I know that the Cowboy Bebop and the Yu Yu Hakusho openings come attached to the episodes on ASA, but is Inu Yasha attached or is it seperate like the Toonami openings? The TV-14 thing comes on when the actual episode starts instead of at the begining of the opening theme. King Koopa also mentioned this.

I suspect if this is Viz's doing, they might only use "Change the World" as the opening for the US release and not air the alternate openings that appear in later episodes.
Viz has also tampered with Ranma 1/2 in the same way and has gotten many fans angry in the past.
Someone awhile ago mentioned on this board that the later opening and ending themes to the show are exclusively licensed by actual bands in Japan and would've had to been licensed seperately.
Let's just hope Viz doesn't pull another Ranma on us and rightfully airs the other openings and endings.
What do you think?

The Inu Yasha opening you see is the original, it's not a creation of America like the Toonami opening are. As a matter of fact, all ASA shows have original openings and endings...........except for Mobile Suit Gundam. :p

Well, it's been confirmed. CN didn't play the opening today. It's as if this is Toonami again. I know Yu Yu Hakusho and Bebop will both play their openings tonight, but I don't know if 0083 or OLS will.

For me, it's not too big a deal whether the openings play or not. I'm still hoping though that this is just a mess-up that will not happen again next week, instead of being a permanent thing, because it kind of screwed up the whole mood of the show for me.

Gundam 0083 and Outlaw Star are probaly permanent, but InuYasha's may return sometime. That's what I think.

It may have just been because of the LONG lookback on the last episode. If they don't spend so much time going over what happened last episode next week, the opening will probably return.

I hope you're right, even though I have a strong feeling you're not. :(

Why do people take one example from one show to justify the entire thing? There is ONE reason that THREE shows lost their openings. I can only find two possible reasons. One is that TOM is gonna host a block from 11-3 Saturday nights, the other is that they're too cheap and want more money from commercials, so they're cutting the openings. A longer Outlaw Star (which, BTW, was normal-length) doesn't justify 0083 or Inu-Yasha losing its opening. 0083 not having an opening on the first episode doesn't justify losing Inu-Yasha's or Outlaw Star's opening. A longer Inu-Yasha recap doesn't even justify losing its own opening, let alone two other shows.

Thankfully, Yu Yu Hakusho and Cowboy Bebop keep their openings, as they are the two best openings on the block. I kinda dread next week, though, as only Yu Yu Hakusho will have an OP, unless they get some sense and bring back Inu-Yasha, Gundam 0083, and Outlaw Star's.

On Gundam 0083 since it was originally an OVA the first part doesn't have the opening title sequence if you have seen the DVD or the video of the first four episodes all there is for the title is a white screen that says Mobile Suit Gundam 0083:Stardust Memory, I think Outlaw Star's Title sequence was dropped since it was originally on Toonami, or as with the last episode of Cowboy Bebop, all you see is the series logo on a black screen then the episode starts, Inu-Yasha, I thought it could have been a longer episode split into two parts I think I am wrong on that one,
I CLOSE SAYING: SAVE OUR OPENING TITLE SEQUENCES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear god, I hope not! That would mean the end of ASA for sure. That's the last thing we need.

On my recording of last night's Inu Yasha episode, the end clocked in one minute before it should have. Yu Yu Hakusho started a minute early, too. This is rediculous!

LOL! I'd love it if TOM hosted ASA, just to see everyone's extremely angry reaction. ...then I'd want it changed back.

I suggest if they don't bring back opening this Saturday to start emailing Adult Swim producers and petitions them, otherwise they will continue to do so with other shows and think that we actually like TOONAMI-like openings!
