Recording shows off of tv is not pirating, if it was, everyone in america with a VCR would be in jail. Copying those tapes is not illegal either. The only way it becomes illegal is when you buy a commercial, copyrighted tape with Home Movies on it, copy it, and sell it. I just don't have Cartoon Network and never get to watch the show unless I'm at someone's house who does. The show is byfar the funniest cartoon on tv.

If trading tapes isn't illegal, then explain it to WB. They almost nailed our butts to the wall for talking about tape trading in the past.
