Very cool news. I wonder if Gednney is going to repeat the Dexter formula. A normal first season, a LONG second season, and then zippo.

I think CN is just airing episodes as they are produced. There doesn't seem to be any specific season.

The first selection of episodes only went up to episode 6, and then 7-9 were completed, and then 10-13 were completed.. then a long break and 14-20 were done, and now 20-30(or 33 or 36 or 40 or whatever the case may be) are done.

The interesting thing about airing by production is that it allows them to pick up on feedback about how well the show performs, and thus the show sort of shifts and shapes itself to peoples' liking. After the first 6 episodes aired, some people were hoping for more dialogue and humor, and they got such humor between episodes 10-13, especially #13. Fangirls wanted to see more of Jack's chest since he had done it once by that point, and so by 14-20, they got what they asked for. Of course this is all speculation. It could all very well be coincidence, but I doubt it.

I don't think there will be an actual season finale until, well, episode 52. That's how much the show was guaranteed. The only problem is that Genndy doesn't know how the show is going to end. So who knows if he'll ever figure it out.

Bleh...no new Jack episodes on YTV here in Canada...until like January. And thats prosuming they don't stop after the first season, and 1 episode every week.
