The Samurai Jack premiere movie, Trilogy, got a 1.6 household rating Friday. According to TVInsite (http://www.tvinsite.com), the average primetime ratings have been between 1.7 and 1.8 this summer. However, it a 33% improvement over the 1.2 rating Cartoon Network averaged last August on its Cartoon Cartoons Friday block.
According to the NY Post, Samurai Jack also scored a whopping 2.9 million viewers - with encore telecasts picking up even more steam (1.5 million HHs Sunday night).
With adults 18-34 jumping 167 percent during Friday's debut, the series definetly has cross appeal. This can only be good for when Justice League debuts.
