If you're like me and you're a twenty-two-year-old male from South Dakota with a Batman villain username who had a birthday last Saturday and you use the computer way too much, do you ever get "mouse arm" as I call it? (ok maybe you just relate to the second part :p anyway)
Basically your arm that you "mouse with" just gets almost too tired to continue and you just want to let it hang limp at your side because it's that tired, but you can't because you aren't done yet and the other hand just isn't close enough to the mouse!
As a matter of fact I think I'm getting "mouse arm" right now. It's been almost 3 hours since I got on-line. :o I should probably sleep or something.
Well, comments on this phenomena? Perhaps you even know a way to prevent it? :)

No, I don't get mouse-arm, but I do get lazy fingers and try my darndest to only spell words using the lower-half of the keyboard...
Is that lazy or what? :)

A way to improve the chances of NOT to get "mouse arm" is to drink Mountian Dew, Jolt, Surge or any other caffine based soda drink about five cans in less than 2 hours your arm will feel like a million bucks if this doesn't work then I have no advice for you
I've never had mouse arm (probably from all the hours I put in Diablo 2 and Counter-Strike gives my arm some training) but last year my hand actually hurt from holding a mouse too much. Thank you Diablo 2.

Not really, no. But, my arm gets tired from doing any OTHER activities...

I ate my mouse, so now I don't have that problem. Of course, I have other problems as a result. =X
Seriously, though, I've never had "mouse arm". I've had "bed arm" plenty of times, where you sleep on your arm, and then wake up and it's all limpy. I hate that. =X

"mouse arm" that's so cute! But nope, don't think I've ever had that problem myself. I'm a big computer person, type fast, all that, so I seem to be very used to being on a long time and my arms/fingers don't get tired. Now getting altogether sleepy is different, struggling to stay awake when there's so much stuff to check on the boards can be hard...a bit amusing, but hard. Of course, drinking some type of soda normally remedies that problem!

Nope can't relate to the first, Pengy... since I'm a twenty-three-year-old female from Central New York... and actually I can't relate to the second either.
I have, though, gotten a red mark on my wrist from typing too much. I have a odd bone thing going there -- I broke my wrist and the bone grew back kind of blank-eyed (can't use the word here...) -- so anyway, the bone sort of sticks out slightly and gets rubbed against the keyboard, thus the red spot.

I'm trying to imagine how many hours on fast action computer games you would have to spend before you got mouse arm. I've played games for up to 6+ hours at a time, and have never gotten mouse arm. This is the first I've ever heard of the phenomena, you may want to try another activity for a while if you get it.

At first, I would have voted "What the heck are you talking about?" That should answer the question indirectly. As for a direct answer, "no."

No, not really. Whenever I'm using my hands/wrists for an extended period of time, my tendonitis usually kicks in!

Yep, get it every now and then, I just rest my hands on the keyboard and use the keys to pilot around. It takes a little bit more patience, but then I can use the mouse again when my arm recovers.

I spend 12 hours on the computer (only sometimes though, I do have a life you know) and I have never gotten "Mouse arm".
But I do get sore fingers though. Sore fingers are when the side of/the tips of your fingers are sore from typing too much for an extended period of time. I especially get sore fingers when I type reports for school.
I also get lazy fingers, as TimTwoFace put it. I hate typing upper case letters with the shift key, because I'm too lazy to hold it down with one hand and type the key with the other. I also forget where the keys are sometimes. I type the standard way (with the home keys) and its a pain when you constantly look at the keyboard to look for letters when they're is something on your mind you want to type out.
