I traveled back to New Mexico about 2 weeks ago for a little R&R (and to pick up some of the new green chile crop). I took some pictures while I was there. If anyone is interested, I put them up here:

I've only seen the Rio Grande that full once before, years ago. Yikes, it's actually raining down there. :p
Anyway, those are some great pictures, especially the cloud formations and the valley (the one labeled Water2.jpg). :)

GO NEW MEXICO!! Land of a thousand sands...and lotsa sun....stupid sun.
:D
Haha. Next time you take a visit down here, pass through Abq! We can meet up, and I'll give you some of my Grandpa's Green Chili. He grows the best and hottest. I love it. And my Dad makes the best bowl of chili, too! :D Of course, I can barely taste it now adays. I grew up on that green chili, and my taste buds are just about warn out. ;)
Nice snap shots! If there is something I will always admit to...in a certain light, New Mexico is absolutely beautiful. BUT, I still can't wait to leave here and see the rest of the world. :)

Pretty impressive photos there, Maxi. Nice job.
I must say I've never seen New Mexico, looks like a lovely place. I'll have to visit next year during my annual "Wander the Country" trip :D

Cool! Actually, I did go by way of Albq (I-40 and then down I-25). Alas, I was on a bit of a sked. The friends I stayed with in Cruces had skedded a big game night for Friday, my travel day. And on the way back I had fresh chile to hustle back to OKC.
And those pics were done by me with a disposable camera. Thank goodness for Photoshop -- you edit out the curddy stuff, touch of the colors when they don't turn out, and reorient the horizon so it's flat instead of sliding toward Jones'. :D
