just watched Birdman, genuienely hilarious. I hope they keep the clerk he's quite funny. Since I've seen the Mission Hill and Aqua Teen eps I will also comment that they are quite good.

Shaggy Busted
Eh, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be - and IMDb isn't exactly the most credible source regarding the voice actors ¬_¬; Hey, I can't be right all the time. I'm sorry. I admit my mistakes and I'll learn from it.
Anyway, back to the review.
It had its funny moments though, like
-A live action Birdman chasing a person in a Tab cola costume on the beach.
-Avenger scooping up Scrappy-Doo and flying far away.

That was the best Harvey Birdman episode yet. The best part had to be the slide show of Mystery Inc smoking blunts. Or having Geroge Jetson talking to his family in the visitor's room. Also Bird Boy being Birdman's clerk while he was running around his office with that deagle. I don't know how they will top that episode, but its possible. God I can't wait for the next one. :D

Home Movies was funny like usual. Mcguirk drunk?? It had to happen eventually (no wonder he was so concerned when Mr. Lynch got drunk when they went to Mexico). "MCGUIRK!!!" (I couldn't resist.Rising Sun's Superman episode was still stuck in my head.) Overall grade: B+
Baby Blues: "It's all been done before" Next.
Birdman was funny, even though I know very little about Hanna-Barbeara (sp) cartoons. OVerall grade: B
Brak Show: Remember the intro to Aeon Flux?? This was that times a bunch more bugs. Overall grade: B
Sealab was funny (Overall grade: B+) and ATHF was just ok (Overall grade: C).
Mission Hill: Ok it was good, but that little brother is really getting annoying (in a Eltingville club sort of way). Since it kept my attention and got some chuckles out of me, I'll give it a B-.
Baby Blues rerun: "It's all been done before" even more.
Good night.

Home Movies - A-
Baby Blues - sucks
Harvey Birdmam - A-
The Brak Show - B+
Sealab 2021 - B
Aqua Teen Hunger Force - B-
Mission Hill - B-
Baby Blues - sucks
Spoilers ahead....
Harvey was great, my favorite part was the live-action sequence at the beginning where he was arresting Shaggy and Scooby in their mystery van. Mission Hill was just alright tonight, I liked most of the other episodes better although there are always a few hilarious moments. Baby Blues twice a night just sucks really hard, bring back Space Ghost or give me death.

Brak and SGCTC Is good also but it is nonthing compared to HARVEY BIRDMAN! :p

Home Movies- zzz...Brendon kills jokes...as usual...typical crap I've seen too many times. F
Baby Blues: There were some good jokes, some bad jokes, and some jokes that "have been done before". Thus begins Baby Blues moment from the top of the mountain, as the creators of this adaption give it a violent shove down the mountain. Sigh... still enjoy the creative characters though...C
Harvey Birdman "Shaggy Gets Busted": A hilarious episode indeed! Laughing my head off for its genius, although some things weren't too funny...only at moments though. I'd rank this higher than the Apache Chief, but not the Custody Case. Any show that makes Scrappy Doo a victim will rule! A-
Didn't watch Brak, Sealab, or ATHF. All repeats and I felt like reading Penny Arcade. Sorry.
Mission hill: Absolutely hilarious episode! Great plot (as far as this show can go that is). And Nazi jokes always work. A

