How do you watch [Archive] - toonzone forums

I generally try to watch it while taping it. This accomplishes two things:

1. If I'm watching it at the same time, I actually remember to tape it :D

2. If I get sleepy while it's on, it'll be there for me in the morning - yay :)

(Of course, if I gotta be off elsewhere when its on, I do try to remember to set the timer.)

I tape it while I watch it for three reasons.

1. I usually fall asleep after Cowboy Bebop
2. My little brother always comes up with those really hard to answer questions like "Where do babies come from?" or "What happens when we die?" while I'm trying to watch.
3. So I can pause the tape and draw the pictures later because my poor old computer can't hold anymore anime pictures. ^.^!

The VCR is set, like clockwork, it tapes AS for me every Sunday night. I'd love to watch it live, but I'm at work -- I either tape it or don't get to see it.

I usually watch AS while it's on. I tape it if I am going to miss it.

Always record it on my HTPC. Just becouse I never seem to home at those times in Summer at least.

I used to tape both nights of AS (two different tapes, etc). Then I got a TiVo.... much easier & nicer (and foolproof) :)

Tape it so you can hack it to your computer and send it to KaZaA. ;) LOL j/k

Anyway, I just watch it when it's on. No mess, no fuss... Or something along those lines...

I usually watch it when its on, unless I know that I'm going to miss it in which case I tape it.

How can you people fall asleep during Adult Swim?! I figured its whole fanbase was insomniacs like me... :D

I fall asleep before ASA starts (and usually during ASC)... I'm usually up at 4-4:30 AM. I'm an early bird not a night owl (hence the TiVo).

I watch it when its on and tape it. since i cant get enough of mission hill and home movies. i watch the threwout the week. so i do'nt have to wait another week to see my fav cartoons.

At the moment, I watch it when it runs and when I'm here. When I get a second soundcard, and a better CPU, I'll record it for later to see what I have been missing. Gotta love ATI's All-in Wonder/TV WOnder line. Free TiVo!

I always tape the episodes while watching it. That way I can save the show if it ever goes off-air, or save it for when I'm bored. :D

Sort of... but not exactly. The one thing that sets TiVo apart from the rest of the PVR market is their software. It tends to get 'smarter' the more you use it. Mine went from recording every toon on TV to now where it basically records just action/fantasy toons on its own (if I haven't told it I want something specific).

I just watch it, as much as I enjoy it. I already have most of ASA's episodes on my computer from the DVDs, and ASC is funny, but usually not worth watching over and over again (except for Home Movies).
