Best Dr. Weird Opening?

I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but the beginning to the popup ad episode is CLASSIC.

The first was the best:

Dr. Weird: Gentlemen, vegetables have threatened man for generations. I have obtained funds to solve..this vegetable...nightmare!
Steve: Um, Dr. Weird, I thought that grant was for something like curing diseases.....
Dr. Weird: The grant........what is that?
Steve: Uhh..
Dr Weird: Shut up! Behold......the Raboot!
Steve: Uh, Dr. Weird....
Dr. Weird: Now bring me my large French perfume and spray him in the eyes because that's how it happened to me!
*Rabbot is sprayed in it's face*
Dr. Weird: Now you feel pretty, don't you? Muhahahahahahahaha!
*The Rabbot smashes through the wall*
Dr. Weird: The Rabbot, what has Science done!?!?!


The Moonites first episode and the Lepraucohlis opening come in a close second together.

Dr. Weird: Gentlemen, behold........ are you ready to rock!?!?!
Steve: Uh uh, I'm ready.....
Dr. Weird: Well I'm gonna blow you hair to the back of this audiotorium, 1-2-3-4!!!!
*He starts playing the guitar in true Rock fashion*
Dr. Weird: This one's called Robot Infliction!!!!!!

Dr. Weird: Gentlemen, I have created........this thing!
Steve: What is it?
Dr. Weird: I don't know, stand over here!
Steve: You mean right hereree..................
*Steve stands in the rainbow and is ejected from the building*
Dr. Weird: It works! I am one can short of a six pack, Muhahahahaha!
*The lights go out and his invention is stolen*
Dr. Weird: The lights! Who is that, who's here?
*The lights come back on and it's gone*
Dr. Weird: That thing I created...it's gone!
*Scene of that Raboot hole*
Dr. Weird: Who coudl've penetrated my inpenetratble fortress!?!!
*His hair bursts into flames*
Dr. Weird: My hair heater!!!!!!

(Steve gets sucked into vortex, Dr. Weird slowly being pulled in)
Dr. Weird: Uh, feast your eyes!
(Dr. Weird gets sucked in)

The "Bad Replicant" opening is one of my faves:

Dr. Weird: Gentlemen... chop off my head with such velocity, that my blood will rocket through my neck, and propell my lifeless body all the way to Phoenix!
Steve: ...wow. Uh... what's in Phoenix?
Dr. Weird: Why, it's your momma, Steve! Get the axe!

Last night's opening was pretty funny. The idea of hacking away at one's body with a chainsaw is humorous and innovative, everything a great animated comedy scene needs. I was actually kind of surprised that they were able to show it honestly. Every now and then I find myself having my attention perked over the content AS shows have. I'm loving it to be honest. It's about time we got some more "edgy" animation out there to the public.

Next stop, Heavy Metal (nah, I'm just joking, but the idea of it is pretty funny).

Dr. Weird unveiled a pile of corn and Steve was like "Uh, yah, corn, I was kind of hungry" and when he starts to apporoach it Dr. Weird yells "Then let the mating.....beign!!!" and 5 ears of corn impale Steve's chest and one wraps around his face. He is then pinned to the wall by the corn.

Yeah, the uncut one. When it aired as a stealth pilot, it was longer than the version that airs on Adult Swim. I've never seen it, but supposedly it has a lot of extra scenes, and no Schoolly D narration. I like Schoolly D, but it would be nice to see the added scenes edited back in.

However, that's not going to happen unless we want 0083-type time issues.

Yep, it sure did. I remember seeing a Webpage that compared the "uncut" version to the "AS" version.
