This topic is popping up on other forums and I wonder if anybody else notice this too.
It seems that on WB's Everwood that one of the characters, Ephram Brown is suppose to be an anime fan. Anime items are popping on the show including manga and Ramma T-Shirts.
Anime News Network (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/article.php?id=2685) has an article stating that Viz is supplying the anime material for the show.
This has to be the first time on American television where a main character is an anime fan.

I love Everwood . It's very good! I didn't notice he was an Anime and MAnga fan untill he was dreaming about having a deep discussion over Manga and Manga-ka's with that Amy girl. ^___^ I liked what he said about it "Instead of it being Clark Kent who wants to be Superman, it's Superman who wants to be Clark Kent"
The Good thing, it's hopefully promoting Anime and Manga so more people will look into the subject and hopefullylike it. The Bad thing, Euphrem is a dork in the show. :( He gets constantly picked on, except by Amy and that guy who I guess is his friend.
So thats basicly calling all Anime & Manga fans dorks. ><;; I'm sure they didn't mean to send this message... or maybe they did. O__O;;

The fact that the actor is consider to be a teenage "hottie" means that not all anime fans are fat, balding, ugly fanboys.

Hmm, I may have to give that show another chance. I've haven't had much time to watch it on Mondays (it is Monday's right?) and I always forget about the WB's Sunday superwatchamacallit.

Everwood is one of my new favorite shows. I like seeing what anime or manga items pop up each week. I've seen Jin Roh and Vagabond posters in his room, he's worn a Ranma 1/2 T-shirt, and he can be seeing reading manga alot.
