...well, Legend of Zelda that is...

I read something about the new LoZ for Game Cube over at WF's AniGen Board, and had to see it for myself... Legend of Zelda for GC is taking an interesting new twist to the series... and I'm not completely sure I like what I'm seeing here... it's interesting and all... but is it really Zelda?

It's definitely not what the teaser trailer released back in January made it seem like it was going to be... I'm very interested in hearing what you guys think about this interesting new turn... =)

First impression: What the?! They turned Link into Parappa! Is he going to learn to rap with Master Chop Chop?

After watching the video: Hey, this looks pretty frickin' cool.

The static images honestly don't do the "new look" justice. The video was great... the cartoonish actions of the Moblins (or were they Moblins?) was truly funny, and it's a good indicator that cel-style animation can soon be replicated in CGI on home systems, no less.

Yeah, I was looking for the ultra-detailed Link too, but one of the main reasons Nintendo is at the top of their biz is that they're not afraid to do something new, unlike, well, pretty much everybody else.

I'm excited... bring it on!

I really liked it. IGN said that Miyamoto changed the design so it'd stand out from the rest of the Zelda copiers...so, I voted for "Not bad..not bad at all"....
