Right...so the cast list was up today.

Something about not having the right "mix of talent" to do the play that we were going to do, and the play being cancelled. What this means is that we didn't have the right number of girls who could sing like opera stars. The guys we were fine on. We had some great voices there. The director is going to choose another musical in the next few days. Oh, yes...I got the lead role. Too bad we're not doing the damned play. :). But I'm sure I'll love the next play...if there's a villain in it.

Well, that sucks that the play got canned, but now you know you CAN get the lead role. That's awesome news in THAT regard, man.

Don't know yet. We're picking another musical in the next few days. It's not so much that I want the lead, as that I loved the lead role in COMPANY. I want the part that I fit, whatever we choose. But it's fairly obvious that I'm one of the better singers there, so it's possible I could have the lead again.
