Was it just me, or did a lot of shows seem to have a reference to "Rejected" in them tonight? I don't remember them all off the top of my head, but I remember a "Bejesus" on Sealab, I believe.

I think there was also sumthin on ATHF, i think they said jesus sumwhere, but im not sure

It's a pretty religious night, Rejected would've fit right in.

It's just you, hon. They were most likely all coincidences.

"Rejected" isn't the first thing that had the word "Jesus".

jesus wasnt said in rejected to was a speech bubble over a puff and it was on the screen for 5-8 seconds i guess

I'm beginning to think that "sweet jesus" wasn't the real reason Rejected didn't air. I think whichever executive decided it wouldn't air just didn't like the short and made up some excuse to get it off the air.

Considering that the person who pulled Rejected off the schedule was Jamie Kellner, that is definitely very believeable. After all, Jamie Kellner has been pissing many viewers of the WB/Turner networks off since 1996.

I think there is a secret, evil reason Rejected was cancelled, and "Sweet Jesus" was a coverup. Ill tell you more when I finish making up my theory.

*Me thinks that the only reason they cut it because of Sweet Jesus is that the censors had filled up their Allowable quota.*

In other words, it was the last censor straw.

I would say that since all the episodes that aired last weekend were most likely produce several months ago, it's just a coincidence... plus, religious 'humor' is funny! therefore it is in adult swim alot.
