Is there any chance of an American release of Cowboy Bebop sesion XX "Mish mash Blues" coming to america.
I realize that this is probably old news, but I couldn't find anything through search about it.

Mish Mash Blues? look at what you are writing before you post. try saying this aloud...does it sound silly to you? just a question.

It's not new, it was created to fill up the first season in japan (they only had 12 done, and needed to air 13) . From what I've read, it's clips from the 12 episodes airable for the first season with the characters providing commentary. It is real here (http://rfblues.aaanime.net/Sessions/SessionXX/) is a summary.

Considering it was never released in Japan, I doubt it will ever be released in America.

The Japanese love clip shows for some reason. So whenever you hear about a "lost episode" 80% of the time, it's just a clip show. they do this with American cartoons too.

From what I've read about this show, it's all recycled animation but with new voice overs, which would be in japanese, so they would have to be redone to release it here, since subtitles are out of the question for AS!
Personally, I think it would be neat, but I'm not holding my breath, and if it doesn't happen, I wont be too sad since it's all clips from the first 12 eps anyway, but then again, I like watching Bebop so much, I'm sure I'd get a kick out of it... too bad they didn't think to do something with this for the upcoming 'best sessions' 2-disk set coming out, would have been perfect, and would have certainly cemented my decision to buy the set, since as of now, I'm about 50/50 as to whether I'll buy it or not...

Best Sessions is the Best of Cowboy Bebop, not the "Hey we need to fill in for a week cause the animators haven't finished so lets make up some crappy clip show" DVD.

No, it's not, but they COULD include it as an extra anyway.

Clip eps usually have some new animation. Not much, but some.

I wish it would be available on a DVD or something....
[pipe dream] Heeey, maybe it'll be on the Bebop movie DVD![/end pipe dream]
Mish-Mash Blues is (according to The Real Folk Blues site) "An extra session created to be the final episode of the first thirteen episode run. This session is composed of clips from previously aired sessions. During these clips, Spike, Jet, Faye and Ed philosophize."

It would be cool if CN and Bandai dubbed it, reuniting the English voice cast. They could show a marathon showcasing only the episodes that aired on Japanese broadcast TV with the clip episode airing at the end of the marathon. Since it was not given a home video release in Japan, they could just air it on CN.

The Real Folk Blues site... my source for all that is Bebop. Nice to know someone else goes there other than me.
As for everyone saying it's the first 13 eps recapped I say, well, yes and no. Yes because it's the first 13 that aired in Japan, but the first in Japan I believe was Gateway Shuffle (If you look at that site it shows that none of the Julia eps. were shown during the first season and Asteroid Blues was NOT the first ep. aired in Japan even though it was intended to be the first episode). Confused? So am I, but that's how it works.

Only 12 episodes were shown out of 26 because of the adult nature of the series.
It didn't get a full run until later in the air on a digital cable channel.
