I Found This Funny

I was watching the Spanish Dub of Dexter's Laboratory the other day. It was the episode where Dexter accidentally takes out a library book without checking it out.

You know the bit, where Dex has nighttmares, then he meets the devil and he says "Welcome Dexter, to Library....HECK!" then proceeds to laugh evilly.

Well in the Spanish dub of that scene, they actually had the balls to say "Hell". ("¡Bienvenidos a Infierno!")

Dunno what this means, but I found it funny that Spanish Dexter got away with someting English Dexter couldn't.

Actually, Infierno Means BOTH Heck AND Hell, So They Use That For Everything Involving That Place. People STILL Get Annoyed, Though...

Prehaps it depends on the context. Nobody seems to object to Dante's choice of title.

In the Mexican channels you can get away with far more than just "hell". In Mexico (assuming this ep. was from a Mexican channel) they are not that crazy about censorship. So any cartoon can easily be shown "uncut". (I mean anime as well)
