Batman Beyond RPG (Continued in Part 2)

[Shriek]

We fly over the city of London. I move the batmobile through the city streets after turning on Stealth Mode.

Bruce hands me 100 american creds. Wayne exits from the Batmobile and books us a room at the finest hotel in London. The London Plaza. He walks into the building and vanishes from my sight.

I twist my wrists and blast off into the street. I pull the accelerator up and jet up into the air towards the ship yard.

"Computer, Call Mom!" I order. "Hey mom its me, Terry!"

"How are you? Where are you?" She asks frantically.

"It's all good mom. I'm in London with Mr. Wayne. He's training me in how to trade mutual stocks across a country. Is it alright? I know I should of asked you before. But there was so much happening."

"I....... Suppose. Just be careful. And don't talk to strangers. And Behave yourself," she orders to me.

"I love you mom."

"I love you too Terry." She cuts off the line.

I exit the batmobile. I take off the batsuit and throw it into my back pack. I strap it on and begin walking towards the city.

I see a cab in the distance and begin to wave it down. The taxi swerves in front of me.

"Hey where to?" The dark haired man asks. He reaches out a hand and introduces himself. "I'm Jim Duke."

"Hi. Terry McGinnis. I didn't take cab drivers to be so friendly."

"Well here in London things are different chum." He adds.

"I'm heading towards The London Plaza. Think you can take me there?"

He barks his question. "How much money do you have kid?"

"100 US Creds," I reply innocently.

"Get in!" He orders.

I hop in the car and we take off towards the hotel.

OCC: BB find us a room!

[Bird Boy]

IC (Wayne) :

Terry drops me off then boosts away into the air.

The headaches haven't completely stopped...but they aren't bad.

I walk up to the desk to reserve a room. A woman comes to help me.

I take the biggest room they have availible. She hands me the key.
"Room 206. Any baggage sir?"
"No..none today" I reply.
She nods and I go over into the lobby and take a seat, waiting for Terry.

END.

OOC:That was amazingly pathetic..lol. Oh well! You wanted me to find you a room..and I did.. :D

[Shriek]

The taxi cab boosts off and I'm hurdled back into my seat.

I stare out the window and look at all the scenery.

"What brings you to London, young friend?" The cab driver friendly asks.

What's with all the questions? Jeez man give me a break. I lie to him and say, "Well I'm on a highschool trip."

"Oh really? From what school?"

"Hamilton Hill High School. It's in Gotham City."

The cab driver nods his head and drops me off at the hotel.

I exit the cab and he hands me his card telling me to call him if I ever need him.

I walk into the hotel. "Wow!" Is all I manage to say. Golden chandellers hanging from the ceiling and golden railing everywhere.

I spot Wayne and walk over to him.

"I stashed the Batmobile and called my mom. I think it's time we find Dr. Smith."

[Trent Lane]

I wake up in a dark room with two Asian thugs standing over me.

"Well, he finally awakes," one said. "Shall we begin?"

At first, I didn't think this was going to go very good. Then I realized I had my suit on under my street clothes. I stood up and with my right hand, motioned them forward, in a cocky sort of way. They lunged toward me. I through the one over my shoulder with one hand and broke the other's nose with my other. I didn't want to kill them, even thought they would've killed me. Something inside me, a feeling of guilt for the lives I had taken or attempted to take, took over me. I felt changed, willing to do good. I left the beaten men and jetted out of the house. I saw the woman with the man's voice, Ra's, take off in a limo. I threw a tracer from my pack at the car and went to the garage for a HoverBike. I folowed the tracer to the New Tokyo Airport, where Ra's was boarding a small private jet. I jumped the fence and ran for the jet, using my stealth skills to the best of my abilities. I climbed into the landing gear compartment and the jet took off. I could barely hear the passengers, but I was able to pick up their destination and target: Bruce Wayne in London. Now that I know these men have lied to me, I know my task: I must save Wayne, at all costs. I'm becoming less of a heartless Ninja, and more of a Samuri...

[Blight]

ooc: Hey guys. I hope you're not pissed at this Shriek, but I want my memory back. Controling a stupid, idiotic lunatic that has no memory and is afraid of bats was fun at first, but now i've gotten bored. So i'm going to find a clever way to regain my memory! Not in this part, but later on, when the time is right. Meantime, i'm still a dope who has no memory of his life!:D By the way, if I'm sounding at all rude, then I'm very sorry, because I don't mean to be.

ic: When I awaken, I find myself in a small cell. It feels as if i'm moving. I look out the front window of my little box and discover that i'm being pushed toward a huge prison. I snarl in anger. I will not let this happen! I blast my way out of the little cell and grab two of the four guards that were pushing it. I throw them down the hill. They roll and roll and roll until they crash onto the sidewalk and stop moving. The remaining two guards pull out their guns. I grab one of them by the head and snap his neck. Then I snatch the weapon away from the last guard and blast him into a tree. I run down the hill until I come to a stop on the sidewalk. I look down at the two unmoving guards by my feet. Then I turn and look up at the buildings. I realize that i'm in a different place from where I was before. No matter. As long as the bat man and the ninja man are here too, I don't really care. Because I have a personal vendetta to settle with those two. And I will stop at nothing until I find them!

OOC: Can you just make sure you can't remember who Batman really is? But you can remember everything else.

OOC: Sure thing, Shriek. I'll find a way to regain my memory, but not every single bit of it. But why is it that you don't want me knowing who Batman is? It's not like i'm gonna tell everyone who you are or anything like that!:D

We arrived in London several hours after takeoff. It was already night here, and a layer of fog covered the city. We moved from the jet to a waiting limo, and drove into the city to find a place for the night. We found a seedy motel that would be suitable for one night. We walked in and went to get a room. There was a rather disgusting looking man behind the desk.

"Ello, wot can I do for you?" he said. "Need a room?"

"Yes," I said, in Talia's voice. "We'll need several."

"Well, then, let's get you folks signed in," he shoved a book in our direction and had us sign. I started to sign, when I noticed the man looking me over. "Is there a problem?" I asked.

"Uh, no, miss, no," he shot back in his chair. I slid the book back over to him.

"Good, because I'd hate for you to be found face down floating in the river," I replied. He drew back.

"Enjoy your s-s-stay," he stammered out. We went to our rooms and rested up in preparation to find Wayne.

[Shriek]

Wednesday. 10:40 P.M.

I pick up the phone and dial his number. The phone rings 4 times until a voice answers.

"HiLo, London's Finest at your service," the voice says.

It's a girl. Sounds like a pretty one also. Distracted by her voice I begin to stammer on, "I need to speak to Dr. Marvin Smith. Radiation Department please."

"Smith? Dr.? Radiation? Are you sure you have the right number?" The lady replies.

"Yes. 324-5546. Is this not Wayne Enterprises of London?" I ask dumbfoundedly.

The lady chuckles, "I'm sorry sir. That place burned down years ago."

That last sentence repeats itself over and over and over in my head. "Is their someone I can talk to there that knows about the new location?"

"No I'm sorry. The only thing I know is...." She pauses and begins again, "A Ninja, was said to have blown the place up while looking for files. It's all gossip."

"Ok thank you for your time." I disconnect the phone and walk over to Wayne. He still isn't laying down or sleeping. Stubborn old man.

"Wayne?"

"What is it?" He growls.

"Take it easy, I have bad news."

"Great? What kind?" He asks.

I begin, "Wayne Enterprises of London burned down years ago." I leave the part out about the Ninja since I don't belive it.

"Bruce? Bruce?" He stares out the window clutching his fist and not answering me.

[Trent Lane]

Wednesday 11:01 PM

I drop out of the landing gear compartment and run across the run way. I make it to a hanger and change out of my street clothes. I put on my mask and darted into the streets of London. It had been a while since I had been here. Many years back, my teacher brought me here. This is wear I was told Wayne was my enemy, never knowing that it was all lies. He torched a building that belonged to Wayne. A research department, I believe. He told me this was for my father, and the ultimate form of revenge would be Wayne's life. At the time, I soaked it all in, believed everything I heard. Now, my eyes have been opened and I see I was the fall man for Ra's al Ghul. He is a cunning man, but my blade will silence him forever. I jump from roof top to roof top looking for the limo when I see the Batman. I swoop down to inform him of the situation at hand, and to warn him of the danger Wayne is in...

ooc: Take it away, Shriek...

[Shriek]

I try to see what Wayne is looking for. I look out the window and notice the Ninja swooping downwards.

