Hello guys, I'm the Dark Spider and I thread marks my 2000th post here at Toon Zone.
Most people look at a post count as some sort of ranking tool or something. But I look at a post count as a measure of time. And being the big nostalgia freak I am, I like to look back at the kinds of threads I made during this time and the different replies I got. Its kinda fun and its a good way to kill time if you have too much of it.
And hence this thread. When I reached 1000 posts back in May I made a "Reflections of Dark Spider (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?threadid=32585) " thread that told my history and some of my firsts here at TZ. Now at my 2000 post benchmark, I will make a thread highlighting some of my past threads, may it be interesting or just plain stupid. The only problem though is all of the threads are from Cafe TZ. But that's okay since some of my more interesting threads are on this board.
So without further delay....This folks is the Best of Dark Spider.

This was probably my first "girl thread" dating way back in March. I actually remember what sparked this thread. My friend at school told me that this girl from way back in Middle School liked me and I didn't even know. When he told me this I was pissed off. The girl was a cute girl too and I completely missed out.
That was my opinion months ago though. After seeing this girl a couple of weeks ago, she has definitely changed. Boy how people can change after a few years....phew.
But as for the thread, it was a pretty cool thread that got some great replies.

HA, I love this thread! That was definitely a weird day. I still have those sneakers too, but they are sadly worn out....and they sadly don't work their magic anymore. Some of those same girls I mentioned in the linked thread don't even talk to me anymore. :( It's time to buy some more sneakers....hopefully I'll get lucky again with my next pair...

I just finished skimming over this thread and it was hilarious. I vividly remember this trip too, in its entire absurdity. And you know what, I never did forget that LAX means Lacrosse. In fact, I also learned that it's the abbreviation of Los Angeles' major airport too.
And you know at the very end when I said that I hoped the University of Bridgeport trip was better? All I did on that trip was sit in some building and that's it. But it was still better because they fed us.

Basically I was reading alot of my old threads from when I first started and I got all nostalgic...hence this "Newbie Memories" thread. I just love nostaligia, hence the "Reflections of Dark Spider" thread, the "Nostalgia Game" and this very thread I'm typing. I also love all of the repsonses that thread got.

Boy did these jokes die... Whatever happened to Creampuffs, Yatta, Yaffa, Billy Pie, Blenders, The Farmer with the Shotgun, turtles, "tea", digital bathings suits, and other such jokes. I guess we must move on to other jokes... :(

I'm actually going to bring this one back from the dead in a little while because a new situation has popped up. This older co-worker of mine has actually expressed alot of interest in me. Either she's being a little bit too friendly or she likes me. I really don't know what to do about this situation because I'm still 17 and not an adult yet. Look for a thread about this later on in the week if not soon.
Now to actually comment on the old thread, I got some well recieved opinions on this subject.

Now here's a thread to remember. Boy did I miss out on some chances...and I vividly remember the missed chance pointed out in my initial post too (maybe because it happened like two months ago). I saw that girl last month at a city wide college fair. She was looking cute as usual, but she walked away before I even asked for her number. *sigh* Another missed chance...

In typical Dark Spider fashion, the thread is unfinished. But what I did say was enough to do the place justice....
Oh and to conclude the whole thing, I eventually became a "Top Driver" and got my driver's license.