Adult Swim Comedy Reviews bring true happiness
Home Movies:
Episode 110 - "School Nurse" : Seen it before. I'll just get to the final grades.
GRADE: A
+ The music. Ooooh the music!!
- Retroscripting drags out scenes too long to finish completely.
Baby Blues:
Episode 225-201 - "Hurtin Inside": Meh, this episode wasn't exactly great. I liked the scenes with Kenny and all that, otherwise too preachy. At least the ending was a pickup for nice guys like me. Rrrrgh.
GRADE: C+
+ All of the scenes where Darryl tries to act either selfless or brave, only to be knocked down in the end. And Kenny. Always Kenny.
- The flashback scenes. Overall dull plot.
Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law:
Episode 2201 - "Shaggy Busted": According to the IMDb, Jimmy Fallon was to play Shaggy. Guess they were wrong. At least they were right about Michael McKean playing Spyro. OMG, this episode was great!! Had me in stitches many times! Especially the TAB Cola, and Birdbo...er, Peanut's faciniation with a gun, and Daphne. If you missed this episode, you missed out a lot.
GRADE: A++
+ Spyro, Peanut, the "Cops" footage, other H-B cameos, and the list goes on and on
- What's with the sped up footage?
The Brak Show:
Episode 2108 - "The Eye": Can't say much, except it hurt my eyes.
GRADE: F
+ Um....Dad's lines.
- Dragged on too long, only took place in the kitchen, no plot, poorly drawn ambulance, Brak wheezing....
Sealab 2021
Episode 2107 - "Murphy Murph and the Feng Shui Bunch": Haha! How come this episode is only on its third airing? While not as up to par as "All That Jazz" this episode is still funny funny! I liked how Master Loo spoke with absolutely no emotion. Who was that? Sounded like Adam Reed. And of course, Aqua Teens at the end.
GRADE: A
+ The final fight between Meatwad and Shake.
- Certain scenes went nowhere. And not in a Brak way.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Episode 2102 - "Bus of the Undead": This episode isn't too great anymore. Jon Benjamin's voice saves it though, and of course Shake's actions. It's an oldie, so I'll get right to the grades.
GRADE: C+
+ The trip to "Dracla's Grave"
- Slow pacing.
Mission Hill
Episode 3950-08 - "Brother's Big Boner" or "Unemployment (part 1)": And so beginneth the never finished 2-part episode of Mission Hill. Similar to Duckman, only we see an ending this time!! This episode, in traditional Mission Hill style, is hillarious. FUNimation, if you're listening, start taping this show. It holds many loopholes for Yu Yu Hakusho editing standards. I liked how C-Dawg and Griffo still refer to Kevin as "whack man" and Andy's carelessness. But comon! More Gus and Wally!
GRADE: A+
+ When the Ferraro gets trashed, and Ron's reaction.
- Is it me, or did Posey not show up at all?
Baby Blues (see above)
HARVEYBIRDMAN17
07-08-2002, 01:30 AM
Another thing I forgot to mention that I think that is great that they got Scott Innes And Frank Welker And Gray Delisle And BJ Ward to do the voices of The Gang! That makes it even better!!
G1Ravage
07-08-2002, 02:03 AM
So the gang all had their original voices from the original series? (Except for Shaggy and Scooby of course.) I don't even think the recent Scooby Doo movies (animated) had the entire original cast.
Harvey Birdman is hilarious. :D

Home Movies - B
Baby Blues - Big fat boring F. It got old. Really old.
Birdman - Not as good as I expected. Still, A
Brak - A
Sealab - B
ATHF - B+
Mission Hill - A - Much better than last week's Kevin-only episode.
Baby Blues: It can't be that hard to pick a random SGC2C tape and play it, can it? Big fat repetitive boring "get the hell out of my life" F.
Why does Baby Blues move out of South Park's timeslot just when it gets boring?
Home Movies - Dident watch
Baby Blues - i dident care for this episode much, the only good parts were, Kenny, and Carl and Rodney (before and after the "Fight")
Final Grade: D +
Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law:
GREAT!!, I LOVED!! this episode, especially all the references to the "Stoner" side of Scooby doo and oh yeah, Birdboy's little gun act, I LOVED the way he dashed and darted around the office and his hitting on Daphne, there was SOOO much in the episode I cant even fit it into this review
Final Grade: A+++++++++++++!!!!11111111111111ANDOTHERSUCHTHINGSTHATMEANITWASGOOD
The Brak Show:
A pretty good episode, mostly because of Dads speeches and eye tricks
Final Grade: C-
SeaLab 2021:
A classic I loved this one when it first aired, "Oh you wanna come over here and get some of this glowing?" and it all coming to a climax with Shake hitting stuff with a bat
Final Grade: A+
Aqua Teen Hunger Force:
This IS my favorite episode, although Carl has a small part in this episode, the part he DOSE play is Gold, I love his reaction to the "Cord" but the best part is the Vacation...hehe
Final Grade: A
Mission Hill:
A really good episode, although the middle aged guy shaking his booty to organ music is a little disturbing, I bet CN had to fight to keep this episode unedited, with the video tape and all, but the whole Ferraro thing is great, especially the way he drove it around and bought all the special stuff for it even though it didn’t have to just to have it destroyed, I loved Ron's reaction to the Ferraro beaing destroyed
Final Grade: A
Baby Blues: ******* IT BRING BACK SPACEGHOST!!

