Nice ASA Idea to make everyone happy.

Since alot of people dislike the new Openings, I think it would be nice if all SIX shows had openings, however, I do not want the original OPs to be removed. So I thought up a nice idea.

Replace the He-man/Transformers Hour before Adult Swim, with "Toonami - The World's Finest" Which would contain Superman and Batman.

Include both a short 15 second Toonami-style opening, followed by the original opening.

If Adult swim ends past 2:00? No problem. Start the Rising Sun at an Approx time of 2:10 - 2:15, but how will they keep the shows in order. By airing short cartoons. We probaly dont want Cartoon Cartoons in the middle of Action Night, so why not bring Cartoon Roulette back? I know most of the Roulette shows air during Boomeraction. But it still might work.

Now everyone will be happy, save the people who can only watch He-man/Transformers during the current hour and the people that sleep at 2AM. But even with the OPs Adult Swim ends at 2:01. But oh well. Comments?

Unfortunately, I don't like that idea. They do it with "He-Man" and "Transformers: Armada", and I think it's just ridiculous. I mean, hearing He-Man shout "I have the power!" twice in one minute can get very annoying. If you're going to air an opening, air just one.

In ASA's case, I prefer the original openings.

I have to say that I can't understand why they couldn't/wouldn't just air the original openings and be done with it. Why should there be any need at all for Toonami-style openings? Seems to me like making/using such openings is just a waste of time and money when all of the ASA shows already have perfectly good openings (possible exception is MSG, which I believe is already using the Toonami opening - and boy is it annoying to have that announcer explain every single week about humans moving to colonies and the war between the Zeons and the Feds!).

So my opinion: stick with originals. Period.

Do either all Toonami-ish openings or all regular openings, not both. There has to be one or the other, and I'd rather have the originals, but if you have to have those other openings at least make them all that way, then I won't mind as much.

Don't worry, I believe next week is the last time they do that...

...of course then its something like 6 or 7 straight episodes where they play the exact same mid-air conversion at the start of every episode *cries* :(

Bebop and Yu Yu Hakusho can't have their OPs cut. CN isn't allowed to tamper with their tapes, because those are the versions they bought. They can cut the other OPs because they have them seperately. They should definately air them, though.

I'd go against this idea only because I like getting my Autobot-Decepticon mech action right before Inu Yasha. As long as there's not a save the enviroment theme *shudders*. ^^;

About MSG's openings: ASA is using the opening from Bandai's later dubbed episodes from the Videos.

Rephrased: The opening you see at the start of Mobile Suit Gundam on ASA is the opening you see on the later MSG tapes. Trust me, you DON'T want to see the original opening. Cheesy as hell.
