I wonder how long it's gonna take them to replace the current version of episode 16 they have, but in today's marathon, the middle finger was still editted.

How very CN-like.

Either....

a.) FUNimation didn't ship it in time
b.) FUNimation sent it but it didn't arrive
c.) CN simply misplaced the tape again :p
d.) Programming didn't know or forgot a new copy arrived.

FUNimation is quite laxed on their editing. Look at newer DBZ episodes, there is close to no edits about all the damage done to characters where as in Funi's part of the Frieza saga their was more editing out.

According to FUNi, CN at first told them to paint over the finger, but after notifying CN that it actually has made it on the air, they got a loophole and were allowed to restore the edit and send a new copy.

Wow. I didn't know they were going to edit the middle finger back into this ep. But obviously they didn't.

I could have sworn that in further episodes, Funi was going to keep the finger in from now on since we proved its been done before.

Yes. Justin Cook has said that in episode 32, the next ep in which we see the middle finger, they will NOT edit it.

Wow eps. 16 and 32... did they have a mandate saying "EXACTLY every 16th episode, a middle finger MUST be shown in the "flipping the bird" manner"?
