Now that 2002 has come and gone, what do you think were the best parts of it? (Answer these or make up some of your own.)

Having a Cartoon Cartoon get a theatrical feature(only for it to flop:().

Best Event:
The 13th Whatever those awards were. Fancy Anvils. I kind of liked that. Hopefully we will see it again around March this year.
Best New Show:
Robot Jones- Funny in some ways unlike the next choice.
Worst New Show:
KND. I thought I could get into this, but I don't find anything about it funny. I don't know why. Just not my kind of funny I guess.
Best improved Cartoon:
(Based on 2001-1999) Ed, Edd, n Eddy.
For two years it was put on the back burner with no promo's, no new episodes for almost 16 months making it seem like the show was done in 1999. 2002 brought new eps, plenty of promo's to become one of CCF's most popular shows.
What the heck happened? Cartoon:
Dexter. Wow, what a difference a year or two make as far as animation and writing. Renewed for 2 more seasons, but after 3, not looking forward to 4.
Best Marathon:
Cartoon Cartoon Summerfest.
Why not? New premires, music videos. One side track, not being able to vote on the next CC. But hey, the format was great and I would like to see it done this way this year.
Most Discouraging of 2002.
The PPG movie. The heart was there, the audience was obviously not. I mean "Hey Arnold" did more money. What the heck was with that? And releasing it at the same time as MIB2 didn't help either.
Say goodbye to:
Time Squad. 2 Season ended 6/20/02. Had a good run, but not exactly a target funny for eveyone. Few memorable episodes and some funny one liners.
Courage. Ended 11/22/02. After 4 great seasons, The show ended production. Miss ya little purple one. Which leads to:
Most anticipated event (for a few) of 2003:
Ed, Edd, n Eddy will end sometime this year, depending on how fast CN rolls out the 10 remaining eps. For most, this is a day that we don't want to see come this year but will. So make the most of the 10 left and enjoy.
Hope for the New Year:
Funnier shows that I can get into so that when the Eds do end and my interest fades (like so many cartoons that stop showing new eps) I'll have a backup favorite.
That and another CCF movie. But thanks to above, the hope for that went down the shoot.
Happy New Year 2003!
Allen's Nickname.
