Which show on ASA, at this point (or at any time pertaining to Pilot Candidate and 08th MS Team) is the best show on this block?

I know a lot of people will vote CB, so why change that. I'll start with that. Anyone else can chime in.

...what? Mobile Suit Gundam is on the block right now and 08th MS Team used to be on but is no longer. I specifically remember this because I used to watch Cowboy Bebop (which was on right before it at 11:30) before 08th MS Team, originally my favorite ASA show but now simply a memory. I don't know where you're getting these ideas.

8th MS Team never aired on Adult Swim. Perhaps you are referring to Gundam 0083?

Um, no. 08th MS Team NEVER aired on ASA. EVER. The only shows that have ever followed Bebop on ASA were Pilot Candidate (originally) and Gundam 0083 (after MSG joined). 08th MS Team DID air on the Toonami Midnight Run, but never on ASA.

Right now my favorite's Yu Yu Hakusho. Bebop, Inu-Yasha, and Outlaw Star are good, but YYH really has my attention now.

What belongs in 08th MS Team's place is Tenchi Muyo, which DID air and doesn't anymore.

Um..."08th MS Team" was never on ASA. It was on Toonami's Midnight Run, but never ASA.

Either that, or it's the only ASA show that everyone on this board refuses to talk about. I've watched ASA since the beginning, and all I know is that the following Toonami shows were on ASA:

"Outlaw Star"
"Tenchi Muyo!"
"Pilot Candidate"
"Gundam 0083"
"Mobile Suit Gundam"

I don't ever remember "08th MS Team".

At least I remembered it was on relatively late. The only chance I ever got to see 08th MS Team was during school vacation, and I wasn't fully aware of what was on.

Now that I think about it, yes, 0083 was the one on after CB. Dammit. Sorry guys.

A vote for 08th MS Team counts as Tenchi Muyo/Universe/ in Tokyo/ whatever one it was. I don't care.

Cowboy Bebop for right now. It's possible that Ghost in the Shell will change that. I don't know that it's likely- CB is a tough one to top- but it's possible. It's likewise possible that The Big O 2 will top it, if the new episodes are anything like the two-parter that ended the first season.

PC was easily the best. I mean, even Bebop didn't have the amazing CG sequences, though if it had, it'd be on top. Plus, PC had the best soundtrack EVER! I'd still be singing along if I hadn't forgotten the words and the tune and all that stuff that makes up a song during this PC drought.

I don't know how any of you could've voted for anything else when PC was so far superior to any ASA show. Of course, I would've voted for Hamtaro if it had made ASA.

I needed a choice like "some" or "more than one of the above" as for me it's currently an extremely close contest between Bebop, IY and Yu Yu. I figured Bebop would get most of the votes, so then I tossed a coin and ended up with IY. :D

Just the freshest and juiciest on the block right now.
The story and characters are really growing to me.

YYH's fine and all, however the episodes right now aren't the cream of the crop of YYH. The first eps all through the artifacts hunt are okay but you haven't seen nothing yet with the Yukina ep and tournament storyline.
Here's hopin' CN will get those new eps in soon...it might replace IY as now my most awaited ASA series.

I've seen CB so many times that now CB is just like Space Ghost.
However until I see the new series air, I think CB is fine where it is.

I voted for CB, but I also like mos of the other stuff on ASA pretty well and I can't wait for the new stuff :D

I'm going to say Inu Yasha. I would've gone with Cowboy Bebop but I saw it during ASC. Yu Yu Hakusho would've gotten it also if I would've seen some new episodes. bassist, I'm going to agree with you, Pilot Candidate is spectacular (i love catgirls ^^ ) and the mecha scenes were great. If only they continued the story...... Also, anyone know the name of that music they always played when they advertised the next curriculum. It was that creepy/cool piano music (my favortite music of the whole series).
