All of this was announced at Anime Expo last weekend and can be found on The Jazz Messengers (http://www.jazzmess.com/)


-Bandai will be releasing the Compilation 1 and 2 DVD sets that include six remastered episodes

-Marc Handler, the original ADR script writer for Cowboy Bebop, has been retained to do the film as well as other Animaze staff members are said to be working on the movie (The dub cas is still not yet confirmed)

And most important of all

-The dub of KOHD will premiere at The Big Apple Anime Fest, August 30 through September 2

Wow! Columbia actually titles the movie "Knocking On Heaven's Door". And they actually got Mark Handler to do the movie as well. Now I'm starting to get confident that they got the original dub cast.

Yeah i forgot that part.

The sub was screened at AX with nothing altered. The name and music were the same

I hope that Columbia Pictures did keep the original voice cast for the C.B. "Knocking On Heaven's Door" movie. If they dubbed it, with a different set of voice actors, it wouldn't feel the same as they for the series.

no,I think I will brag,and for months,if not years.This all leads back to gamefaqs when AS started.Everyone said CB would be hacked to ****,I said they'd do justice,well I was right :)

Does this mean 100% that it'll be that way for the DVD release? I know almost nothing about the subject, but I don't think so.

I wouldn't take the print shown at AX as evidence of what the DVD is going to contain. Changes can get made (or maybe not).

Animation stuff is rarely if ever touched due to fan outcry and the copyright stuff may affect the name but I can almost guarantee you the title will still be in the animation.It's not even worth the parties trouble to check the animation and stuff in the past such as the names in Bastard! havn't posed a problem.

There are all kinds of unnecessary edits made to animation, fan outcry or no.

Yes I've been to animeprime,been goin there for years but all those titles ammount to maybe 5% of all the commercial anime out now.

The BAstard name changes was my misatke,I own the fansub and my friend told me they didn't change the names.
