I'm 14 gonna be 15 in 26 days and I go to bed at about 4:00am. THIS SHOUDN'T BE HAPPENING TO ME! IT'S NOT HEALTHY! Plus I start high school on tues, and If I can't go to bed at a good time, I can't wake up at a good time. Does anybody have any ways to help me get back on a regular sleep pattern?

force yourself to go to bed at a reasonable hour.

Watch what you eat and drink late at night. And wake up really early the next day, and don't take any naps. That is what I did, and it worked fine for me.

Drink ALOT of milk.
Don't eat a whole lot before bed.
If you leave stuff like the radio or tv on, turn them down and turn away from them.
Clean sheets always help...
Don't wait to go to bed at 4am. ;)

Yes, it will be difficult for you to fall asleep if you try going to bed earlier, since your body has become accustomed to sleeping late. My suggestion is for you to do some strenuous exercise or anything that tires you out earlier.

The only thing that worked for me was going back to school, which forced me to get up early, and then to be tired when I was going to bed later that night, etc. If you want to, try waking up early one morning, but you'll have to be occupied all day long to keep from taking a nap.

Actually, research seems to show that you are on a regular sleep schedule for teens:

I usually try to go to bed around 3AM myself, but I'm definitely going to have to stop that, now that school is only two days away. I usually just force myself to fall asleep the night before school. Usually, I end up pretty tired on the first day, but that forces me to re-adjust my schedule properly.