"Down!" I shout. I dive at Wayne, but he slaps me with his cane.

"He's not attacking. The formation is all off." Bruce tells me.

The Ninja opens the window. "Ra's Ah Gul is back! He's coming after you Wayne. You must get out of here."

"I thought he was dead? THe whole place caved in on the ma-- woman." Wayne's face stares out the window. I quickly look to see if he is coming.

"I shall stay here. I'm sure he doesn't want to kill me." Bruce says stubbornly.

"No we're not. We are finding Dr. Smith and getting you help. Then we are going after Ra's." I order him.

"Fine, fine. Let me collect my things." He returns to his bedroom.

The Ninja speaks, "Perhaps you should suit up. Big night ahead of us."

"I'm aware." I walk over to Wayne's bedroom. I peek open the door and realize he's gone. I won't interfere in what he's doing.

I walk to my door. Open it and throw on the batsuit. I walk out of the room and place the cowl over my head.

"Do you realize there was once 3 of these in my possesion?" I say as I point to my head.

"Where are the other ones?" He asks.

"Stalker. Won it from me. Not a bet. A battle. And he truly was the victor."

I walk over to the window and open it. I shoot a wrist grapple. "First thing we should do is?....."

[Trent Lane]

"First thing we should do is?....."

I look out the window and see two men on the roof opposite this hotel, setting up either a weapon or a viewing device. "We should find the fastest way possible out of this building," I replied, nodding my head toward the men. Batman slowly peers over and sees our enemy.

"All right," he said. "You lead, I'll grab Wayne." I shook my head and opened the door to find two other men lunging toward me.

"Batman, out the window! NOW!" I shouted as I started my assault on the thugs. I took out two gas pelets and jammed them into their faces. They exploded and caused the two to drop to the ground. Batman hit something on his belt and his car drove up to the balcony. I ran toward him.

"Meet me at the south hanger at the airport," I said. "I'll hold these guys of as much as I can." Batman shook his head, placed Wayne in the car, and took off. Just in time, too. The men on the roof shot a missle into the room. I jumped out the window as it entered in. A huge explosion went off. I was thrusted downward, I threw out a grappling hook, and swung to safety and landed on the street. I looked up and saw that Ra's had joined his men. His gun was pointed toward me. I tossed some gas balls toward the ground and disappeared into the alley. I run many blocks back to the hanger and find no sign of Wayne or Batman. Great. I sit down to catch my breath when the lights flicker on. Ra's walke dout of the shadows.

"My boy, you can run, but you can't hide," he said. "We've been listening to you the whole time. We put a mic in your ear while you were unconcious back in New Tokyo. You led us right to the Detective and then help him escape. You've been too much of a risk now that you know the truth. Now, I'll have to deal with you just as I did you father..."

[Mr. Obsession]

ooc: Stalker won? I'll have to quote you on that Shriek.

OOC: I'm having trouble figuring out what the heck is going on...flhero..do you have AIM/AOL? If so...let me know..Maybe we can talk and figure everything out...Shriek...well..whenever I talk to you next I'll try to get this stuff straigtened out in my head...

Terry puts me in the batmobile and then jumps in himself.

Terry looks at me "You should've made room for two"

"I hadn't planned on this happening"

"You seem like your planned for everything else"
"Shut up and drive" I tell him. I'm not feeling well...not in a mood to argue.

I look out the window (of what there is to look out) and see people firing at the hotel...right at my room.

"Terry! go into stealth mode!"

Too late, the same person fires at the batmobile and it contacts.

The back engine is hit and goes into a spiral.

Terry un-buckles, picks me up around the waste and jets out.

I hear a shot and Terry gets hit in the back by a laser blast. He drops me and starts to yell then is shot again and gets blasted several feet away from me.

I hit the ground with a crunching sound while Terry lands a second or two later.

I look around. We are near a airport..near a hanger.

I move around...and feel my leg scream in pain at me. I let out a slight moan and look over and Terry. He's not moving yet.....

"So Detective, I see that my gunmen are good shots"

I whip my head around to see Talia..no..Ra's.

"Ra's..." I say under my breath.

"It ends here Detective. I failed to transfer my body to yours, now...I will just simply kill you"

"Right" I reply

I slip a bat-a-rang out of my sleeve and throw it at Ra's, and it contacts w/ his hand, slicing it off.

He screams in pain and yells to his men. I feel a rush and then I'm picked up by Terry. He jets off into the sky. and lands on a nearby building top. He takes out a stealth button. He hands it to me and I put it in the palm of my hand, making myself seem invisible. He does the same w/ his suit and he picks me up again and boosts off with his 2nd pair of wings.

"What kind of bat-a-rang was that?" Terry asks, looking down at me
"Razor-edged. I could've sliced off his head if I wanted"

"What if he gets ahold of it?"

As soon as Terry asks that a explosion erupts from below.

"It detonates when it's in the wrong hands." I smirk as I say that.

Terry lands again. A mile or two away from where we encountered Ra's.

"Now then..we just have to find this Doctor..."

OOC: Don't worry FL...I didn't kill you....one of your henchmen picked up the bat-a-rang, you were just thrown back from the blast..unless you want to say otherwise... :)

Just as I pointed my gun at my... former employee, I heard shots outside. I put two of my men on the Ninja and went to see what the commotion was all about. The Batmobile was down and Bruce Wayne lay on the ground moaning.

"So Detective, I see that my gunmen are good shots." He moans somthing but I keep talking.

"It ends here Detective. I failed to transfer my body to yours, now...I will just simply kill you." I pull out my gun and point it at his head.

"Right," he mutters as he throws a batarang at me. It slices through my hand, taking it off. The boy grabs Wayne and they take off. One of my men went for the weapon and everything faded out in a flash of light...

ooc: Is he dead? Alive? Who knows? Tune in next time for the exciting conclusion!!!

[Blight]

I continue to trudge along the sidewalk and stare at the passing cars, but my mind is somewhere else. I struggle to remember something, anything at all, but my mind is a blank. Then I start to get mad. I feel like taking out my anger and fruturation on someone, and I know exactly who I want to take it out on. I must somehow lure the bat man and the ninja man to me. I remember that they came when I started causing trouble, so that is what i'm going to do now. I see a car aprroaching and blast it with my green light blasts. The car is knocked over. I jump in front of the car and pull the driver out through the front window. I toss the driver onto the ground and blast the car again, blowing it apart. Then I throw some green light balls, which I now figure must be radiation, and blow off the wall of a building. Pedestrians run away screaming as I throw radiation everywhere. I know it is only a matter of time before my two enemys show up. Suddenly, I notice a man dressed in black landing on the ground a few blocks away, and he is holding another man in his arms. I recognise him imediatley as the bat man. I quickly race ahead to the bat man, ready to fight.

Blight

[Shriek]

I lookup from the old man and stare into the distance. Blight! In London? This cannot be good. I fire to bolas from my wrists and they wrap around his arms and he falls back. ((See Betrayal. He used them to hold Big Time down))

I wish Wayne wasn't so old. He could be able to run away. I pick up the old man in my arms. Man is he heavy. I lift with my legs and grab him over my shoulder.

I start making the mad dash for the forest. I run with Wayne over my shoulder. He isn't as light as Dana. That's a fact. We reach a big hill. I set Wayne down.

"What's next?" He asks me. He motions his head upwards and I see a large tree branch.

I grapple around the branch. Grab Wayne into me. I activate my thrusters and jet up.

"My cane!" He realizes he has left the cane near Blight. I let Wayne hold the grapple.

I make a large leap from the line. I extend my wings and glide down to the ground near Blight.

Blight has been up for a few seconds now. He hurdles a burst of radiation at me and crushes my left wing. I lose control and spin around in circles and tackle Blight.

He steps to the left and avoids the blow. I crash into the ground. I slowly rise to my feet. I roll my eyes up to see that Wayne is cautiosly climbing down the tree.

I still don't understand what is so important about his cane. But anyways. I know he needs it. I dive for the wooden cane and grab it with my left hand as I push up on my right coming around forming a full roundhouse kick with my left leg connecting with his chest.

He stumbles back. "Fool! You shall pay." He tries to uppercut me, but I block it with the cane. I hear a crack. Nothing to serious though.

I realize the cane is made out of steel. Wayne truly is messed up. To avoid wasting more time I bash the cane over Blight's head.