Harvey Birdman was great!
I found that part with the drug tape very funny. It's just so true!

07-08-2002, 10:25 AM
It's not Mission Hill's finale,it's like episode 5 or 6 but when aired on WB they aired this than it got cancelled which angered me and many of my friends,DAMN YOU WB!
Home Movies-McGurk saved this one completely as Brenden's storyline was not that great and I like the new VA's for Jason and Paula a lot better.
Rating-B-
Baby Blues-Shoot me if you must but I loved this.THe flashbacks were awesome (hurt so BAAAAAAD!),Carl was hillarious as always, and Kenny was too funny.I'm alone but I kinda like this show.
Rating-A-
Harvey Birdman-YEAH!First off I wanna see how George winds up in jail :) but that's my only complaint. The flashbacks were great, the judge was hillarious (though we shoulda seen more of him),and what can describe the live action sequences?Even the openeing was funny.Like he tries to kiss a girl "OBJECTED!OVERRULED!" man that was good but did anyone else find it weird they never directly said high or weed or anything?
On a side note, someone wanna explain the thing form next weeks ep. with Yogi and the old guys?
Rating-A+
Brak-Bah,I aint reviewing this crap.
Rating-H,that's right,a ****in H
Sealab-One of my all time favorite Sealab episodes.Master Lou's voice made everything "Yeah, see how I'm glowing?" and the stuff with what all everyone bought "this crappy ass bird" made it's way into my daily quote cycle. The only thing keeping this form an A+ was the part with them laughing,it was so stupid and wasn't funny to me at all.
Rating-A-
ATHF-What's with the hate?I remember I saw the leprachaun episode, hated it,the Rabbot episode, hated it (but not as much),than this one came along and changed my whole opinion. It took 2 Moonites to make me a fan but this one helped. The stuff with Dracula's grave was pure genius and Benjamin is just a great VA plus Carl's speech about the plug had me in stitches.
Rating-A
Mission Hill-Ah,remember times. But I also have to ask how they got this one on the air cause if memory serves correct WB edited this one.I specifically remember the word "jerk" in place of "jackoff".Anyway we got Gordon Lightfoot jokes,Ron,lots of Jim,the organ guys (which alone gives this one an A),Andy whiping snot on Stogie, and an ad where blind people get insurance, where's the downside?
Rating-A+

Home Movies: (n/a)
Didn't watch it.
Baby Blues: (n/a)
Watched "Crank Yankers" instead.
Harvey Birdman: "Shaggy Busted"
This is truly an original show. It takes about two or three viewings to catch all the jokes. The best bit is a toss-up between the Tab "commercial" and the "clip show." A+
Brak Show: "The Eye"
This is not one of the better episodes. Zorak's wasp problems were funny, tho. C
Sealab 2021: "Murphy Murph & the Feng Shui Bunch"
Great as usual. This episode is one of my personal faves. A
ATHF: "Bus of the Undead"
Mothmonsterman is the 2nd best character on ATHF, right behind the Mooninites. The first ATHF I ever saw, waaay back in Nov. 2001. B
Mission Hill: "Brother's Big Boner"
Mission Hill is funny enough to tune in every week for, but it's nothing special. C

Only caught Mission Hill last night. First time I've seen the show actually :p It wasn't that funny, but it was a pretty good episode otherwise. I agree with what someone else said earlier though, that organ guy shaking his ass around scared the hell out of me  :p

Sea Lab 2021- I love this episode! Espically since Aqua Teen Hungar Force makes a camio. A+
Aqua Teen Hungar Force: Bus of the Undead- a lot of people hate this one but I love it. One thing though... Did I hear coach McGuirk's voice as Mothman? A+
Mission Hill: Unemploment pt.1- This was good because there wasn't as much nerding out as the others so I give it an A
The was a good week thanks to Harvey Birdman! A+

Not their best work. The bit with Brendon taping himself as genuinely sick so he could fake it better was funny. Other than that, meh.

