Been lurking here awhile, with this being my first post. Since it seems ep 16 got cut at the opening due to strange commercial placement, and with those opening minutes holding a few neat little plot wrap-ups from the previous ep, I decided to clip the opening minute or so from my recording and post it for anyone who wants to see what they missed. The file is about 1 minute long, just under a mb in size, and encoded with fair quality. I don't really consider this "Fansub" or "Piracy", and hopefully the other members here won't either. Enjoy.

Hey, thanks a bunch! It should be just fine, seeing as it's just a clip and not an entire episode.

Much appreciated! You're right, it does conveniently tie up some of the previous episode's plot line. I was also curious why Inu Yasha was chasing Shippo around, although I figured it was something similar to what actually happened.
Thanks again!

Yes, thank you.
Though I found it rather unnecessary.
IMO it would be better to deduce character's motivations and feelings from their actions without hearing their inner thoughts, explaining stuff that is usually obvious. It is the one thing I dislike about the show.
During Inuyasha I often find myself calling out an old MST3K line "THANK YOU CAPTIAN EXPOSITION!"

I always hate that part of the episode. They'll spend as much as 3 minutes recapping the last episode, piss on that :moon2:

sometimes it seems like it is longer than 3 minutes.

Thanks, MBxxSC! :D You've really come in handy recently! That file didn't take long to download at all...

There wasn't any strange commercial placement when I watched it...what kind of ad was it since I didn't see it

Same here. That entire scene aired when I watched Inuyasha last weekend. Weird.

Where I live, there was some cheap-o infomercial type ad on. I don't remember what exactly they were selling. Same thing happened for the opening credits of Bebop.

Thanks for posting the clip. I'm suprised at the quality of it. Usually when I download anything, it comes out choppy and pauses a lot. Thanks again.

I was kind of surprised I managed to keep it at fair quality and come in under 1mb. I was originally going to post it without dropping any frames or lowering sound quality, but that had it around 11mb, and even though it's on a T1, that would have sucked for dial up users. Not really sure what the story was with the commercials that aired. My only guess is that it was a slot that was reserved for local advertising, but someone screwed up the timing and caused the cut.
