I've seen some good PPG fanart done in the style of anime and I even saw a anime-styled fanart of Ed, Edd 'n Eddy. (At the Deviantart website.) But if any Cartoon Cartoon can have potentially intresting anime-styled fanart then what would it be in your opinion?
The first thought that comes to my mind would be "Codename: Kids Next Door". While Numbahs 1, 2 & 5 might be good my top picks have to be Numbah 3 & 4. Why?
Well for Numbah 3, its really not hard to see this but what the heck. With her "cutesy" personality, style and mannerisms she can easily be pictured in a Anime style. (ESPECIALLY if some fan artist did a CHIBI pic of Numbah 3. Hee hee I can just see it now.)
Now as for Numbah 4 well it's not quite as easy to explain but its not exactly hard either. He has that youthful "tough guy" attitude, yet with his young phyisical appearance, mop-top hair and lack of height over the others. (Chicks have this thing with short dudes.) So in another words it won't be hard to imagine him as a "young anime bishounen" if you know what I mean. ;)
The others are...possible but I can DEFINTELY see these two getting styled like that. As for the others well I suppose its possible but I'm not quite sure. What do you people think?

I dunno... call me strange, but I think anime-styled 'Courage the Cowardly Dog' art would be a laugh riot, yet strangley.. cute at the same time.
Same goes for KND. I'll have to give that one a shot sometime. :)

Dexter, and The Powerpuff Girls have had plenty of anime inspired artwork by the fans.

Johnny Bravo, Time Squad, KND
And I've seen plenty of really cool anime-styled Samurai Jack fanart, if you want to include him. But I suppose that's not too hard to imagine.

I've actulay drawn some anime versions of the KND's 4 and 3. If you want to see them I have them up in an archive at side7.com (http://side7.com) just look for DanniB in the search.
I'm planning on drawing the others soon, although i'm not to sure how to draw numbah 2 anime style. not many fat people in anime to work off of. unless somebody knows where I can find some pictures online.

I've seen a Japanese PPG fansite where Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, as well as the RowdyRuff Boys (Brick, Butch, and Boomer), were drawn as Japanese anime-type girls, and all the PPG characters (even Mojo and the Professor!) dress up as famous anime characters (Sailor Moon, CardCaptor Sakura and the like).
"Jack," too, has anime-style potentials. Picture him drawn like Inu-Yasha, or Ruroni Kenshin (aka "Samurai X"). Aku, the show's resident villain, could be drawn like Galactor (or Zoltar) from G-Force, or a giant transforming mecha, like the kind Go Nagai draws. (And Jack would look cool in the trademark Nagai sideburns most of the male characters wear!)

And they're not bad at all. I admit that I have seen better anime-styled drawings of the Cartoon Cartoons before but still they are not bad at all.

Looks really good! I like, I like!
The only husky anime character I can think of off the top of my head is Junpai from Digimon Frontier. I don't have any piccys of him stored, but you might be able to find something by searching 'Digimon Frontier'...
I'd love to see more anime-styled work for Courage, Ed Edd n' Eddy, and KNDs. I've seen a lot of Samurai Jack and PPGs, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see more good examples, too!
I found a Japanese EEnE site that had all the Eds (and Kevin) drawn Japanese-style... looked great.

I've been trying to draw Time Squad characters in anime style. While I can imagine Otto and Tuddrussel in that style, Larry is just too hard...
