Okay, anime experts, quick question:

Yu Yu Hakusho and Inu Yasha are both very long series, but are they finished or are they still being produced in japan?

I think Yu Yu Hakusho is done in Japan, but InuYasha is still going.

Yu Yu hakusho was aired in Japan starting on 10-10-1992 and ended on 01-07-1995. The series is 114 episodes long and has two movies...

InuYasha started on 10-16-2000...and is still running in japan. I don't know exactly which epsiode they are on but i think it is somewhere in the 90's by now. Inuyasha also has 2 movies

You are correct, episode 91 aired on the 4th of this month, with 92 set to air on the 18th.

And just to clarify, IY has only one movie released. The second movie is currently in production, however. For some reason, I'm wanting to say that it's going to be released in December, but don't quote me on that.

EDIT: Just checked, and I was right...release date for the second movie is December 21st.

So it looks like we'll be doing a power rangers type deal with Inuyasha(where we get the rights to dub the episodes the year after they air in Japan).

Viz actually got the rights to Inu-Yasha less than a year into it's production. They've been shopping it around TV ever sense, oping someone would bite. I'm glad CN and WS finally did.
