How many of you Bebop fans have seen the entire series? Raise your hand.

OK, that's a lot of you.

Now, how many of you Mobile Suit Gundam fans have seen the entire series? Raise your hand.

Wow...one...two...three...there aren't a lot of you, are there?

Now, supposing that the schedule for AS Weeknights is going to remain like this:

11: Futurama
11.5: Home Movies
12: Inu-Yasha
12.5: Cowboy Bebop

Well, the poll I posted asks this: How many of you would be OK with Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) replacing Cowboy Bebop on the weeknight run? I mean, Bebop's already had like 5 or 6 runs already, yet MSG hasn't even had ONE complete run. I say we give Cowboy Bebop a break--put it back on after MSG has a full run. That way, it wouldn't become the DBZ of Adult Swim, and fans would find the show refreshing again when it returns in the future. Meanwhile, MSG fans would be happy that their show is FINALLY getting the run it deserves.

Whatdya' think?

Just a small nitpick: It's already confirmed that that IS NOT the schedule, but whatever.

I'd say keep Bebop. People will want to get rid of it, and that'll make for something new.

I'd say put MSG in Bebop's place and put Bebop on Sunday. I picked this reason because I love Gundam, I never watched MSG when it was on Toonami (i dont know why), and Bebop can go on Sunday night because it's earned the right to be. :D

I think that they should just put different shows on different nights.

Oh really? My bad. I don't remember hearing about a revised schedule...

I think that they should just put different shows on different nights.

Eh, I actually don't like that idea. One of the main problems with ASC is that different things come on at different timeslots on different weeks. You can never tell what will be airing at 11pm on Sunday nights--Mission Hill? Ripping Friends? Sealab? It changes week-by-week, and it can get really confusing. I should think that the anime would do better on weeknights, anyway--both Inu-Yasha and MSG are a bit long to put on only once a week, and I think a weekday treatment is what it deserves.

No. Same thing every week, just on a different night.

I think one slot should be just for mid run shows like CB and OS. 20-40 eps. Each their own night of the week. The others like Inuysha, Tenchi and MSX (all of them) should have their own daliy slot.

I am afraid that I will OD on CB daliy. It will take some time though. :p

I am realy intrested in how the new "Amine Channel" will effect AS. We won't see many shows from ADV if they get it on the air and they will dry up some of the other sources. It will get us runs of other shows, mainly TV-MA's that AS would not run. :D

Didn't they say it'd be from 11-2? Mobile Suit Gundam and Cowboy Bebop would probaly be the last hour. Inuyasha, and YYH the first. (IF they don't get YYH, they'd probaly have Ghost in the Shell by January anyway)

GitS won't be ready til at least Spring. Bandai Entertainment is busy with other projects right now.

I say Bebop should stay on in at least January, then go to a limited showing in February. With the Cowboy Bebop Movie hitting American theaters this January, it's the perfect opportunity for Cartoon Network to grab some extra publicity for the TV show.

Anything Gundam is great. Although I have seen Gundam through a few times, I have seen Cowboy Bebop far more times. They should have CB every Sunday so it doesn't "get old" fast. Think about it MSG is about 40 episodes and CB is about 22 eps.

CB is 26 episodes to be exact.

I think they should air MSG on the weeknights. That way, they can at least finish it before Char's Counterattack airs.

Well, since they won't be going to weeknight AS until after Char's Counterattack airs, that seems to be a moot point.

I vote for CB on Sundays (for those who have just discovered it and haven't seen it multiple times) and MSG on weeknights (once they start weeknight AS); MSG really deserves at least one full run on CN. (Besides, this is the first time I've seen it and I would really like to see the whole thing! :) )

I say Bebop should stay on weeknights like the schedule says because to me, it never gets old!

MSG on weeknights, and CB on Sunday. Why?

- It would be nice to see MSG get a complete run for once.
- If they're going to be mixing up the weeknight blocks w/ comedy and anime, why not mix up the Sunday block too?
- CB is just too popular to get rid of right now. While I don't want it to become the DBZ of AS, I know it's going to be the show that brings in new viewers and keeps them coming back.

I put "don't care," for the simple reason that I don't like Mobile Suit Gundam, and I have all of CB on DVD. So whichever they air, I won't watch it, because even if they were to show CB without edits this time (unlikely) I'd still rather watch it without commercial interruption- that IS why I paid good money for the DVDs. (-:
But I realize I'm in the minority here, good points all around.

Has everyone forgotten that just because one of them might be on weeknights doesn't necessarily mean it has to be on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday?

Putting Cowboy Bebop on Sundays isn't really any different than putting Cowboy Bebop on Mondays or any other day. :p

But I'd still rather see it on....

SATURDAY! Too bad they're getting rid of Saturdays though, so that's not gonna happen unless they make a last-minute change. :p

If they made a Toonami on Saturday nights replacing Adult Swim. (Even though it's not likely) Mobile Suit Gundam would likely be on it. As well as Outlaw Star and 0080. (Which would probaly be replaced with other Toonami shows. Like 08th MS Team and Tenchi Universe)
