Anybody here use Mozilla?
I recently downloaded it,and it was quite good. The interface is just like Microsoft Internet Explorer, and It runs smoother,in my opinion.Supposedly, its also less integrated into the system than Microsoft Internet Explorer,So,I guess thats a good thing too.
The other thing I like about Mozilla is that it comes with a built in Pop Up Killer.Big releif,I'll say.Useful.It can be found under:
Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Plug-ins>Open Unrequested windows
Its also relativly easy to use and set up,and it comes with a mail client similar to Microsoft Internet Explorers version. The total download is about 10.5 MB.
All in all,I reccomend Mozilla.Easier and better than Microsoft Internet Exporer,in my opinion.
Discuss!

I started off with Mozilla 1.0 alpha and eventually used v1.1. Now I use Netscape 7.0 as my default browser. They are practically the same. But yeah, I recommend Mozilla over IE.

Cheddar? Heh.
I hate Mozilla. From my experience, it's slow, it's ugly, it's slow, it uses non-standard interface elements, it's bloatware (I want to use a web browser, not a web browser AND an email client AND an HTML editor AND an IRC client AND a Usenet client AND etc), and... Why do people keep saying it's fast? It's slow!
My web browser of choice is iCab (http://www.icab.de/) - easily the fastest graphical web browser I've ever tried. But if something's not working in iCab, I'll use Chimera (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/chimera/), which is the Mozilla web page rendering engine ported to pure Cocoa without all the other crap that bogs it down - and it's only a web browser.

Overall, its a really great piece of technology, but I can't honestly say that its interface is up to snuff.
Mozilla's core engine is quite impressive, in that it adheres to almost every web standard out there, as opposed to bastardizing them. Of course, the trade-off being that it has a rather unwieldly interface. Even though that keeps me from using it exclusively, it is a pretty fine browser. I really need to get around to analyzing Opera one of these days...

You know when you install Mozilla, you can remove any apllications you want (i.e. IRC, e-mail client and all the others you listed) You just hace to hit custom set-up. Thats what I did.
Has anybody tried the Opera web browser. I heard that that one is supposed to be fast and good.

Its good, but it supposedly has annoying banner ads, from what I hear.

I like Mozilla, I was using 1.2a, but it one particular bug kept annoying me, so I switched back to Netscape 7, but I'd be willing to re-try Mozilla once they get some kinks worked out.
Opera is pretty cool, but has some problems. It's not as stable as IE or Netscape and isn't as versatile. So I only use it once in a while.

...What?
Actually, due to a deal with the devil a few years back (1998, I think), Internet Explorer is installed by default when you intsall OS X. I know, because I have to delete it (and its God-awful Comic Sans MS font) every once in a while after I upgrade the OS.
Opera is adware. Annoying adware at that. Eudora is the only adware program I've actually liked enough to use; the ad isn't that intrusive.
