Major Glory and Val Halen

Finally a connection between The PPG and Dexter's Lab. Friday's episode of PPG was one of my favorites. It was great to see Major Glory and Val Halen again and the mention of Krunk was cool too. I was hoping to see Monkey in the episode, but alas no.

I always felt that PPG and Dexter's Lab were connected is some way, There have been a few referances on PPG. The Girls do watch The Puppet Pals show and I did see a Monkey plush in the episode where the Proffesor was stealing toy while sleepwalking, but last friday's episode was the biggest Dexter and PPG connection I have seen and it was great.

I have always wanted to see an episode or a Miniseries of episodes connecting the 2 shows. For Example

Both Dexter and Proff Utonium are scientists right, It would be so cool to see them together, The Proffesor would be all impressed with Dexter's Lab and the Girls play with DEEDEE.

Both Dexter and The Proffesor could of adopted Monkey and Mojo Jojo from the same place and Mojo Jojo and Monkey could of had a rivalry back when they were normal primates and Chimps and they could meet again with an all out battle with Monkey teaming up with The PPG fighting Mojo Jojo . That would be too cool. don't you agree?

Give up crossover episodes.

All very good ideas.

Now what I would really want to see is an all-out battle episode. Like the first Go, Dexter's Family, Go! episode (which is still my all-time favortie Dex episode). With Dex's Robot and the PPG fighting off against another reunion of the Beat-Alls and some giant Mandark Robot. Oh and with another appereances by the Future Dexter's from Ego Trip. Oh man, now that would be an all time great episode.

I wouldn't mind a crossover of the old dexter and PPG. I don't like the new dexter. Unfortunately, if a crossever would ever happen, it would be impossible with the old dexter. :(

Dexter's Lab could occur in the future. That is, DL occurs AFTER PPG. [due to several cameos of Dexter @ Pokey Oaks. Aww....]

And, I'd add SJ to the mix. Don't ask me how; I'm still ironing out the details myself.

It has something to do with Jack's sword and the Professor....

I know of one decent PPG/ Samurai Jack crossover that's already been written, which is indeed set in the future (sorry, no Dexter included.) You can read here:

BTW: If the PPGs ever did pay a visit to Dexter's place, DeeDee and Bubbles would probably get along fine, Blossom and Buttercup might prefer Dexter's company, and Monkey vs. Mojo would be a great confrontation!

I'd like to see Fuzzy Lumpkins battle it out with Koosie, though! :D

My favorite Justice Friends episode is the one where Krunk stays up to watch the Puppet Pals marathon and ends up having that dream where the zebra on roller skates in a trenchcoat takes him into the Puppet Pals palace; it's pretty trippy in there, and it reminds me of The Yellow Submarine in a way.

Yes I want to see this, why dont they wise up and give us a Dexter's Lab, PPG Crossover.

Your right Bubbles would get along just fine with DEEDEE. And I cant deny a Dexter and Proffesor Utonium conection when it comes to Monkey and Mojo. like I said before they were both from the same petshop and even lived in the same cage and they had a strong rivalry, Then Dexter and the Proffesor came and addopted them and then Monkey becomes a Superhero and Mojo Jojo becomes an Evil Genious and though some series of events They meet again and an all out epic battle ensues, Just imagine The PPG along side Monkey and Dexter in His Famous Robo Dexo 2000 and perhaps Mojo Jojo could team up with Mandark, both of them also in giant robot suits for an all out giant, Epic Cartoon Superhero Super Villian battle with 3 giant robots. Tell me that that would not be awsome.

Let me remind you that Genndy is one of the producers on PPG so dont say it cant happen.

Of course such a thing *can* happen.

But I wouldn't want Genndy & McCracken to do a crossover as an end in itself; they should do it when they've got a really decent DL/ PPG story idea. I'm quite confident they could come up with one, if they put their minds to it.

Use SJ's no-lines technique, keep our heroes on model, and we have an American OVA[DTV]. Or, it could air as a special CN Cartoon Theater premiere. :D

There was another Dexter/PPG "crossover". In PPG ep.22 "Imaginary Fiend", they mentioned Koos from Dexter ep.48 "The Koos is Loose" as a possible boyfriend for the Action Bunny imaginary friend. Needless to say, she rejects the idea :p

Also, in the episode "The Powerpuff Girls Best Rainy Day Adventure Ever", Bubbles and Buttercup were playing "Puppet Palls" on Super NES. "Shhh! We're going for a bonking record!"

sounds interesting. I thought Dexter was an okay show, but to tell you the truth I liked the "Justice Friends" and "Monkey" segments better than the boy genius. One cartoon in particular had me cracking up: the Justice Friends, living together in an apartment, try to get a little bee out of the living room and end up destroying the whole apartment building in the process. THAT was funny.

That episode also had a nice homage to South Park, with Blossom falling into a pile of clothes and coming out dressed like Cartman saying "I tripped, seriously."
