Today’s episodes luckily didn’t have any material that required the kind of editing of the previous episode. There was only one edit, and that was in the Hell Painter episode. When the painter used a sword to pierce his arm to draw his ink back to him, a shot of the blade piercing his arm and blood flying everywhere was removed. It resembled the kind of splattering found in a “Cowboy Bebop” edit, so there’s your reason. Other than that, everything was left intact.

Anime v. Manga: The Hell Painter episode was slightly rewritten for the anime. In the manga, the princess played a slightly bigger role. The painter wanted to use his ink to draw his own princess, but he always drew her face like an ogre’s. She he used his demons to summon her to his shack so he could find inspiration to draw her properly. If you want more explanation, sorry, I can't think of it. As for the second episode, it followed the manga pretty closely.

Next episode…um, I think the preview will determine how you feel about waiting an entire week. Heh heh heh...
