I'm glad everything that has been cancelled, has been cancelled. I'm going to miss Edward, Edward, and Edward, and especially Courage the not so Courageous Canine alot when they get cancelled though.

Really, I'm willing to give Sheep a second chance given it's Rocky and Bullwinkle stance. With all the witty puns and lines, it might be worthy of a second look.

I'm not keen on 2 Stupid Dogs. However, I would not mind seeing Super Secret Squirrel revived with his own series.

I'm keen on Johnny B but there are enough eps to rotate the series. However, he needs to be shown other than the 2 hour Friday block that is currently happening.

I agree. In the beginning, it was great (for me, anyway). Then it started to--how should I say this?--suck during the second season, because they let some of the worst writers in history work on the show. There were a lot of problems with the writing (blatant sexual jokes mixed in with kiddie humor*) and continuity (Cat suddenly falling in love with Shriek, one of the many people who beat him up on a daily basis? Was there any reason for this?). Ugh. Just ugh.

I'm glad it was cancelled, because it wasn't getting any better.

Anyway, a comeback show? Bring the Sheep back!

* Some shows conceal their innuendo rather well, but these guys just failed at it.

Based on the short, at least, I think that "Kitty Bobo" would make a great series. Likewise "Phish and Chip" (even though Butch Hartman is now doing "The Fairly Oddparents") and "Jeffrey Cat".

A few comments:

- That would definitely be something to see new episodes of "2 Stupid Dogs". I like that show.

- I don't think "Sheep in the Big City" is coming back, though it would be nice.

- Add me to the list of people who can't stand "CatDog". Granted, there are a couple of good episodes, but the rest are unbearable. Check out the episode where the boys go back to school. This is everything I hate about the show wrapped up in one rancid 11 minute package.

Johnny Bravo was cancelled? I didn't know that...its still on in Canada though, guess its repeats. And Ed Edd and Eddy is cancelled too? Damn.

Seriously, even though its not originally from CN, The Angry Beavers. That show wasn't even given a chance on Nickelodeon, and honestly, i think it would do alot better on Cartoon Network. Plus, i could just hear Daggett saying "Cartoon Cartoon!" :) *eh, what can i say, i'm a big Richard Horvitz fan. (hugs her zim plush)*

Oh, and of course, they really should bring back new episodes of I Am Weasel/Cow and Chicken. :D

Angry Beavers, and just about anything nick and wb has cancled in the last past five years.....animaniacs, tiny toons, pinky and the brain, ( not with elmyra) sheep, mik lue and ogg. edd ed and eddy, ....my list goes on and on...of course I just love cartoons...

Well Spongebob has at least some Cartoon Cartoon charm. Fariy Odd Parants could've been A great Cartoon Cartoon had Cartoon Network not turned it down. Angry Beavers wouldn't be too bad as A Cartoon Cartoon. I'd also love 2 Stupid Dogs (Along with Super Secret Secret Squrille) return as A Cartoon Cartoon.

Nick has a massive budget for shows. CN at this point (With Jack and JL in production.) does not have enough money to make Zim look anywhere near as good.

- Angry Beavers (either new episodes or CN could acquire the complete run from Gunther/Wahl Productions, including the episodes purposely skipped [particularly the last episode that explains the politics of Nickelodeon])

- Kitty Bobo (one of last year's best shorts, perhaps the best Cartoon Cartoon short of all time!)

- Low Brow (another good short that deserves a second run . . . a little action couldn't hurt!)

- Jeffrey Cat (Part Top Cat, part Super Snooper, another cool detective that's suited to be a part of the CCF family)

- Any classic HB comedy franchise, out of the hands of guys like John Krisfalucsi and in the hands of guys that could actually keep them close to the original models (or even the McCracken/Tartakofsky retro toon look), particularly Huckleberry Hound (he just screams revamp), Yogi Bear, Pixie and Dixie, Super Snooper and Blabber Mouse (probably pair this with Jeffrey Cat), Auggie Doggie and Doggie Daddy, and Quick Draw McGraw.

I know zim is expensive, and besides it's not like its gonna happen. I'm just dreaming... :rolleyes:

Angry Beavers. I always loved that show. But seriously, Nick never gave it a chance. It was on a 10:30 for about a year or 2 then it got moved up to 11:30. Season 3 was never announced or commercialized, and there was no more merchandising for them. It was still doing good until they did this. Nick had been airing the show about 2 times a week for over 3 years, and it had over 40 episodes. They never put it on much. Season 4 was shown in the last few months of it's existance. Nick put it on at 2:30 pm for about 4 months, so for 4 months it was on every day. That wasnt fair considering how long it had been around. So for some reason, crpa like CatDog still is shown in reruns and the beavers are 100% gone.
I heard someone say something about there being unairing episodes. Do tell!
