It's a scam/spam e-mail. Just delete it. I've gotten that exact same e-mail (with different names and locations) several dozen times from several dozen different e-mail addresses.

No, it's real, really - I think there is money to me made. Oooh, excellent after that I can update my answer on the lying thread... :)

It's bogus - although many of these e-mails have been going around and the FBI has asked that people who receive this forward them to them - primarily because it is believed that terrorist cells could be using these types of scams to acquire people's bank account numbers or use these accounts to transfer money around the globe.

I actually got one of these awhile ago, and talked to similar people who got it. Evidently, some guy had gotten ahold of some emails and was mass spamming them from California. One guy said he contacted the Attorney General of California.

Yep, it's a scam. A pretty old and famous one, too. In every example I've seen, it's a guy from Nigeria, too. Anyway, there are a couple different variations, but the intent is always the same. Just delete it and hope it doesn't fool anybody else.

I get these kind of things all the time in my excite email account. I think I have about 10-15 of these babies in my inbox. Not surprisingly, it's the account I use to register into message boards and post on usenet...
