This episode of Cowoy bebop has got to be my favorite!
Besides the fact that it's eerie, it is quite funny!
Getting to see a guy who looks like the penguin, and is extremly fat, flying around and killing people is funny in it's own!
What is your fav. Cowboy Bebop Episode?
It say another of my favorites, is the mold one. (Anyone know the title, so I can pick up the DVD?).

Without a doubt, Cowboy Funk is my fave.
Pierrot Le Fou (and Cowboy Funk) are both on volume 5.

Oh, I love Toys in The Attic too. But my fav has got to be brain scratch, because if you listen to what the weird guy is saying on all the tvs, it makes sense. I also think Cowboy Funk is cool how the cowboy was hanging around with Faye.

My most favorite secondary eoisode (Brain Scratch) has already been mentioned, so my second favorite would be Mushroom Samba, classic, total classic.

This one is one of my favorite Bebop sessions simply because it was scarier than most horror movies (IMO). That guy is so creepy! Ah! lol...Darn, everyone is mentioning 'Cowboy Funk' and that's the one session I have not seen. Did I miss it again in this run? What session # is it? Maybe I'll go and rent it today.

I just love how they made a tribute to Batman: TAS with the amusment park. ^.^
I totally love all bebop episodes...the ones that make me laugh are Coboy Funk, Mushroom Samba, Jamming with Edward. The ones that make me sad are Asteroid Blues, Waltz for Venus, My Funny Valentine, Speak Like a Child, Hard Luck Woman, The Real Folk Blues. The ones that just creep me out are Toys in the Attick and Brain Scratch. *shivers*

I wouldn't bother. It'll be on in 2 weeks anyway. Definately the best stand alone episode IMHO. My top 5 are all the ones with Vicious in them, with Cowboy Funk, Pierot Le Fou, Mushroom Sanba and Brain Scratch following.

Unless you can't wait two weeks, don't rent it.
Next week is....Boogie Woogie Fung-shui, and then it's Cowboy Funk.
Then again...if you rent it, it'll most likely be unedited, so you could still check it out. There wasn't too much edited out of Pierot Le Fou...just some big blood bath scenes...and the occational swear.

"Shut UP!" - Yeah, Spike, that's gonna work. Real nice.
Pierrot Le Fou is one of THE coolest Bebop episodes. Good plot, cool action, funny Edward. "Faye-faye!"

THat was my favorite episode. It was full of explosions and everything.
Then the part where he turns to spike and says
Hello boy(in japanese version) it was really funny sounding.
CB is excellence...
And this episode only strengthened that impression.
How do they do that?????
In Mushroom Samba, you get this wacky relaxed atmosphere, while in Pierrot Le Fou it's anything but relaxed.
In Ballad of Fallen Angels, you really feel like you're in a short John Woo movie.
In Brain Scratch, you got this freaky atmosphere again while in Toys in the Attic, you get the feeling that the episode is thrilling but not serious.
How do they do that???
How can actually anyone be able to change the atmosphere every episode and be succesful with it????
CB IS excellence...
