Some stuff thay is freaking me out at school today

Okay I have something I want to talk about that happened today at school I haved noticed that we have metal detector and sniff dogs.

Well I wanna know how did a kid get marhawana(sp?) pass a gurad dog ?

The kid was caught with a lit one in his pocket and he got expelled.
Another thing that happened was some kid was caught with a knife!!
How in the world did that get pass a metal detectoer?
Shouldent it have picked it up what kind of chepe school is this?
We cant even afford a decent dog or detector.
And there were many many fights today a kid got stabbed with a knife..... and he lost alot of blood on our gym floor and another kid got in a fight and got knocked out in one punch he was out before he hit the floor. Then at lunch my friend got suspened for starting another fight
Later there were some fights that not even the cops could stop one of the cops that came to school got his nose broken...
later two girls got in a fight over a boy got there faces all bloody and got suspened but werent allowed to go home till school was over. Well after lunch part 2 of the fight happened in the school almost every kid was there and the teachers came and chased off all the kids and it looked like a stamped of kids runing at me.And some kids started throwing milk bottels at everyone one.
But before it was over a kid therew 5 firecrakers in the crowed of kids some kid got his faced burn another got a bllody face and one of the firecrakers lanned on me and blewup on me it really hurt i was acutally knocked out and got a 3rd degree burn on my back. so the kids doing this were expelled and since it was so close to the end of the day thay just had me wait in the office okay now after school I was waiting for my ride home when another fight broke out I was amazed to see a adult fighting a 10th grader and the adult was getting the crap knoked out of him!! bloddy face bruseis everywhere!!
And the school cop that came couldent stop the fight so whenthe cops came thay had to use there canes to stop the fight both the kid and adult were sent to the cops office.
How could all of this happen in one day and what type of school cant stop this??
I am really getting scared of going to school I can fight but what if I got pulled into a fight witha adult or more then one kid?

Can't say my school is THAT bad, it's not violent since everyone is always high lol. However, I did get shot down by the only two girls I considered asking out in a span of only past two days (at least it wasn't rejection... one has a BF the other well ehh that's diff story :p ) and regardless of why I struck out twice...it's kinda getting to me :(. Regardless....all that violence stuff in your school is indeed freaky.

A knife? There were kids with guns at my school. Hell, there was a fight every day. A big one. One girl slammed another girl's head through one of those plastic display windows when I was in Junior High. I've seen people get thrown down the stairs, stabbed, heads slammed into the wall. There were drug busts once or twice a week, bomb threats, homemade explosives...and I went to what I consider a "good" school.

In my school, they used to force students to fight to the death in the cafeteria like gladiators. The mob would decide when the loser was dead enough. Also, some kids had giant phasers like in Demolition Man.

My school looks like a little puppy compared to that. We barely ever have fights. Little hick town in a corn field.

That sounded like an episode of boston public if you ask me. :D

*blink blink* Wow. You can't get away with anything at my school, and I mean anything. The cops, private investigators, and media were called to my school once just because a kid was downloading the ingrediants that make a bomb for chemistry extra credit. Not only that but we also have those dogs that go around looking for the drugies, and they find them too. My advice to you is to stay away from a lot of people and places that you know could get you into trobble.

Why are all so lucky the guy that girl that got stabbed will be in the hospital for almost a month.

This sort of stuff was the norm at my high school. The thing I never understood was how did people with guns, knife, drugs, etc. get past the detectors and I was accused of having a beeper!!

I had to get my bag x-rayed 3 times plus when they weren't satisfied they looked through my bag and everything! They made a whole fuss about how I had a beeper but when everything was said and done... I had absolutely NO electronics in my bag and nothing that even resembled electronics! :mad: :mad:

Now, I am in college and find it strange to have no x-ray machines or metal detectors. Especially since I'm in Midtown Manhattan. A lot of people there yet no dectors or x-raying. :confused:

Well schools put metal detectors and crap in place but don't use it. I swear to God I've gone through the metal detector atleast a thousand times and it's gone off over half of those times. I wouldn't bring a weapon to school but I seriously could have.

We also have a convayer belt but security picks and chooses who goes to put book bags through. I have never once had to run my book bag through it.

A girl at my school got stabbed as well, in the head with an Ice pick from home. She's in the hospital right now and the day after it happened security started coming in rooms check book bags and pockets. They took our cell phones and combs, this happened for exactly one day . After that everything went back to normal.

So basically unless security gets stepped up, which will just slow the entire day down and create more complaints about student privacy things like this will happen.

Boston Public? This is more like Fight Club...or Real Bout High School.

Man, and I thought my HS was scary. We had some fights, nothing real major, a kid got stabbed once, and we had some home made explosives, twice, but nothing like that. No one ever ganged up like that. What are the parents doing?

Been like that since the 70s good thing i just moved here and i am only staying here for 3 more weeks one of our teachers died today in school.

If I went to that school, I would fear each day. Anyone who is not scared by so many incidents like those has a lot of courage.

All I can say is...wow. My school is nothing like that. When a fight happens, it's a big deal, but they usually don't last for more than a couple minutes. I'm glad to say my school is a small, protective school where violence rarely happens. My school doesn't even see the need to get metal-detectors or dogs. I would think they would do something more with the drug issue, especially when we have a place like "Cancer Corner" just outside the school grounds. It's not a big issue, but something could be done about it.

my school was also one where there was more of a drug problem than a violence problem. In 4 years there I can only recall 2 fights total, which is almost as many OD's as we had a term.

That's, kind of scary. I can't say our school is perfect but with a small town like ours it's usually just a fist-fight. Like a kid slaming another guy's head against a locker.

My school's pretty tame overall, but our grade has always been the absolute worst (and we're proud of it! :p ).

This year and last year...


There have been a ton of fist fights (no knives or anything though).
My friend got suspended for two weeks for hacking into the school's network.
Somebody drew swastikas on the bathroom wall last year, multiple times. We still have no idea who this was...
One kid called 911 three times in a row from a payphone, then attempted to drown himself in the toilet.
Not a lot of kids who do drugs, but I know there are a few.


There's probably a lot more that I can't remember right now, but oh well. My school is usually pretty calm, though.