I run with all my strength and dive on the wall. I activate my claws and clutch the wall. I start climbing to the top. Once I reach the top I launch Wayne's cane at him.

"Take it!" I shout as the ground begins to shake. I look 40 feet down and notice Blight sending out massive waves of radiation.

"This can't be good." The ground starts to crumble. The big piece of ground I am on shatters. The ground opens up from below me and swallows me. The rest becomes faded as rocks block the only passage out.

A rock comes crashing down on my shoulder and I am out.

OOC: Don't bother coming to get me Blight. I'll be gone for awhile in this cavern. But you can go after Wayne, but beware, THE CANE holds magical powers! MWWWUUUUAHHHH!! Just playin. Actually It's a nice weapon.

[Blight]

I stand up, my head still spinning from the blow to the head. Once my head clears, I realize that the bat man is gone. However, the old man that was with him is still here. He turns and glares at me, and I realize that he somehow looks familiar.

"What did you do to him, Derek?!" the old man shouts at me. I realize that that name is also familiar to me. I guess that must be my name. But wait a minute. That nurse in the hospital called me Blight. How can I have two names?

"Where is Batman?" the old man says. That name seems familiar to me too. I stare around me in shock, looking at the world in a new perspective, or perhaps an old perspective. Pieces of my memory are slowly coming back. I remember that my name is Derek Powers. I remember that the one called Batman turned me into the monster called Blight by throwing a canister of nerve gas at me. I remember that I wanted revenge. And I remember my son, Paxton Powers, I remember what he did to me. I remember everthing, except for how I lost my memory. I even remember the man in front of me, I remember he is Bruce Wayne, that I took over his company and turned it into Wayne/Powers.

Suddenly, Wayne knocks me upside the head with his cane and I fall to the floor. "Answer me!" he shouts. But I am not listening. All at once, my memorys come flooding back to me. Every single one. I remember who Batman is. He is Terry McGinnis, and I remember everthing that he has done to me. That energy beam that hit my brain must have been only temporary. Or maybe the radiation inside of me reacted extremly well to the beam, and eventually cancelled it out. That was probably what happened. It doesn't matter. All that matters, is that Blight is back!

I stand up and say to Wayne, "Thanks for restoring my memory old man" although I know that wasn't really what happened. I knock him to the ground. Then I put my foot on his chest and produce a ball of radiation in my hands, preparing to finish him off for good.

OOC: Bird_Boy, since you're the one who is probably going to post next, I have to ask you to please not cut off my hand or any other body part, kay? Cause you know, I need my hands to throw radiation at people!:D

[Bird Boy]

OOC: Dang...ah well..I'm out of bat-a-rangs anyway. ... :)

IC(Wayne):

Blight puts his foot on my chest, producing a ball of radiation. I pick up my cane and cover my mouth.

"What are you doing old man?" Blight says.

"This" I press a button on my cane and a tiny pellet falls out. Gas emerges from it, making Blight cough. He takes his foot off of me...covering his mouth, and taking a step back. I take my cane and whack him hard over the head with it. He falls down with a thud.

I go over to where Terry was standing. The ground is broken up here. He must've fallen down into a underneath cavern. I take out a tiny remote and press the button on it. Nothing happens. Why isn't this working?

Think Wayne..Think!

The thought then comes to me: The batmobile blew up..

I'm getting way too side-tracked. I look over at Blight..he's still laying on the ground. I look around. The hotel is just a few blocks from me..I need to go back there.

I arrive at the hotel 20minutes later. I walk up the steps to my room and open it up. I take out my Cell Phone and dial up Barbara's number.

"Hello?" she answers.

"Barbara. I need you to do me a favor"

"Hello Bruce. What do you need?"

"I need you to go to the batcave and turn on a new batmobile. My signal won't work here. I'll send the cordinates over the phone. "

I take out a little microchip on the desk, and put it in the phone.

"I have them now Bruce. I'll get right on it. Where's McGinnis?"

"Dead if I don't get the batmobile soon" I reply

"Right" Barbara replies, hanging up the phone.

I take out the microchip and put it back on the dresser.

I lay back down on the bed and wait for the batmobile. I hear a click on the window in the other room..then I hear sombody shut it. I pick up my cane and raise it.

The Ninja pops his head in, right as I'm about to lower it.

"Sorry to startle you Mr. Wayne. Where's the Batman?"

"Not here. He'll be dead soon if my ride doesn't get here."

The Ninja looks at me surprised.

I sit back down the bed..then I realize why I'm here..a stabbing pain in my right arm, then my forehead reminds me. I need a doctor...

END.

OOC: Those microchips that I used...lets just say they are in all hotel rooms..they are just locator chips....and..yeah..I made that up..lol.

[Trent Lane]

After the ambulances took Ra's away after the explosion, I came out of hiding in the hanger and thought of my next move. I decide to go back to the hotel where Wayne was staying, and see if there was some way to contact him and the boy to make sure they were okay. I opened the window, and was surprised to see Wayne in the room. I asked where Batman was and he said he'd be dead in a short matter of time. Then he writhed in pain. I went over to assist him, to see what I could do. He asked me to get his medicine off the chest of drawers. I did so, and got him a glass of water. He swallowed the pills and sat back down on the bed.

"Wayne, if you don't mind, I am going ahead to help Batman," I said. "You can meet up with us once your "ride" arrives." He nodded his head and told me where to start looking. I took off as he started to say something else, feeling that Batman was in great danger right now. I arrived in the wooded area to find Blight passed out on the ground. I saw the area of disturbed soil and took out a detonator. Very weak against humans, but strong enough to blow some of the dirt away. I bury it about six inches int o the ground and step back. I set it off and the ground spews out dirt. I look down in the whole and see the ears of the Batman sticking out. I dig furiously to get him out, and drag him up as soon as I got him loose. He took a deep breath. He was not awake, but he was breathing. I proceeded to take him away when a voice came from behind me.

"You... I know you." It was Blight. He was awake, but very shakey. He tried producing one of those radiation balls but he couldn't. He was still weakened.

"I do not wish to fight you," I said. "This man is injured, and he needs help. I'll be leaving now." I start to walk away when he grabs my shoulder. It burns like fire.

"No, you're staying here!" He throws me, and Batman falls to the ground. I flip back to my feet and draw out my sword.

"If you will not heed my warnings, I have no choice!" I run at Blight, sword drawn, but stop when I hear a humming sound in the sky. It's Wayne. Blight tries to toss a radiation ball at the vehicle, but I make a deep cut to his arm, and he looses his concentration. I jump over to the boy and put him in the Batmobile with Wayne. "You go ahead, I'll divert his attention."

They take off and I am alone with Blight. I put on my mask. "Let's end this!"

[Mr. Obsession]

"Dead if I don't get the Batmobile soon."

"Right", I reply and hang-up the phone

Even with our history I still owe Bruce favors. Even if I didn't I'd still help him out. I don't think I could live with myself if someone died because I did nothing. Maybe I got that from Dad, maybe from Bruce, or probably both.

It takes about 15 minutes to make it to the manor and I let myself in.

Ace is here, and he looks hungry. I take some time and search through the pantry. It takes awhile but I find some dog food.

While Ace gratefully chomps down on his food I head down to the cave to look for one of the spare Batmobiles. As I walk through the garage, past the rows of Bruce's antiques, right to the section of his more "personal" transportation.

"Which one to chose?"

I can see several of the standard model, and then there are the customs. I try to think of what Terry will be up against in London and I realize that Bruce didn't tell me much.

One of the models catches my eye. "Well, better safe than sorry" I say to no one. I vaguely remember Bruce started customizing this one right after Terry took up the cowl.

I'm about to start it on autopilot when I get an idea.

"ACE!"

It takes a minute, but he makes his way to the garage. After a brief struggle I manage to shove him into the cockpit.

"Sorry boy", I say as he looks at me. "I'd take you home but there's no room, and then there's Sam. So I hope you don't get car sick. Besides if Bruce wants to keep a pet he has to learn the responsibilities of owning one. Doesn't he boy?"

I engage the autopilot and watch the Batmobile take off.

ooc: There you go Bird_Boy, the Batmobile is on it's way and I'm sure you or Shriek can think of some good uses for it's custom features. :) And I'm sure you'll think of something to fun to do with Ace as well.

IC (Wayne):

I hear a hovering outside the window and get up to check what it is. It's the batmobile...the prototype too. I look over at it before getting it. It's definitly the mach 5 model...w/ deflector shields. Only a high-powered laser could rip though it..

