Supposedly, where I work, there is a "ghost" that lurks in the upstairs area. To bad for me that I often have to work up there all alone. Everyone tells stories of seeing someone standing at the end of a hall, or something of the like...but no hard evidence, and the majority of people dont believe it, but it's still creepy. Often times when I'm up there, I hear the sound of boxes falling off the shelves(and when I check, nothing has fallen), or footsteps up on the roof, and the sound of doors closing or opening, but the only door is that of a closet which is propped open by paint cans....

But, I always feel calm and comfortable up there. If there was a "ghost" of any sort, shouldn't I feel afraid? Hmmm...

Anyway, something REALLY odd happened. I had just finished my work up there, and I was walking to the stairs. On my way there, for a moment, everything around me suddenly darkened and dimmed...flashed a little, then it was light again. Naturally, I just thought that maybe a light flickered. So, I stopped, looked up to see if the light was maybe ready to die...and there was no light around me. Infact the closest lights near me were probably 5 feet from me in every direction. I stopped and wondered how everything around me was engulfed in shadow for a moment...and I still can't explain it.

I'm still not saying I believe in ghosts, I'm just saying...well...maybe I do, now...that's the 3rd ghostial thing thats happened to me...so...hmmmmmm.......

Whoa, that's FREAKY. Man, i'd be bolting out of there like there's no tomorrow. Then I'd call the boss and quit. :)

I hate ghost stories. I am so afraid of the dark - pitch black where you can't even see your hand out front of you - but I think it's mainly from watching all those horror movies. If I never watched horror movies I think I'd be fine.

There's a ghost in my house, or that's what my brothers and sister and I think. So far it hasn't done anything to hurt us - it kinda lurks around, but I've heard wierd things from it before, like footsteps and what not. I still have a instant message conversation with my friend when I heard footsteps late at night while I was writing my english paper in high school and told her to call the cops if i don't return. :)

I've believed in ghosts for a long time now. When I was very young, my family used to live in a haunted house. I've also done some "ghost hunting" in my day, and even have a EMF meter to aid in that.

There's even a ghost or two where I work. It used to be one, but we had a suicide not too long ago ( *sigh* :( ) and I think she's come back to one of the few places where she enjoyed her life. I'm pretty sure I've caught a glimpse of her in the early mornings when I'm upstairs alone.

I wouldn't worry about it. ghosts are already dead, they can't do anything to you. Why be afraid?

Um, hello? MOVIE!

I've never heard of anybody going insane or getting killed because of ghosts.

It's fear of the unknown. I wouldn't say I get afraid when confronted with the supernatural, but my Spooked-Meter shoots through the roof. You know, chills down the spine, and all that good stuff... ;)
