What are you most serious fears? (Sorry I'm doing all the info threads, I just want to know more about ToonZone people! :D )
I am scared stiff of SPIDERS (Though Tobey is very handsome ;) )
and I'm afraid of anything to do with death involving something about my neck. *SHUDDER*

These three comes to mind when I hear fear:
Heights is a big problem for me but only if I'm not attatched to something, like jumping off the high dive.
Pitch black - especially when I'm out in the woods or an open field alone. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't watch so many scary movies or listened to paranormal stories. For my night land nav, I was so glad we were allowed buddy teams so I literally clinged onto my buddy when it got to the point I couldn't see my hand in front of me.
Talking to the guy I like - or more like, attempting to ask him to hang out. (This is serous here!! In high school I couldn't even breathe normal to ask one guy I liked to a dance so I didn't even bother asking at all). I've termed this problem "rejectophobia" :p

I did say SPIDERS right?
I know I did, but they derserve double talk. I literally crawled out of my skin earlier tonight when I walked into my utility room and low and behold there was this HUGE butted spider. Needless to say, he no longer exists. :p

Serious fears.....
I will echo your fear of spiders. I just freak out with just about any kind of bug esp. cockroaches.
Other fears include open heights. Tall buildings don't bother me but I couldnt' go up on the side of them and I hate latters.
Other fear....I will wind up alone.
Lonliness, embaressment, and death.

Failure. I can live with embarrasement, you have to if you want to make it as an actor! Death bothers me just a bit. There's just something about it that bothers me, perhaps not so much the idea of it, but the idea of how old I'll be when it happens....kinda complicated, I'm even confusing myself! Anyhoo, spiders as well. I love animals of any kinds, watch Animal Planet and all, but spiders and snakes still scare the crap out of me. Sometimes I kill them, if they're small enough I let them be. But whenever I go to kill them use to think they'd somehow jump away, attack me, run off and alert the "others" and then they'd all come and get me...I'm not logical sometimes :p

The thought of praying mantises and walking sticks crawling on my neck. I have nightmares about them, and just typing this gives me an urge to cover up my neck. I can't even look at pictures of the things.
For some reason, Zorak doesn't bother me at all... :p

I too am a sufferer of Aracniphobia. Especially big orange spiders, that have big butts, and jump 4 feet at your face; sortof like the one from this morning.

I don't fear death, but I fear not accomplishing anything before death. It is more the expiry date I fear than the act of death itself.
I fear losing control. I don't like to be caught with my pants down. I'd like to foresee most outcomes to be prepared for them.
I don't fear loneliness itself, but I fear prolonged loneliness.

Wow, it seems most Toon Zoners have anxiety about letting someone down, or being a total failure.
I must admit that was something I hadn't thought of, and yes, am also afraid of.

Spiders
Heights
After Poltregiest, Clowns.
I have no problems with Spiders if they're away from me in their natural habitat (aka: outside) but when come near me, NO.

This will sound really weird, REALLY weird, but I can't help it.
I'm scared of distant sounds. Like voices you can hear, but there far away and you can't hear them very well. This is because of a dream I had. I dreamed that I was outside, and all these people were calling my name(Luke), but I could only hear them in the distance. They said they were going to kill me, and git really descriptive and gruesome(stuff like "I'll tear your ************ face off") and it was beyond scary. Ever since then distant voices just scared me.
Oh yeah, I'm scared of those things that pop out on the computer. You've probably seen them, theres this picture and it says to stare at it for a long time and then a gohst pops out. That scared the hell outta me. lol

I think so. I don't drink, for instance, and I'm even reluctant to rely on pills or drugs when I'm sick. I'm not the type who can pop pills everyday for very long.
I only hope that my habit for control doesn't extend to other people close to me. I wouldn't want someone I care about to feel as if I'm controlling her. So I guess I believe in individuality as well, which means my sense of control only goes as far as how much a given situation may involve me.

Dark... deep... waters.
I also hate when I can see seaweed. And when I can't see it and it touches my foot, that just creeps me out! :(
Cause I feel like something is gonna grab me and pull me down into the water and I will drown...

Dark... deep... waters.
Ever since i saw this thing on The Discovery Channel I've had the same fear.
They were talking about squids whose eyes were the size of a good sized room. They're only in extreeemely deep depths, but still. That's scary.

this may sound odd but, i was always had a fear of going insane and seeing/hearing things that aren't really there. wanna know what recently has me more afraid? i found out from my mum about a month ago that insanity runs in the family!  i find it wierd that i had this fear of becoming insane and then finding out its in the family. i never knew this because next to my father, mother, and sister, EVERYONE else related to me lives in southern europe.
i'm also have a fear of humiliation, faliure, and dogs. it's also interesting to note that my father has been afraid of dogs since he was bitten (BADLY) by a dog in the old country. i am crazy scared of dogs that are not on a leash.
i have also been afraid of cats periodically.
then next to the insanity bit, i'm seriously afraid of having anyone touch my back. even if my sister touches me! it's worse with strangers.
i'm also claustrophobic (sp?). what makes it worse is going to college on the sardine packed trains! :o i have fainted 3 times and almsot fainted countless times. i try to consetrate on something.
the last fear i'll mention is that of anything happening to my non-english speaking parents and my mildly speaking english sister.
.... too many fears i have. leading to darkside it can... :( hopefully not.

I'm definitely claustrophobic... also have a fear of heights, although I LOVE rollercoasters... I guess I just love freaking myself out, period, as long as I know it's safe. ;)
I'm very afraid of watching someone I love suffer, and then losing them.
I used to be paranoid about letting other people down, but I've learned lately that as long as I stay truthful and thoughtful towards others, I shouldn't have to worry about such things at all - however, I'm nowhere near perfect with this goal yet. I still get frazzled easily.

2) Roaches
3) Never finding that one you know you were meant to be with

Of living an unfullfilled life. Of feeling I let myself down. Failing myself rather than others. Being alone? Hmm, depends on the alternative. Living with someone I don't like would be far worse. I'd like to grow old with someone I love, but that doesn't mean I fear living alone.
On a less philosophical side, yes I get a twinge of vertigo and I hate spiders.

Going by Patrick's list, I'm have a tiny degree of trypanophobia (injections), thantophobia (death or dying, meningitophobia (brain disease), lyssophobia (fear of going mad), gerascophobia (fear of growing old), claustrophobia (fear of confined places), algophobia (fear of pain) and zemmiphobia (fear of the great mole rat - although I have no idea what one is, but it sounds prudent to have a healthy fear of one...)
Doctor? DOCTOR!!...

Fears would be the sum of being alone, to be alone and not have the company of any body is the worst there is to fear. The anticipation of not knowing something bad will happen, to have a feeling of a horrible sense, yet to not know when or if the mishap will happen to you, is fearing. And to lose something dear to you is another thing to fear.

-living past the point when I still feel there is use for my life (getting old and feeling useless, losing physical strength, feeling my body slowly die and knowing there is nothing I can do about it) I would rather die unexpectedly while doing something that makes me happy, than wait for my life to slowly drain away
-losing someone I care about
-being stuck in a horrible job for most of my life
-and most importantly, never finding "her"

These situations are not very likely, but I fear them nonetheless:
-Getting in a car accident.
-Depending on my parents for my whole life.
-Getting permanently injured later in life, which is worse than death.