My thoughts wander back to the Joker.

I immediatly snap out of it when I hear a barking. I open up the top of the batmobile and see Ace inside, wagging his tail at me.

I grin..I was wondering if I'd ever see him again. I get in the batmobile..which has seating for 4. I switch to cloak mode. I head over to where Terry was, un-cloaking the batmobile. Blight is still there. Ninja un-earthed Terry, but now he's going after Blight.

The ninja looks around at me and then picks up Terry and puts him back in the batmobile.

"You go ahead, I'll divert his attention." the Ninja says to me.

I nod and take off again. I look down at him and Blight. I have to do somthing..

I see Blight throw a radiation burst. It contacts with the Ninja and it throws him into a tree. I turn the batmobile around. I punch a code into the council and two long wires shoot out and connect with Blight. I then punch in a 2nd code, activating the electricity in them. I detach the wires, which land in front of the Ninja. He looks up at me and gets the idea, he grabs the wires and sends an extra bit of voltage into him.

I slam the controls down on the batmobile. We fly out of the park and are up above the city in minutes.

I look over at Terry who is now coming around. He's taken quite a beating.

"Computer" I say to the batmobile. This particular model has the bat-computer integrated into it. "Run a search for Dr. Smith."

It takes a few minutes but the computer displays upon the screen: "There are currently 7 Doctor Smith's residing in this part of London. Each specialize in a different field."

"Dr. Smith, Radiation" I reply to the computer

It erases what was on the screen before and replaces it with directions to the hospital he works in.

"Good..both of us can get treated..You need some civilian cloths though Terry"

He nods at me..he's still waking up.

I head back to the hotel and let ace jump in the window. He comes back out with a suitcase.

"You can change in the back, on the way there."

I cloak again and set the batmobile to head for the hospital.

I'm blasted against a tree by Blight. I shake my head and look up as Blight charges torward me, radiation building up in his hands. Suddenly, two wires shoot into his chest. Wayne had come back for the assist. A charge shot through the wires into Blight's chest. He screamed in pain as the electricity spread through him. The wires dropped from the Batmobile, and the shocks stopped, as Wayne pulled away. Blight fell to the ground, unconcious. This was my chance to get away. I went to the airport after changing clothes and decided to find a place to hide until everything was sorted out. As I headed down the main walkway, I saw Kim and his associates. They spotted me and drew their weapons. Crap, what have I gotten myself into?...

ooc: The whole world's after me, but I'll be sorting things out over the next few posts, along with the fate of Ra's al Ghul...

[Blight]

I watch from behind the bush as the people with the guns approach the ninja, who I can now remember. I am convinced now that all my memorys have returned.

I smile to myself. The ninja hadn't known when I started following him. I had tricked him into thinking I was unconcious and followed him to this airport. The truth was the electricity didn't even hurt that much, because radiation is hot, after all, and so is electricity, so it probably only powered me up even more.

Anyway, I can see that the ninja is outnumbered, so I decide to jump in and help him, because I will not let anyone kill him except me.

I jump in between the ninja and his attackers and blast one of them into a tree. I grab another one of them by the head and snap his neck. One of them pulls his gun and I grab it from him and slam it into his head. Another man approaches me and I fire the gun at him and several others. The ninja grabs the gun from me.

"What are you doing?

"Helping you, what do you think?" I reply.

"Why?

"Because, if I let these clowns kill you, then I won't get that victory".

"Fair enough" the Ninja says, nodding.

We both turn to the rest of the attackers and prepare to fight.

[Trent Lane]

Blight, of all people. Helping me agaunst Gotham's branch of the league of assasins. I don't like it, but it'll buy me some time. They concetrate their fire on Blight, and he forgets that I am beside him. I decide to slip off while Blight continues the fight. I take a cab back to the private hanger of the League and steal a one person mini-plane. I take off and go over the site of the airport. A huge green cloud hangs over it, most likely the result of Blight' radiation, and maybe his anger also. I punch in some coordinates into the control panel and start off for my next destination, where I'll regroup and get set for my next move, which will hopefully be one to a normal...

ooc: The Ninja's hidden for a while, but as soon as I devise a plan of action, he'll be back in a BIG way... I'm lookin' at you, Blight!!!

[Shriek]

I take off the batsuit. I place on my clothes. I am totaly cramped. There is no room in this batmobile and I am dead tired. I stare down to the ground below.

"We are almost there!" Wayne announces loudly.

I think he woke me up again. Out of my day sleep. MY daze as you would call it. "Ok good. Want me to drive?"

"Not in your condition Terry, It's to much of a risk." He hits the accelerator and we fly even faster.

"Nice pickup," I add.

OOC: Sorry this is short. Work has been rough.

[Blight]

Once I finish off the ninja's attackers (which was not an easy job)I realize that the ninja is gone. He hadn't even fought any of these guys! He had left them all to me so he could escape! I curse under my breath.

I hear the sounds of an engine and look up to see a small plane jetting away. The Ninja must be inside! I scream in rage as the plane jets off. By the time I finish my scream the Ninja is long gone. I have no idea where he is going, but I obviously can't get rid of him now. But I can still get rid of Batman! I turn and walk away from the airport. Wherever Batman is, I know I will find him. And when I do, I will crush him with all my rage!

[Trent Lane]

I wake up in a white room, a hospital room. There is a nurse sitting by my side. She notices that I am waking.

"Are you feeling well?" she asked. "You were pretty messed up when you got here. You've been out the whole night. Even through surgery."

Surgery? "What surgery?" I asked.

"Oh, well, we had to graft on a bionic hand since you apparently lost it in the blast," she replied. "Don't worry, though, it's alright. You should get some rest, ma'am."

I feel slightly weakened, but not so much that I can't leave this place. I grab the nurse by the neck and knock her out. I walk over to the closet and take out my clothes. I hurry and leave the room, quickly walking down the hallways. I decide to see if any of the league had survived and leave London now. In my present state, I was no match for the Batman or Wayne. I get a cab and go to the airport. It is a mad house. There had been some sort of explosion. From the dust and smoke a green man walked out. He was pure power. I could use this to my advantage. I run over to him, and in Talia's soft voice I started talking.

"Please, I have a deal to make with you," I say.

"Oh?! Tell me why I shouldn't just blast you here and now!" he yells back.

"I am the leader of the League of Assasians.I want the Batman, broken, beaten, dead," I reply. "I want Wayne dead. In return, I will get you whatever you want." He thought about it, and looked at me.

"Alright, here's what I want..."

ooc: Blight, you gotta wish, make it count...

I think for a long while, and then say to the woman, "Alright, here's what I wan't. I wan't you to give me a normal life. I hate Batman for what he has done to me, and I will agree to anything you say, as long as you can stabilize my condition and give me back my skin and a real life".

I take a deep breath and wait for my answer. The woman smiles and starts to speak......

ooc: There's my wish. And here's a piece of advice. Don't say no, because if you do, I will get very, VERY ANGRY:mad: !!!!!!!!!!! ;)

I look at the man and smile. I know how to give him his wish. "Do you have any relatives that would be wiiling to, how do you say, sacrafice themselves for you?" I ask.

"Maybe," he replies. "Why?"

"I can transfer your brain waves into their body," I answer back, still smiling.

"How do I know this will work?" he growls, becoming less happy.

"Becuase," I say in Talia's voice, then switch to my own, "I've done it myself."

He steps back in surprise, then smiles. "Well, my son, Paxton, is partly responsible for my present status as a criminal. I will force him to do this for me."

"Excellent," I reply. "Come, we must find the Detective and his boy and finally destroy them. What do you have in mind?"...

ooc: take 'er away, Blight!!!

"What do you have in mind?" the man/woman asks in his real voice.

I think for a moment, "I suggest we find a way to lure Batman and um, the "detective" to us. And then we can give them a nice surprise" I say, chuckling, "As long as you have everything we need ".

The man/woman smiles again and says, "Oh, I think I have everything we will need. Now, after we kill Batman and the detective, you will get wish. But I need to know where this son of yours is".

I nod and say, "He is in a prison back in Gotham. I don't know exactly where, but I assume someone with your resources will be able to find him".

The man/woman smiles yet again, "Of course" she says, "Now, here is the plan.....".

ooc: What's the plan? Let's make it nice and big, whatever it is! If you know what I mean by big.......:D

The Ninja

As I take off, I pass over the airport, and see Blight saking his fists in the air, then walking out toward the parking lot. He is approached by a woman- Ra's! The combination of those two cannot be good. I decide to re-route the mini plane and head for Gotham. Wayne and the boy are no doubt in serious danger...

