"Ghost in the Shell" interview

The following interview was done back in August, but it does gives an indication of just how much effort was put into making this series. What I found interesting is that usually in TV anime they only have 3 months from the time the project starts till it first shows up on TV. So they could start making "Big O 2" now and still premiere it on TV in three months time!

Wow. Here it's usually 6 months minimum, to sometimes an entire year.

Sounds like they really put a lot of time and thought into this series, which makes me very happy and certainly whets my appetite!
