I'll have to try to hunt down a copy of that ish- Chris Cook *always* does a great job!

Ah, bless you, Sharklady! :D

I can tell you that on panel 5 of page 7, Bubbles' dialogue was taken out at the last minute. After Buttercup says "You want me to spell it out for you?", Bubbles says, "Blossom has to spell it out herself or the chain won't work!" I guess it was deemed too extraneous.

You're very welcome, PuffUncle!

And did you notice we've just produced something unprecedented on this board: *four* successive posts featuring Chris Cook-drawn artwork!
(Uh-oh; do you suppose it will bring bad luck to break that chain?)

Now all I have to do is track down my local comic book retailer :)

Afraid I broke the chain on my post, Sharklady. My avatar is a style guide picture of Bubbles, not drawn by me.

Really!

I'd have thought, if there was anyone around who could draw their own avatar...!

Allen's Nickname.

Heh heh. Mojo ranting about the mail system was classic.

By the way, I'm guessing that Chris well check this thread, and I was wondering, what model sheet are the pencils based off? Show first seasons, later seasons, or the movie?

(Oh, and Happy Birthday!)

Hi Chris :D

I noticed that your half of the comic (The chain mail story) was drawn in the movie style while Mr. Fuentes' (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) part of the comic was drawn in the old style. Do some of the comic artists not like the new designs or did CN just forget to send him the new model sheets?

Now, on with my review! Both stories were wonderful....Ummm, that's it. I'd write more, but I just got home from work and I'm too tired to think now :p

All artists are supposed to use the movie designs from here on in; it's not clear if Ricardo followed the movie style or the old style (his Mojo is certainly from the movie), but the ending "day is saved panel" is definitely from the movie.

(And thank you for the birthday wish, Spaz! If anyone is keeping useless statistics, I turned 46 yesterday. :D )
