I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts or not. I'm not 100% convinced...but....

I think my bedroom is haunted.

And if it is haunted, it may not be by some unsettled spirit who wants revenge or something to that effect...but....whatever it is, he sure is a jackass. If my room 'is' haunted...I think my ghost is a big jerk. He's not trying to kill me, he just plays jokes on me...

Like sometimes I'll wake up, open my eyes, and I see a "hand" infront of my face, freak out and jump up...nothing is there. And I just KNOW there's some ghost floating around and laughing his butt off at me...

if I do have a ghost...he's a jackass....... :)

I just thought I'd share that. But to add a possible point to this...who else has a haunted room? :D

Well I don't have a haunted room or if I do I am totally unaware. But anways one time we were staying at my uncles and we had to stay in the basement, but every morning at 6:30 AM, a chain would dangle, and my sister and I would be awake and we always wondered why. Well anyways the day we were leaving we decided to ask our uncle why, and he told us that the man who had lived there 30 yrs. ago commited suicide. We didn't believe him, we thought he was playing a joke on us, he always does, but then he pulled out some old newspapers, and as we read the frontpage, one of the headlines said something along the lines of "Man commited suicide" and in the article it said the time he killed himself was at approx. 6:30 AM. And in the background was the house that my uncle was at the time currently living in. Spooky 'eh?

[looks at post title] why must you confuse me with such things?

my room isn't haunted..perhaps the worst thing in my room is a possible toxic waste leak beneath my bed. but my friend andy has a 'haunted' house, i guess. his ghost beats up his dog. poor dog.

I always feel like I'm being watched...even in closed rooms...
I always seem to see something out of the corner of my eye...
I always start to feel something in a certain area on my skin whenever I'm trying to go to sleep and have my eyes closed...
Sometimes I see one of my cats or my dog just staring into a dark area...

What is it?

Paranoia. :o

Maybe not...

:D :D :D I titled it "Spooooooooky" just to confused you, spooky! ;)

I forgot to add something that happened last night. Sometimes I feel fingers moving across my back(when I sleep on my stomache, that is), and I'm so 'use to them' now that I don't quite mind...but, I have a feeling the ghost is trying to trick me into thinking there's some kind of kinky-nice female ghost in there, then when I turn around, it's still just him..and he's laughing....

My ghost is such a jakcass... :p

The most "spoooooky" thing to happen to me was when I was a kid and our family lived in a house my mom swore was haunted. She like horror movies and stuff, but she's pretty grounded in reality and doesn't go around looking for this stuff, and this was the only house we lived in like this. Certain things happened like our pet bird was sick the entire time we lived there but got better immediately after we moved (I know, that prooves nothing, it was just one of those odd things looking back after the fact), my mom was in the kitchen one time when a can at the top of the basement stairs just fell all by itself and did not touch a single stair on it's way down, and one time when my aunt and cousins were over, my mom and aunt decided to do the Oujia Board thing, and we were upstairs and my aunt asked if there were any evil spirits in the house, and the thing went to "yes." My aunt said, "Proove it" and at that very instant, a strong wind blew thru the upstairs and slammed a door shut. My aunt literally peed her pants as she ran down the stairs!

Well, I guess that's the spookiest thing, but there was one more thing that happened that was totally spooky for me, since it happened to me! I woke up in the middle of the night on the floor, and I have no idea how it happened, but my dresser had fallen over on to my bed. It landed right were I would have been sleeping, but I was on the floor. Now, I never did fall out of bed when I was a kid, and I was probably 7 or 8 at this point, and falling out of bed was not a problem I had, nor was this dresser on weak legs, nor did it wobble or topple over at any other time. In fact, the dresser is still at my mom's house, sturdy as ever, you can try rocking it with your hands, but it would take strength to push it over, it's not going any where on it's own. I scurried out from under the dresser, and went to wake up my mom, and she also got my sister up. I recall my mom just amazed at what happened, and commented that I would probably have been killed if I had been in bed at that time.

Scoff if you may, theorize your way around it, but I feel that there was something bad in that house, an evil spirit of some sort. I've seen nay sayers on the boards here post, "Oh it's just a waking dream." Uhhh....no...it wasn't. If we were suffering from "waking dreams" why did those "dreams" happen only in that house? I know it was something in that house that tried to do harm to me, but an angel or something good saved me from harm.

Much in the same way I know that it was a miracle that pulled my shaver cord out of the wall one day and later that same day I was litereally saved by seconds from being in a potentially fatal car accident. Scoff, explain it away, the stories have not been altered or embellished by me. I think that house was haunted, and I think someOne is looking out for me!

