Have you checked TV GUIDE's systems- both sizes of magazine, their website, and Interactive Programming Guide? According to the magazines anyway, there are scheduled some (yuck!) "Scooby Feature Movies" in October Friday Nights, which will delay the "Cartoon Cartoon Fridays" block and trim it down at the same time with a month of "Courage the Cowardly Dog" and "Grim & Evil" eps!
Let's hope that the previous posting someone did concerning the "Cartoon Cartoon Fridays" October lineup is much more accurate than the TV GUIDE franchise! That would be a whole lot better than suffer through some lousy movies with those meddling kids and that stupid dog!
After all, Boomerang: The Channel is devoting their Fridays in October to those awful Scooby series! And after their best Spotlight Friday month which was devoted to the Greatest Character of All Time, Porky Pig!! How could Boomerang go from best to worst in Spotlight Friday month blocks in one week's time??!!
"Cartoon Cartoon Fridays" Update requested, if possible. :yakko: :bosko:

Relax, man.

Here are your choices.

1) A Scooby Movie every week, at a time where no new episodes would be playing.

2) 24 STRAIGHT HOURS OF SCOOBY.

CN decided to choose #1 this year. Be thankful.

And the Courage and Grim & Evil episodes are NEW. So I wouldn't call it "trimming down".

I think there's a reason for this: It's October, and there's one word associated with it: Halloween (10/31). And there are several words associated with Halloween: Witches, goblins, ghosts, Monsters, and Haunted Houses. And there's two words always associated with witches, goblins, ghosts, monsters, and Haunted Houses: Scooby-Doo.

Courage and Grim and Evil are also associated with Halloween, because Courage fights monsters, zombies, and all manner of weird creatures, and the "Grim" part of Grim and Evil is the "Spectre of Death" (a skeleton, also associated with Halloween). Therefore, Friday nights (at least for October) has some sort of "Ghosts and Ghouls"-type theme, to get everybody in the mood for Halloween.
