okay, tonight Gundam 0083 starts over again and this will be the third run through, And myself I cannot stand to see the edited version of this show for the third time, I most likely won't watch it tonight, as well in two weeks Cowboy Bebop starts, what is this the fifth time around, and next week Outlaw Star second time around on ASA, even more if Toonami run is included.
So the question is, Who is tired of Re-runs and wants the new shows to air soon? Why can't they Take Gundam 0083 off and throw on Gundam Wing Unedited, it would be a sure way to bring in more ratings.

Heck if they wanted to improve ratings all they would have to do would be put 3 hours of DBZ on a night.

I don't really care. I just go do other things when reruns are on.

I'll still watch it because I would hate to get to doing something else and then forget about MSG and OS. Re-runs don't bother me too much. If 0083 had been on Toonami woooo...It would have ran like 20 times lol. It deserves a third run at least.

I'm gonna watching them, but only because I tape the whole block for archival purposes, or something like that.
Anyway, this third run of 0083 is going to be HELL. The first run I was abel to tolerate it, but the second one, ugh, too many dumb things and whatever. Whoever it was that suggested bringing in that 6 episode one in 0083's place, I'm still just SO for that. Even if it's terrible, at least it'd be something new (since I don't watch Toonami).
AS for the rest, Yu-Yu I'm just DREADING the reruns just because of teh whole Byakko stuff, Cowboy Bebop just never seems to get old, and Outlaw Star, ugh, I'm not into that show, but at least it's somewhat better than 0083, and eventhough MSG is kinda in reruns, it's all new to me, so that's something good I guess.

Hm..you're illegally airing AS without CN's expressed written consent aren't you?! ;)

I find it kind of funny that people absolutely abhor Byakko. I mean, he was only in like three episodes, and people say that they got tired of seeing him? Good thing these people never saw DBZ. You see, there's this character named Freeza...
I've been a Toonami fan for the last 4 years and Toonami takes the word rerun to the next level. I'm pretty much used to reruns, and by know you should be too.

I never get tired of this block even know if we do have to watch re-runs as I mentioned before, I haven't even Had Cartoon Network for a whole year yet(December 21st 1 year mark) and I was astounded by what they can get away with on Cable and thank CTN for having Adult Swim, two other notes
Gundam 0083 was an OVA that came out in 1991 and 1992
so that's the reason why some of the episodes ran so long if anyone cares, and in CTN's 60 second add for it's ten year mark Adult Swim images are in there, I believe that Cowboy Bebop had a very very short clip shown, and Sealab 2021 as well

Well, my whoel view of the Byakko thing was just that after, um, gah, whatever rock boy's name is, his battle was at least somewhat intresting, he had a cool voice, and it ended in a somewhat funny way. BYakkos' abttle though, ugh, it was like...
"I WILL KILL YOU"
"NO YOU WON'T! I"ll KILL YOU!"
"Lets see you do it!"
"OK! <kills Byakko>. Alright guys, lets go!"
"I"M NOT DEAD!"
"THen I'll kill you again!"
"Go ahead and try! <dies> oh...."
"HA! Lets go again!"
"I'm BACK again!"
"OH JUST DIE ALREADY! <kills him again> Lets! GO!"
"I am Mr. Ice Guy. Now you fight me."
"Fine. Lets go at it."
"NOT UNTIL YOU FIGHT ME AGAIN BECAUSE I'M AN ATTENTION HOG AND I'M LONELY!"
"Ugh. Shut up Tiger. <freeze and die> If you're dead, dont' say anything. Good."
"Mr Ice Guy?"
"What? <dies>"
"Now on to Suzaku."
OK, granted the Suzaku battle went on a little long, but at least that one was kinda intresting, what with seeing what was going on on Earth during it. And at least for me Kuwabara became the coolest character on the show with his Oingo Boingo poster :D
But really, if they cut down Byakko by one episode and gave another ep to that ice guy, then maybe it wouldn't have been so bad. He was jsut a boring enemy I thought. he didn't really do anything aside from standing around growling and laughing. Oh well, maybe I can just mute the thing and read while it's on or something.

