I just came in here because I was curious.....

1. why do you want everyone's name?

2. there already is a place for people to put their aim name if they want to, that's what the little yellow guy is for :) so why would you need to ask?

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, just wondering

Why are you asking when there are AIM icons allowing you to IM people everywhere ? Chances are the people without 'em don't have it or don't want to be bothered. Besides, don't ask to talk to them, tell them you're going to talk to them. :D
