I have a few questions about Ghost in the Shell.

1) After watching the preview of GitS:SAC, I noticed Major Motoko Kusanagi's appearance. I have seen the movie so I was wondering: is the Major in GitS:SAC the child form she got in the end of the movie?

2) Does Batou have long hair in GitS:SAC?

3) Why does Kusanagi look about a billion times hotter in the manga than in the anime?

The events in the movie haven't taken place in the series. 3) Why does Kusanagi look about a billion times hotter in the manga than in the anime? between the GitS movie and Akira. that is because the same guy directed both of them. he also did Jin-Roh and he co-directed Metropolis. his name is Katsuhiro Otomo. you notice the style he likes taking in doing work as far as character design is concerned. the only real big exception to his style that i have seen was Metropolis...but then again he wasnt the character adaptation guy for that one.

if you look at Masamune Shirow's work you ussually notice the style very quickly...except when other people are doing his works ussually. i much prefer the manga version of Motoko Kusinagi to the anime variation...she is just so hot.

well director i may be off on but i know he was involved in all of those above mentioned...