Ra's al Ghul

"Of course" I say, "Now, here is the plan. I know the location of Wayne Manor."

His smile turns into a frown. "I think everyone on the east coast of America knows where Wayne Manor is. So what?"

"So," I reply, "I also know a secret entrance into the Batcave."

His smile returned. "Really?"

"Yes, I used it long ago to infiltrate the detective's lair when I kidnapped his serigate son," I say. "We can turn his cave into a giant trap."

"Yeah, I guess so," the man replies. "But we don't have much time. We need to get to Gotham now!"

"Agreed," I say. "I'll assume you have no luggage?" He shook his head no. "All right, follow me, we'll need to... 'borrow' a mode of transportation. Find a HoverCraft and we'll be on our way to Gotham..."

[Mr. Obsession]

Stalker

I stand in the middle of a training room stretching. A practice jab here, a few kicks there. "I'm still stiff."

"That's to be expected" Bennet sighs. "You just finished ten hours of surgery. Are you sure your ready?"

"Yes."

Bennet nods to a woman standing in a both overlooking the training room. She activates a control and floor panels move aside allowing five synthoids to rise.

"All right" Bennet says nodding at the woman again, "lets see what you can do. And remember they're not going to pull any punches."

The synthoids surround me taking up defensive stances around me. I motion for them to start. One to the right moves in swinging. I duck and spin with leg out, knocking it off it's feet. By the time it hits the ground I'm already in the air using the second's head a pole-vault landing behind the third. It's head lands on the ground, severed by a fast roundhouse kick. The fourth and fifth charge me at the same time. The fifth reaches me first, I grab it's arm and use it's own momentum to smash it in to the fourth -- hard. They hit the wall together and deactivate. I charge the second and start pounding on it's chest. As soon as the "guts" are exposed I rip out some wires deactivating it.

"Good. Deactivate number one." Bennet says and the last synthoid shuts down.

"I wasn't done yet."

"Yes you were. You provided a sample of what you can do now. And believe it or not I do have a budget to work with. Having you destroy every training synthoid I send at you is a waste."

"It was too easy. Couldn't you have at least given me a few units with better AI programming?"

"And that would have been an even bigger waste. Besides..."

"Sorry to bother you sir." A young redheaded man barges in to the room, out of breath.

"What is it?"

"It the commissioner. She's here and she upset. Very upset."

The door bursts open again, this time it's Commissioner Gordon and several of Gotham's finest. She stares at me than turns to Bennet.

"What the hell is going on here! Stalker is suppose to be in custody pending trail. What do you think you've been doing?"

Bennet smiles, pulls out a paper and hands it to Gordon. "I believe you'll find everything in order. As you can see I have a Federal order to take Stalker into my custody. It's out of you're hands now."

"I'm going to challenge this Bennet."

"Maybe, maybe not. I believe that you'll actually focus more attention on 'you're' streets than wasting time trying to change something you and I both know you can't."

"This isn't over" Gordon says, taking one last look at me and heads out of the room.

[Blight]

We walk around the airport, studying the differen't hangars, searching for a hovercraft. Part of me is still wondering who this woman, I mean man, is. But most of my mind is focused on getting back to Gotham. The man/woman points to a small hangar, "There". Inside the hangar is a small hovercraft, perfect for two. There are two guards standing next to the hovercraft. They will not be a problem.

We walk inside. My current partner draws a weapon and fires elecrtical energy at one of the guards, knocking him out. I grab the other guard by the neck and send surges of radiation through his body until he faints. I toss him away and me and the man/woman climb into the hovercraft. I jump in the back and he/she jumps in the front.

"By the way" he says as he starts the engine, "I believe if we are going to be partners, we should be properly intorduced. My name is Talia, or rather, Ra's".

I nod, "My name is Derek, or it used to be anyhow. My name is now, Blight".

We lift off the ground and into the sky, heading for Gotham.

OOC: Hey...uh..correct me if I'm wrong..but Blight knows the entrance to the cave too..right? He kidnapped Wayne and all of that..ripped off the grandfather clock...

And Terry and I (Wayne) are still in London..we haven't left Gotham yet..

ooc: Blight's memory has been in and out so much I wasn't sure whether he still knew the entrance or not. And I realize that Wayne and Terry are still in London, that's why these guys had to get a head start on the sabotage. All right, on with the story...

I arrive in Gotham and head for the library. I go to the computer and get on the net. I search for reports of stolen aircraft out of London and find that a HoverCraft was indeed stolen by Ra's and Blight. They were foolish enough not to get rid of the tracer on board, so I could trace their path. They were headed for Gotham, as I had feared. I left the library and started off for the police headquarters. I need to talk to someone in charge. I'm allowed to see the commissioner, but for only a few minutes. They let me in her office.

"So, what seems to be the problem?" she asks, gathering some files together.

"Ma'am, Gotham is in great danger, but more importantly, Bruce Wayne is in danger," I reply. She drops the files.

"What?!" she yells. "What do you mean Bruce is in trouble?"

I hesitate because I know he wouldn't want his secret thrown around. "Two men who were after him- and me- in London are on there way to Gotham to most likely kill him and his boy that helps him. Here, this is the trace on the HoverCraft they stole." I hand here a Vid Disk. She looks at it and looks back at me.

"Who are these people?" she asks.

"Blight and Ra's al Ghul," I reply. Her face drops.

"We are in troube," she mumbles. "look, how did you get all this information? Who are you?"

I pull my mask out of my bag and show her. "I am the Ninja. I helped Wayne and his boy escape Blight when they we cornered. I will do all I can to help, but as you already know, I won't be enough."

"You're right," she replies. "I'm gonna need to call in some back up..."

ooc: All right, Mr. O, you decide the back ups...

I look at the man. "Thank you for you assistance, but I think I should let you know. I may not have all the evidence I need -- yet -- but what I have points to you breaking into a restricted area, recording a conversation with Stalker, and then sending it to my department in such a way that it was leaked to the media. So for the time being I recommend that suggest you lie low and stay out of trouble in Gotham, just so I don't have anything else to use against you. I highly doubt you'd like the cell you'd be confined in."

He looks a little shocked, I doubt he was expecting this.

"Oh and Warhawk is still in town and I somehow doubt that you two have patched up you're differences. And..." I let my voice trail off as I pick up a small device and push a button. "... I believe he will be here in about five minutes."


ooc: Bird_Boy, feel free to do whatever you want to do with Warhawk, right now I'd rather focus on BG and Stalker.

OOC: Hey Flhero, I just wanted to assure you that all of Blight's memorys have returned and he does indeed remember the entrance to the Batcave. I actually assumed you meant a secret entrance other than the clock entrance, but I guess not. By the way, I just wanted to let you guys know that i've come up with a good story (in my opinion anyhow) for The Joker to return, and i'll post my first Joker post as soon as the whole Ra's thing is over.

ooc: Blight, I was talking about a totally different entrance, one on the shores below Wayne Manor, it's mentioned in B&RA 12 that ManBat had found another way into the cave and was hiding there, so that's the one I'm using...

I take the commisioner's words to heart, and tell her that due to the lies I had been fed since my youth, I was after Bruce Wayne, but when Batman and Ra's opened my eyes to what was really going on, I changed my ways. She looked at me, half believing, and turned around to pick up some dropped papers. Warhawk arrived at the window. When he saw me and the mask in my hand, he darted for me.

"You again?!" he shouted. "You didn't have enough the first go 'round?!" He tackled me, pinning me to the ground, and raised his fist.

"Warhawk!" the commissioner yelled. "Stop it!"

"What, isn't this wannabe what you called me for?" he asked, puzzled.

"No," she replied, rubbing her nose. "He's going to need your help. Ra's al Ghul and Blight have apparently formed an alliance, so for the time being, so will you two. Got it, or do I have to call Green Lantern or one of you're other Justice League buddies?"

"Nah, no need," he replied. "Anyways, him, Supes, and Barda are out of the universe at the moment. I think I can help this... guy." He cracks a smile, looks over at me and speaks. "All right, what's the situation?"

"At the present moment, I'm not sure," I speak up. "But Bruce Wayne and his helper boy were being attacked by the both of them in London. At last I checked, they were both seeking hospital attention, but nothing serious. Ra's and Blight must have some plan for coming here, but I can't imagine what."

