first off i heard a rumor about one piece going to be on adult swim is that true?

also i think the action line up needs some new american cartoons, like they could pick up Bone (since the movie will never be made) or hellboy (since there is a movie coming out)

One Piece is most likely coming to Cartoon Network, yes. Adult Swim? It's unknown which block it'll be on.

Yes I would love to see an original American action show on ASA. Maybe they should do my idea for a show. ^_^

Bone would be awesome. Once, Smith was contacted by Nickelodeon to do a cartoon, but he didn't want them to screw it up, especially because it would be produced by Klasky-Csupo.

I'm not sure if Bone would translate into a long-running series though. As a comic book it can afford to drag things out the way it does, but in a TV show, a slow pace like that would be unforgivable.

I want to see One Piece. Especially since I took that test "Which Anime are you Most Like" (sorry I don't have the link, someone please post it if you have it) One Piece showed up. I would like to see an American studio produce a serious action show for Adult Swim. Whether it's Cartoon Network Studios, Warner Bros Animation, whoever, let's see something done.

"One Piece" is more of a Shonen series...I'd expect it on Toonami, not AS. It's my dirty secret that I want to see some of it.

Bone is the type of series that will benefit from the erradication of the separate Action/Comedy blocks, since Bone fits into neither category.

You really think it's dragged out? I think the only reason you think that is because we only get like three issues a year, IF WE'RE LUCKY. Besides, it would be nice to see an American cartoon on Adult Swim, made for Adult Swim, based on a comic book that wouldn't just be a bunch of 22-minute stand-alone episodes.

I love Klasky-Csupo, but no way would I (or Jeff Smith apparently) trust either them or Nick to handle a Bone cartoon. If it happened, it could be great, and with all the comic books becoming movies lately, maybe it has a chance, but I doubt it. Just speaking from my years of frustration with the comics industry here.

Was watching Toonami the other day, as I was bored and couldn't sleep. :p Their commercial cut has TOM talking about "Something new" coming, but of course he won't say what. This might be One Piece.

Well, since I own 70 episodes and seen almost all of them, I can officially call myself a fan of the series.

This series will have to go to Adult Swim. There are just far too many scenes that can only be kept by Adult Swim which are assential to the plot line.

The fighting is VERY violent at times and there is alot of death going on. Blood everywhere and some suggestive sexual terms sprayed about too.

In one scene, a girl stabs herself several times in the arm with a knife to get rid of a tatoo. In others, people are cut up like vegetables.

This series, at times, may even be too much to edit for AS.