Well, my main problem with reruns is that they don't have all the reruns in one clump. I mean, I haven't seen Inu-yasha, Mobile Suit Gundam or Outlaw Star tonight, but these shows are on opposite ends of the block. If they put these 3 shows at the beginning of the block I could just watch them and then shut off the TV and go out, but noooo, I'm forced to sit through an hour and a half of reruns to get to Mobile Suit Gundam. Actually, I'll probably just end up taping it. I mean, it's Saturday night? Who's dumb idea was it to put Adult Swim on Saturday Night anyway? I mean, most people over 18 go out on Saturdays.
By the way, I liked the Byakku fight. I thought the Suzaku fight was lame. I mean, okay, seriously, all his wounded parts combine to make one healed body. Now, if he seperates again shouldn't they all be wounded again!?! Now, if we establish the fact that he can heal as much as he wants even though it makes no sense, why the hell can't he heal his hair? Also, I liked how Byakku got pissed off whenever Kuwabara got a hit on him. I mean he was totally arrogant, so to see him get creamed and freak out was awesome. But, Suzaku, he just died in a big beam of light, I wanted to see Yusuke play around with him a bit more. Also, I wanted to see Yusuke torture that damn bird. It sucked that the bird died in a flash of light like Suzaku. I wanted to see that thing scream in pain!

Well, I just watch Inu Yasha, because it's the only show I haven't seen before. I will tune in as soon as new YYH and MSG come on. I'll also stick around for Big O and GITS:SAC when there are dates for them. I don't mind reruns, just as long as they eventually air new episodes.

Sure they are running 0083 again but it's only until they can get Big 0 2 up and running. Also, Outlaw Star will be replaced by Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. About Byakko, don't we have to go through Rando and his whole ordeal first and even then we don't see Byakko until a good bit into the Saint Beast saga. Or, are they going to skip a lot and show new episodes soon?

If only they'd show this block instead right now, the world would be perfect.
11:00 Inuyasha
11:30 GITS: SAC
12:00 Cowboy Bebop
12:30 Big O 2
1:00 Gundam Wing
1:30 Outlaw Star...but for god's sake, show Hot Springs Planet Tenrei!!! Do you hear me WS!?
The stars would realign and all would be good if this occurred, but alas it hasn't and I will drudge through reruns until GITS: SAC and Big O 2 come on (even though I never saw Big O (1) so I guess I'll have to jump in somehow).

It's ok with me. As long as there are shows I've never seen on the block before, I won't complain.
After next week, the only show I've never seen all the episodes of is Inuyasha ( :( ) although I wish Mobile Suit Gundam would restart (or have a mini-marathon) since I missed every episode. due to my horrbile BK experience. Heck, I would love to see Tenchi Universe since they showed Tenchi Muyo.

The Six-Episode Gundam Series is called "Gundam 0080". It takes place from 12/17/0079 to 1/1/0080, which are the last weeks of "The One Year War". At the start, we see this battle in an Artic Region for ten minutes, then it goes to Al, an 11 year old in Side Six (Riah). His next door neighbor is a federation officer (It's in the first episode, so I didn't put it in Spoiler), and during a Zeon attack on the Fed Base believed to be hidden in Riah, a Zaku crash lands in a forest, and Al follows it. He then meets Bernie, the pilot of the Zaku, and the series just goes on with the drama Gundam is known for, until a final battle, revealing who the battlers are, the location, and the point would ruin the series, so I'll keep my yap shut.

I think they should keep running Cowboy Bebop so new fans can discover it. I only started watching it a few months ago, & it's now my favorite series. I couldn't seem to catch Outlaw Star every week, so I bought the boxed-set. I also seem to miss Inu-Yasha, so I plan to buy the DVDs as soon as they start coming out.

PS--I'm not really into mecha, so Gundam is not my thing.

I want new episodes. REAL BAD. They should quit re-running YYH episodes and give us new ones. I'm sick of Inu-yusha being the only new thing on (but It is an excellent show). I don't like a full hour of Gundam either. One is enough, reshow Tenchi or something. Not to diss Gundam or anything, but I can't stand war shows/movies.

Yeah, I would also like to see new YYH episodes too. Will Outlaw Star restart next week, or is it replaced with something else?? Any chance of Tenchi Universe showing up?

I still question my self why did Mobile Suit Gundam get placed on ADult Swim since it was already on Toonami...They probably should have left Tenchi Muyo Alone

Ugh...why does everyone expect new episodes every week?!? I mean, the show's only in its second run, but everyone's acting like it's been on in reruns for years! Y'know, most people have to wait a full year before they get to see new episodes of their favorite shows. The last new episode we got was in July, and we're (supposedly) getting new episodes in November. Four months is pretty damn soon enough. Stop your whining.

The show was never finished on Toonami. It was yanked off before the final four episodes could be aired. It's the hope of many of the show's fans (myself included) that Cartoon Network will finally give the series a complete run.

Thank you for finally saying that, I'm glad someone here undersands new episodes aren't produced in a magic closet.