"Okay, you can drop the act with me," Warhawk replied. I wondered what he meant.

"What?" I replied.

"I know who Bruce was and who his "help" is, you don't have to speak in some code to protect their identity. Even the commish knows who they are," he said as she shook her head agreeing. "Now, where is our happy couple?"

I go to the computer by the commisioner, and pull up the plane's coordinates. It has landed. "It's north of the city, by the coast," I announce. She looks at the screen and her face drops.

"They're just a few miles from Wayne Manor..."

[Blight]

OOC: Ah, I see. So I was right about the entrance thing after all! Well anyway, It looks like me and Ra's have finally landed, and our surprise is about to be set........

"Two weeks?" I ask again. This cannot be happening.

"Yes Terry. Two Weeks. The radiation has interfered with a large brain stem in my head. Dr. Smith has to go in with MRI's and scapels." Bruce replies.

The Dr. then adds, "You act like you have to be with Mr. Wayne. He'll be fine in our hands."

"That's good coming from someone who hides underground in a secret labratory." I shoot back.

Bruce gives me an evil look. I look into his eyes and suddenly feel worse about myself. "Ace."

The dogs pokes up from his nap. "Your staying here with Bruce. I've got to attend to things in Gotham."

I walk away. I walk into the elevator and rise above the ground. I walk out of the phone booth and down the dark alley. I open the cock pit to the batmobile. I hop in and close it.

I change into the bat suit. I activate the engines and take off towards Gotham.

OOC: Once I know what's going on with everyone. I'll post what happens when I return.

All Right! here we go..:

IC (warhawk):

The commisioner looks at the screen and her face falls...."They're just a few miles from Wayne Manor..." she says.

I look over at the Ninja punk.

"I think we can take whoever is there" I say.

I look back at the Ninja as he puts on his mask. "Lets go" he says.

I jump out the window, falling a couple of feet before releasing my wings. The wind rushes up from underneath and flings me upward.

I dunno where Wayne lives, but, it shouldn't be hard to find..it's supposed to be a big mansion...

I hit the jets on my boots and go up higher into the sky, over most of the buildings.

I servey the area.

"what are you doing up there?" I hear a voice come from below. It's the Ninja. He's fast.

"Look for the manor" I reply.

"I know the way. Follow me" He says.

"I see it now. I'll meet you there" I reply

I flip on the jets and I'm thrown forward. I put on my extra armor and hit the secondary jets, going faster. I'm at the manor in a matter of seconds. I land on the roof and look around.

"Now where did Supes say the entrance to the cave is..." I ask outloud.

I look over the back of the house and see a plane docked nearby. Must be what's-his-name. I don't see anybody. Ones supposed to be glowing green..he shouldn't be too hard to find. I jump down. And somebody snaps a twig behind me. I whirl around getting ready to shoot at him with the lenses in my eyes.

It's the Ninja.

"Took you awhile" I say to him, in a low voice.

He doesn't reply.

I look around and see a hole in the side of the rocks..hard to see, but it's there. I jump down and enter it. I crawl for awhile. I hear voices ahead.

I walk a bit faster as I see light. There isn't anybody ahead. They must be in the cave already. I'm going to make this quick..

I hit the jets on the boots and fly forward. I eject my wings and fly backwards for a bit. Surveying the area. The dude named "Blight" is there looking at me. There is only a lady standing next to him. She can't be Ra's...

The Ninja bolts out of no where, tackling the lady. She must be our man...or woman. With the way science is going these days, I wouldn't be surprised if Blight was a girl.

Blight heads towards the Ninja, letting balls of radiation form in his hands. I flip the lens over my eye and shoot out a thin laser, letting it hit Blights arm. He feels the laser and looks up at me.

He throws a ball of radiation up at me. I bolt behind a stalagtite. I grab it with my claws. Blight hurls some radition up at the stalagtie next to me, making it break into several big pieces. It falls down and rattles the cave. I jump down from my pillar, taking Blight by surprise.

I slam my fist into his face. Making him fly backwards, knocking the woman off of the top of the Ninja. The both hit the computer with a thud.

The Ninja flips up and lands right next to me. He drops into a fighting stance. I put on my exo-suit. This could get messy.

OOC: I'll let Blight and Ra's fight in the next post..I suppose we'll take turns posting a bit of the fight.....

The man in the armor, I believe he's Warhawk, throws Blight into me off of the Ninja who I was taking care of. We hit a computer and stagger up. I look and see the Ninja get into a fighting stance while Warhawk sheds a new layer of armor. The Ninja taps something on his wrist and clinches his fists. Must be some sort of strength amplifier. I get up and start to draw my gun, but Blight starts hurling radiation at them. I see this as an opportunity to slip away, but the Ninja blocks my escape. I pull my gun on him, but he kicks it out of my hand. Then he grabs me by my shoulders and pins me against the wall.

"I should kill you," he says. "But I'd rather see you rot in a cell."

"You're beginning to sound like the Batman," I reply. "Don't tell me our "Ninja" has gone good on the League? You will surely die for this insult!" I pull a tazor out of my pocket and bury it in his side. He yells out and falls to the ground, I a daze. I grab my gun and again point it at his head. "It was a good effort, but you can never defeat the League of Assassins!" As I begin to pull the trigger, a loud humming sound boomed from another part of the cave. It was the Batmobile...

[Shriek]

I make my approach into the cave. The Batmobile clunks and rattles as I pull it into the Batmobile hangar.

"I knew Mach 5 was to fast." I push the button and the top detaches. I climb out of the batmobile. I begin to stretch as I raise my hands above my head.

I walk out of the hangar into the cave. A hear a hum. That hum could only come from a Destroyer 432. A gun said to be destroyed years ago.

"Turn around boy," A man says. "Very slowly."

The voice is Ra's Ah Gul. I do as he says and turn around very slowly. I look him in the eye.

I glance to the left and notice Warhawk laying on the ground. "How you doing?" I ask sarcasticaly.

"Stupid rookie. You had to show up now. I had it all under control. Stupid kid." Warhawk snaps.

"Silence! Both of you!" She yells in Talia's voice. She points the gun to my chest and fires.

It's only a enough of a blast to knock me to the ground. Thank god for the suit or I would be dead. "Come on!" I cry, "That hurts."

Warhawk smirks.

"Since you won't be living. I guess I'll have to tell you my plans." Talia begins.

[Blight]

I grab Warhawk by the head and slam him into a case with an old Batman costume inside. Then I kick him upside the head and start throwing radiation balls at him. He is slammed into the ground. I notice he is standing on one of the traps me and Ra's had managed to set before he and the Ninja had busted in. I press a button on the switch Ra's had given me and the ground explodes under Warhawk. The explosion slams him into a wall.

That's when I notice that Batman has entered, and Ra's is pointing a gun at him. "No!" I scream and blast Ra's away, "I will not let you take my vengence away from me!" I grab McGinnis and pin him to the wall, "Guess what, McGinnis" I sneer at him, "I'm not afraid of giant bats anymore!" I laugh as Batman's eyes widen in horror. I slam my fist into his face. I pull him up inches away from my face, "This ends now!" I say as radiation starts to build up inside of me.

I get up, still a little shakey after that walking biohazard knocked me over. I knew I couldn't do what I had originally planned now that the boy was already here.

"I've tried so many other plans so far, and either you or that bumbling Ninja has screwed them up," I begin. "Even the plan I had in mind this time is of no use: but now I end it all- for ALL of us!"

Blight drops the Batman, who slumps by the wall, and runs past the tied-up Ninja and Warhawk. "Whoa!" he yelled. "That's not the plan I was aware of. What are you doing?!"

"Sorry, Blight, but this is how it ends," I reply. I pull out a detonator. "This little thing is capable of leveling a four block section of a city, so I'm sure the cave will fair no better." I start to press the activation button, but Blight grabs it from me.

"NO!!!" he screams. "You promised me a better life! Not death! I want the Batman dead at any cost, but not by sacrificing myself!"

"Fool! No one defies me and lives!" I pull out a my gun with a special lead bullet and fire. It penetrates Blight and he drops to his knees. He gasps for air as he drops the detonator. I go to grab it, but get a kick to the head by Batman.

"You monster!" he yells. He lands another kick to my mid section. I roll over in pain. Batman flicks a batarang toward the tied up Warhawk and Ninja and frees them. During that split second, I rech over and grab the detonator.

