Okay I have just gotta ask. If inuyasha's father was like 300 ft tall than how did he get inuyasha's mother knocked up? How could any normal human women live through that. It could be i missed something in the episode but an answer would be great.

Creeper's right. Just as Shippo and Sesshomaru can take human form, Inu-Yasha's father, in all likelihood, could as well.

maybe he just wasn't gifted in the package department...or maybe Inuyasha's mother liked "them" big o.O...

He probaly just took his human form like everyone has said...

Powerful Youkai can take human form.

So he screwed her when he was in his human form.

People who watch Yu Yu Hakusho know this as well. Hiei and Kurama are both demons, but they spend most of their time in their human forms.

Does anyone know if Rumiko Takahashi has drawn Inu Yasha's father in human form? I'd like to see what he looks like.

Nope, and we never hear him by name either, just as the Great Demon of the West. I think she just kinda left him up to the reader's imagination.

I think of him as Sesshomaru, just not so bishy.

Really? I always pictured Fluffy as getting his looks from his mother's side of the family, and Inuyasha's coming from dear ol' dad's.

Probably the best non-Takahashi version of the (very) dysfunctional clan came from the extremely well-done fanfic, "The White Dog" and all its little side stories. She really went all out, naming all their family members, introducing other dog clans, the works.

Well if you take the bishounen out of Fluffy and make him a bit younger then you kind of get Inu Yasha. At least that's what I think ;) I think demons want to look bishy just to look elegant, powerful, deadly, and of course sexy all at the same time. Fluffy and Naraku are examples.