I remember doing the Oujia board thing in my old house...have yet to do it in the new one  . Anyhoo, at the old one I did it with a bunch of friends in like junior high or something. According to a board we had a ghost in the house...I think the name we got was T.J. I know one instance where my dad was out of town so my sis and I slept with mom that night. We were all ready for bed so we turned off the tv, and it turned back on. So we turned it off again, and it turned on again. That happened about two three times, I remember calling out "knock it off T.J!", and then we had no more problems and went to bed. I also know that whenever it was completely dark in the house and I had to go downstairs to get something, I would freak, getting this spooky feeling I wasn't alone. So I'd always get what I needed and literally sprint up the stairs to my room, back into bed and under the covers...because, so I thought, if I was under the covers, nothing could get me. I love my childhood logic.

Nothing scary or spooky ever happens to me. **pout** my friends are allways saying "MY HOUSE IS HUANTED!" or " THE BARN BEHIND ARE HOUSE IS HAUNTED!" All I can do is just nod, nothing, I mean, NOTHING un-natural ever hapens to me!!! (Although I did once think I was psychic, cause I would have silly little visions in my sleep or the most stupidest things, like looking down at the cat bowl over the bag of catfood, and days later when I fed my cat, I was doing the same thing in my dream, the cat foodbag matched the colors and all! I am such a dork.....)

You'ld think my house was haunted, it sits on a hill, half a mile away from the road, and it's sorounded by woods. But nothing scary has happened. You'ld also think my old Elementry school was haunted, there use to be a cemetary or something behind it, cause we (My friends and I) found half of a tombstone. :o

I WANNA QUIJI BOURD!!!! I've looked everywhere, and can't find one. :( My sister made a Quiji bourd out of card bourd when we where little, but It didn't work....

First of all I beleive Ouiji boards are evil, My friend's aunt was useing one then it said something about fire then exploded. Second of all your all lucky, you don't have a poltegeist! those thing are more anoying than anything, I'm constantly hearing strange noices at night that sound like gunshots and I'm the only one who hears them, and I'm constantly having things thrown at me.

There was once something in my room. It haunted my ceiling right above my bed. I freaked out for a while, then just ignored it, and I guess it went away...or it was my overactive imagination again...
 :p

BUT...

My friends house is haunted by a friendly ghost. (No, not Casper) :D . Its name is Dr. Jervis, and he just pulls some stunts like turning on the computer and playing solitare, or putting its face in the window, or opening the kitchen door. We had a huge sleepover at her house once, and stuff happened (mainly the above). It was great, went to sleep at 3am totally freaked out. Good times... :D :p

I think so, too. I know people who have had very negative experiences with them, I would never seek out to own one. It's just something I don't want.

I knew a lady once (she went to my church in the town I am from) and she and her friend told me a story about before they were in the church and they were using a Oujia Board and they were basically doing the same thing my mom and aunt were doing, only they were asking of Satan was real. It went to YES and they asked for proof and the phone rang. They picked it up and there was just this white static noise and in the background you could hear laughter. They got scared brickless and hung up. The phone rang again and the same thing, white noise with laughter in the background. They wound up unplugging the phone and leaving it that way til the next day.

When I was a kid there was another kid in my neighborhood who claimed that his dead aunt haunted his house. He told stories of cupboard doors slamming near peoples heads, the refrigerator opening on its own and being able to hear a crying woman in a certain room of the house whenever family was visiting. One night my best friend and I were out jacking around and decided to drop in on the haunted house because the kids parents weren't there. We sat in his basement talking and playing music for an hour or so. When the conversation turned to his aunt we heard a knocking on the wall near my head. Skeptical we proceeded to the room on the other side of the wall to find supplies and junk all along the wall making it impossible for anyone to reach. Just about the time I started to freak out we heard the cupboard doors upstairs go bananas and dishes breaking on the kitchen floor and I mean lots of dishes breaking one by one for more than a minute. Then the frantic footsteps of our hosts little brother running down from the second floor to the kitchen and screaming "Rick, Rick It's Happening Again!". Everyone cleared out of the house. Rick and his little brother stayed at my friends house untill their parents came home and I went home and didn't sleep a wink that night.

My old house was allegedly haunted. I never saw anything, but I'm not a believer in such stuff.

Apparently it was two children who could be heard on the upstairs landing. A couple of people commented on it. One was outside the front door and could here them playing inside (the family was out). No such occurrences in my new abode and the fact I'm moving into is brand new so no ghosts.... unless there is an English Indian burial ground set beneath it... sounds unlikely..!

I always feel like I'm being watched...even in closed rooms...

I thought I was the only one, everyone around here thinks I'm crazy, except my one friend. Nothing really weird has happened in my house, at least, not yet :D . I'm really sorry to hear about your father :(. It makes me sad as well :(.