"You have lost, boy!"

ooc: I made the assumption that WH was down after his tussle with Blight, and the Ninja was KO'd by Ra's (I should've mentioned he was pistol whipped). My post was to follow Shriek, but Blight posted as I was writing also. We'll just need to decide on which post we pick up after. Open to suggestions...

ic: "You have lost, boy!" says Talia/Ra's. The pain in my chest is extreme, but not enough to keep me from stopping that vile creature! Even I am stunned by what he is doing. "No!" I scream as I leap for Ra's. I grab his arms and pull them behind his back. I throw him into a case with a strange armored costume with bug eyes and wings. The detonator falls to the floor and I grab it. Batman leaps at me, spin kicks me in mid-air and grabs the detonator.

"You can have the detonator!" I scream at McGinnis, "Just don't let Ra's get it!". Batman doesn't seem to hear me. He raises his fist and I grab it, "Listen to me, McGinnis, we can't just keep fighting amongst each other. We have to keep Ra's from getting that detonator at all costs, are you with me?" I ask him. Batman stares at me for a long time, then starts to respond.....

ooc: Take it, Shriek! This could be big!

[Shriek]

"Do you hear me McGinnis?"

"The name's Batman," I say darkly. I flip up in the air and land next to Ra's. I back hand Talia and her nose begins to bleed. I almost feel bad for her.

Then she knees me in the balls. Almost feel bad for her. I headbutt her repeatedly. I push her back into the Harley Costume and the case shatters.

She is covered in broken class and bleeding consistently. She rises from the broken glass with a walkie talkie. "Back up. In the cave. Immediately!"

I stare to the unconsious WarHawk. I dive towards him. I begin slapping him in the face. "GET UP! GET UP! We've Got Trouble!"

The humming of several engines begin to fill the batcave. About 5 hovercarts carrying 4 passengers each emerge from the darkness with heavy weapons.

20 to 2. Well 3 if Blight helps. I will still rip his heart out if he helps. I crush the detonator in my hands.

I flip backwards. I look around the cave carefully. I have found my weapons.

[Bird Boy]

IC (warhawk):

I'm walking around. There is nobody around the JLU center. I wonder where they are?

I hear sombody yelling "GET UP! GET UP! We've Got Trouble!"..then my face starts to sting.

My eyes open up into reality. I see the cave ceiling and move myself up off of the floor. I shake my head a couple times, bringing everything into focus.

I look around and see Batman flip up in the air. I see 5 hovercrafts. I slip into a dark corner. I make my way to the glass case, and reach in. I rip off of the cloaker off of the bat-suit. Hopefully this works. I put it down on my belt and connect a few wires. I hear fiz and it connects. I turn the knob and turn invisible.

I jump on top of the case of suits and walk along it. I survey the area. Not much time to make my move. The hovercrafts are in position. They could blow this house up in a matter of seconds. I look down at where the hover crafts are at. There is plenty of memorbilia that the old man probably wants....screw the memorbilia. I'm sure he'd rather have the cave than that old crap.

I flip over a lense on my eye, and focus on the ground. I shoot out a beam and it cracks through the ground, slicing it off from the rest. I watch 2 of the tanks fall, but my focus is broken by a hard hit behind my head. I fall forward, and the cloak de-activates. I look over and see a couple of men. They infiltrated the house.

They have a visor over their eye. Must've been how they saw me.

I flick my wrist forward and my glove growns longer. I swing my feet up, letting them reach the mans chin, then throwing him forward with my feet. I grab his gun. I hit the other guard with it.

I look down at the gun and switch the setting to "Stun". I don't want to kill them..

I run up the steps and begin firing rapidly at the oncoming men. The gun starts to over-heat and explodes, sending me backward. I have to keep these guys from entering the cave. I get back up and see 4-5 of them gawking at the site of the cave. I take their dumbfounded-ness to my advantage. I hit the jets on my boots and fly forward. I hit them in the gut, sending each one backwards. I hit another twenty on my way up the steps.

They're all knocked out by the time I switch the jets off. I take a quick glance up into the house. No more to be seen. I run back down the steps and enter the cave again. Batman's flying around now, throwing bat-a-rangs and the men. This isn't working.

I see one of the tanks warming up. It's getting ready to fire at the ceiling. I jet up towards batman and take a fresh bat-a-rang out of his hands.

"HEY!" he yells at me.

I crumble it in my hands, forming a tiny ball. I stop in mid air and throw the deformed bat-a-rang into the gun hole. I take out a tiny pellet and put it down the shaft as well. The pellet releases a tiny shield, capable of stopping a shot twice the size of what this tank can send. Unfortunantly, it only lasts for a couple of seconds. All I need.

The tank fires as the shield forms and the cannon explodes. The tank is thrown backward and falls off the edge. It falls down into the depths.

Still 2 more tanks to go. I look back and see a blast usher from one of the tanks. It hits the ceiling and thousands of pieces of rocks fall from the ceiling. I jet out of the way and land in front of the tank. I jump in front of the tank that fired. I twirl it's cannon over to the other tank and straigten it out. Just in time.

Another shot fires out of the tank before they can stop it. It connects with the other tank and blows it out of the cave, back down from where it came. I watch it fall off the cliff and out of site.

The tank I'm holding regains control and points its blaster at my chest. It fires and I'm thrown backward. I connect with the cave wall, then slide down into the depths of the cave.

END.

OOC: PHEW! that was long...well...it took awhile to type anyway...I figured I'd leave one tank for you to handle Shriek.. :)

Out of the corner of my eye I can see the remaining tank blast Warhawk away. Batman flys over to it and starts slashing at it with the claws that just extended from his gloves. I jump in next to him, "I'm helping you with this one, McGinnis" I say as I start to blast the tank with radiation balls. "What did I tell you about calling me that?" McGinnis yells at me.

As me and Batman try to destroy the tank, I suddenly hear laughter from behind me. I turn around to where Ra's is standing with about one hundred men behind him. One of his men hands him a weapon that looks like a bazooka. "You have lost. My time of triumph is at hand!" he says as he points the weapon at the cave ceiling. I realize with horror that he is going to blast the ceiling. The cave is going to colapse!

[Shriek]

It's all going to be gone. I grab Blight and pick him up over my head. I throw him into the crowd.

Ra's/Talia shoots the cavern ceiling 2 times. I make a mad dash for the ledge and jump.

I freefall for what seems to be about hours. I extend my wings and activate the thrusters.

I boost down towards the underground river and I spot Warhawk hit the water.

"NOO!!!!" I feel the cavern shake everywhere. I'm not worried about the batcave anymore.

I burst through the surface into the cold water. My mouthpiece activates and I can breath again.

Before I manage to swim the current sweeps me away towards Warhawk. I see WarHawk's helmet close in around his face.

I can tell he is breathing as well. That's good. Now the only thing I have to worry about is getting out of here.

I know the mansion will not be destroyed. Bruce told me that there is a layer of solid steel separating the cave and the house.

I activate the jets as well WarHawk also does. The both of us jet through the water under cavern walls completely out of site from the world.

Fifteen minutes we emerge in Gotham's Main Sewage System. We both climb up the ladder onto the ground.

WarHawk makes a face at the crappy sewer.

"We escaped!" I say.

[Trent Lane]

I wake up out of my stupor just in time to see Ra's fire at the ceiling. Two direct hits, no real damage. While he is distracted, I get up, draw my sword, and charge him.

"THIS IS FOR MY FATHER!" I yell as I slice him through his middle. He gasps, and grabs his waist. "No, not this wa-" He fell in two and died on the spot. His men, masked of course, became sheep without a shepard. None of them knew what to do. They pushed a button on their visors and a rush of gas came from the visors. They all fell to the ground. I took of the mask of one man. He was dead, as were the rest, I guessed. A mass suicide because of the loss of their leader. I didn't know where the Batman and Warhawk were, but I knew I had to find them and hoped they weren't already dead...

ooc: So end's Ra's al Ghul and the majority of the League of Assassains. A corny ending, maybe, but an ending at that. Now to find Batman and Warhawk and finish up the Ninja's story...

[Shriek]

Just so you know. The cave is collapsing and everything is getting destroyed.

ooc: Okay, I wasn't up on that, but whatever works for you guys...

IC: I look up from the ground, dazed. I can see literally hundreds of bodys. And in the middle of it all, is Ra's Al Ghul. His body is split in half, an expression of surprise frozen on his face. "Serves you right, you piece of crap!" I yell at the body.