Ah, yes. The concept of Shaggy and Scooby being high on the weed. Every young college freshman thinks is the most brilliant and funniest idea he/she has ever come up with.
Seeing as how this idea has been done to death, they executed it really well. It did seem to be cut to ribbons... nobody could directly say that they were "high" or mention the word "marijuana." (Hmm, they clearly don't have that problem over on Crank Yankers.)
Oddly enough, the funniest part was the live-action bit on the beach. It looked so ridiculous. I nearly peed myself laughing.
Just one question: Why does Scrappy get abused so much these days? Poor little guy. He wasn't that bad, was he?

ASC Review 7/7/02
Home Movies:Not one of the better Home Movies. Not enough jokes. If it had not been for the Jason and McGuirk subplots it would have been abysmal.D+
Baby Blues: This was an average Baby Blues, or, in other words, absolutely horrible. This belongs on the Lifetime channel because this is just not working out. Remember when this show took a vacation...That was just great.F
Birdman: This was a good episode, better than the Apache Chief episode. Endorsement bit was classic. A
Brak Show: This episode had dad in about every scene, stealing the whole show. His comments were great(I'm not surprised your afraid of me, most sissies are.). If the Brak Show comes back in the fall, they should focus on Dad(as later ones did) and leave Brak in the background to make random outbursts(which is what he does best).B+
ATHF: While not a very good eisode it has the best Carl qoute ever and is the one that changed 'that stupid show with the food' to 'that hilarious show that is second only to Sealab'.B
Sealab 2021:Another very good episode. You can never see a sealab episode enough. This is the best show on the lineup and can hopefully be just as funny when it comes back."You want some of the glowing?"A
Mission Hill:This show is much, much better than any three-year old WB outcast has any right to being. They should air this twice instead of that BB rerun at 12:30. While not as good as the original shows this is still very funny. B
BB: rerun,F-

HARVEY BIRDMAN
Birdman was hilarious as usual. I laugh my butt when Shaggy and Scooby ran away from the cop. No wonder Scooby and Shaggy act so stupid they are blazed. Birdboy as the clerk was nice touch. The best moment of the night was when Avenger grabbed Scrappy.

MISSION HILL
Andy's boss acted like he was addicted coke. Andy interview at the Weekly Supremacist was classic. Kevin getting Andy's boss ferrari was a nice twist. I'm really beginning to dig Mission Hill.

So, everyone's favorite attorney FINALLY comes back with new episodes. It's about time! And what's even BETTER is that we get to see Brak and the Aqua Teens EVERY SINGLE WEEK instead of just every two! WOOHOO! (Ok, I know, we've seen Brak every week for a while when the block first started, but it's great to see that he's back in full swing!)
Anyway, my thoughts on Shaggy Busted? It was brilliant. Also, it appears that my prediction on an earlier thread on this board was correct. Scrappy WAS busted for his annoying "Puppy Power!" quote. Sure, he wasn't thrown in jail, but it was nice to have Avenger dispose of him. Take THAT, small fry! Bwa ha ha!
I also liked the new episode of Mission Hill, too, just like all the other ones, but I thought CN went a little too far, however, when they left the National Socialist logo intact. They should've replaced it with something else dangerous, but not offensive, like the "radioactive/hazardous material" symbol or something.

This is funny, as I was just thinking Scrappy should be on the show on trial since he is accused of destroying Scooby and has been made practically into the archvillain of all cartoondom.
I didn't realize the show was on Sunday at 11. I usually have to go to bed, and Space Ghost is on way too late, and it's always that Home Movies "Dr Katz" copy show, followed by other stuff.
I wish they would put Birdman, Brak and Space Ghost on earliest, (remember the days when SGC2C and Cartoon Planet were at 11-12) but perhaps they are trying to discourage kids who will think the shows are for them, from watching.

Haha, I just saw Shaggy Busted awhile ago. Hilarious episode. I loved the part when Avenger swooped down and kidnapped Scrappy Doo, sort of like how Scrappy Doo appeared in later episodes dead and stuff. I also liked the video images taken out of context.
