Lot to talk about in this Yu Yu marathon.

Ok so at the beginning of the Third episode in the marathon I saw in the bottom corner A little symbol with e/i in it.
If i'm not mistaken that stand for entertaining and informative.

Isn't that some sorta stupid crap they shove on lousy infotainment shows they make for 4 year olds on ABC?

Did anyone else notice this? I know i saw it there. I only noticed it once.... though I didn't really pay attention for all the other ones...

So what is it? Why's it there? Was it there? What does it mean?

I was listening to the marathon...but I was only half watching, since I was wokring on something and couldn't look up at the screen too often, but maybe it was simply an error...I mean once CN ran five minutes of the playboy channel during what was supposed to be an episode of the flintstones! Now that is Adult Swim! hehe.

oh well 200 will come soon enough :), I was in a rush to get off post no. 666 earlier today, it was freaky becuase in this same day I have watched The Amityville Horror, and then played monopoly...while playing I rollled 6 3 times in a row, and then looked up Toonzone to see I was on post no. 666 akk!

Actually the "e" part stands for "educational".

I saw it too, with a TV-Y7 rating bug in the opposite corner, in spite of there being horrendous violence and plentiful minor curses in the script. My guess is that it was a mistake on Funimations part making the master tape, or maybe someone's idea of a joke. CN usually does not use the "e/i" bug on any other program.

ABC puts a similar icon (Illuminating Television lightbulb) on EVERY 1 Saturday Morning show, regardless of the show's content. The FCC requires broadcast networks show at least a minimum amount of "educational" childrens' programming. The definition of that category, however, is fuzzy and networks try to qualify just about whatever they can get away with in order to meet the quota.

That Playboy channel thing wasn't a national broadcast -- one local station "accidentally" got the feeds mixed up... my guess being either someone who wanted to get the station in trouble, or got tired of watching the PPG and switched the channel over to something dirty, accidentally switching the whole feed as well.. Both are silly ideas, but it did actually happen, but just at one station.