That's when I realize that there are heavy pieces of rock falling to the floor. The cave is colapsing! I notice that the Ninja is running up the stairs into the mansion. He starts slashing at the steel door, but to no avail.

I jump up beside him and knock him out of the way. I quickly blast open the door with all the power I can muster. I run up into the mansion, with the Ninja following close behind. When we get to the top, I hear a crashing sound and then silence. The cave is destroyed.

I turn to face the Ninja, "Let's finish this!". The Ninja glares at me, "Not now" he says as he kicks me into Wayne's chair. Then he jumps out the front door. I decide not to follow him. I'm tired from the battle inside and need a rest. Still, there's no point in staying here.

I walk out the fron't door and I can see that the Ninja is, of course, gone. I walk down the stairs to the gates, thinking. Batman and the others made their escape this time, but next time it will be differen't. Next time, I will have my revenge! That is, after I take a nice long rest........

OOC: Hey guys, I though I should inform you that Blight is going to be taking a little rest. But do not worry, because my next post will be as the one and only JOKER! And after i've used The Joker for a while, I will bring Blight back into it. But for now, he's going on a little vacation.

IC (Warhawk):

Bats and I exit through the sewer pipe. Smells like sh-

"Wayne is gonna be so ticked.."McGinnis says.

"Eh...don't worry about it. I'm sure he'll be ok..it's not like he didn't make a back-up of the bat-computer."

"Yeah..there's one in the new batmo----...Oh geesh.that was demolished too"

"Well Junior...what now?" I say to him

"Dunno..."

I look around. My helmet begins to ring and I touch the side of it.

"Warhawk? Where are you?"

"Hey Barda. I'm in Gotham helping the rookie out"

"The JLU computer went off saying the bat-cave collapsed. That's not true..is it?"

"Yeah..it is.."

There is silence on the other end.

"Do you need any help at all?"

"Nope..we've got it covered. Warhawk out" I let go of my visor and look back at Batman.

"Everything in the cave...gone" he mutters under his breath.

"C'mon..lets go back to the manor, see what's left in the cave..if we can even get into it." I open up my wings and jet off. Batman follows suit and jets up behind me.

We land back at the manor and shut the door. Batman slumps down in the chair and takes off his mask.

I make my way down into the cave and McGinnis looks at me in a "aw geesh..do we have to go down there already?" type of way. He gets back up and heads down with me.

Nothing but rubble down here. The batcomputer is fizzing over in the corner. We can barely move around.

"First" I say "We need to get these stalagmites out of the way. Then we'll be able to move around".

McGinnis nods and puts his mask back on. He takes out a bat-a-rang.

"That's not gonna work" I say to him.

"This one will..it's edges are lazor-enhanced. Ever seen Curare's sword?" Batman throws it down into the rubble and it slices through 8 of the stalagmites with ease and returns to him. "Just like a knife through butter" He says with a smile.

I jump on top of the stalagmites and carry them over to the edge and throw them down into the depths.

After an hour we manage to clear all but one of the stalagmites out. We have to cut it in 3 pieces.

"What's the body count up to?" I say.

Batman pics up another man from underneath one of the rocks.

"99"

I shake my head. I move the boulder and underneath is a body...or parts of it anyway.

"Ra's didn't get away.."I say

"How do you know?"

"Because his/her body is right here." I motion down under the rock where two parts of his/her body lies.

"Somthing sliced it in half...these stalagmites didn't do it"

Batman goes over and picks up the two pieces of body and lays them down to the next of them.

I throw the remaing stalagmite over the edge. I hear a shatter which tells me it was broken into thousands of pieces by the fall. They'll all get thrown into the sewer...thousands of tiny rocks.

McGinnis goes over and checks out the Batmobile.

"Woah..only a few scratches. Must be made out of a heavy strong steel.."

I go up to the batmobile and touch it and a shield throws me backward.

"And a strong shield. At least you have transportation" I say.

"Yeah..and the batcomputer..."

We look at what's left the cave. The suits that the original Batman, Robin, Batgirl and Nightwing wore are in decent condition. Wayne had those protected as well.

"Most of the stuff in this cave is still pretty decent. I imagine Wayne prepared for such a thing.."

"He's always prepared" Mcginnis replys.

He goes over to the batcomputer and looks over it.

"Gonna need a whole new one......what's that?" McGinnis makes his way over to the far left side of the cave wall.

A tiny hole in the wall had a ray of gold coming through it.

McGinnis takes out 4 pieces of somthing from his belt and detonates it. The wall crumbles away.

We step through it to see another cave...about twice the size of the original.

I whistle. "Well..Wayne has a replacement now.."

McGinnis nods and walks deeper into the cave.

END.

OOC: OK, I had got some things started. I wonder if we should end this RPG here. (retire this thread and start a new one [Inque would have to do it]). Anything want to do that? We could throw references back to this thread, but do a completely new thread. What do you think? Because starting a new story(the joker story) in a 16 page thread would kinda be hard to keep track of..to me anyway..

I'm all for it, as it would give some other people the perfect opportunity to jump in. But someone has to let Inque know.

Also for some strange reason I don't think we've seen the last of Ra's al Ghul. I think I've got a halfway decent idea of how to bring the him back, that is if flhero311 doesn’t mind. But that won't be for awhile

But a Joker story line should be good, plus it will give me a better opportunity to use BG. And I think I've got a few ideas for Stalker as well.

flhero311 - I emailed you my idea so let me know what you think. And I have no objection to you using Dick Grayson since a "Return of the Return of the Joker" :D story line is probably the best way to bring in the character.

Bird_Boy - I do believe that since Inque said he was too busy to participate anybody could claim Inque.

Glad you liked it flhero311. The only thing I'd debating on posting about it right now is the character's name because I don't want someone else to take 'em (and no it's not an established BB character).

As for characters I've currently got:

Stalker - I don't know how much I'll use him for the Joker story line

Barbara Gordon - I'll most likely be using her a lot for this one

My third - won't even show up until after the Joker story line finishes (edit: I may start using 'em as the Joker story line is finishing up but the real plot won't come out untill after the we rap up the Joker)

Hey, why don't we all list the characters we'll be using in the new RPG and exactly what we'll be doing with them? I mean, sure everyone probably knows already, but it will be somthing to pass the time :) . Thanks for giving me the idea Mr. O! Anyways, here are my characters:

The Joker - He's gonna be my main guy, and i'll try to make him as psychcotic as possible!

Blight - He's not going be in this one nearly as much as in the first. He's going to be taking the back seat for a while, but I do plan to have him encounter Mr. J at least once!

Dick Grayson: I'm sure his presence will be needed to tie up the loose ends from TNBA, so I'll explain what he's doing and where he is now. The answers will shock you!!! J/K, heehee!!

Max: With her, well, you never know when Terry needs a babysitter or someone to talk to. And maybe, just maybe, she'll play a bigger role in Batman's world without donning a costume...

Maybe more later on, but for now that's it. The Ninja's story will be wrapped up after the Joker story line, so he'll get what he deserves, whatever that may be...

I'm Bruce Wayne and Warhawk. And as much as I like Warhawk, I may be retiring him. Mainly cuz he has to get back to the JLU and it wouldn't be fair to keep him in the RPG full time. Maybe I'll take up another..but who...hmmm....who? *scratches head*

I'm all for the Batgirl idea as long as there's a good story behind her. Though you said you didn't want to go this route, I think having her as DG's daughter would make it interesting, also allowing Dick and Bruce to meet again. Just my thoughts on the situation...

Like everyone else I'm all for you playing Batgirl if you have a good back story. I also agree that using one of Dick's kids as the new Batgirl has been done to death. Besides I've always thought that if Dick Grayson did have children and if one (or more) followed in their old man's footsteps they would take up being Nightwing.

And while Meline/Ten would be a good choice I've always pictured her becoming a Catwoman-Huntress type character. Or just staying as Ten.

But still I think the best choice is to have the new Batgirl be an original character.

Hey folks, Nightwing here. As you may or may not know, Inque's been taking a bit of a sebatical from the boards because of the terror of school starting again for him. So it means he won't be around as much as he wants. I thought I should step in to fill the void, and any mod duties that you folks want done.

So if you're jointly agreed of being in need of something, -for example ending this thread so you can start an "Act 2" or what have you- give me the details on what you want done and I'll do it ASAP. Later (well, sooner than later ;)).
