The Aqua Teens make a cameo
During a CNN-type news report, on a screen to the left of the Tom Brokaw wannabe, you'll see them (especially Master Shake).

Thanks! Now hopefully I won't miss it by doing something stupid, like going to the bathroom, or blinking.
I was hoping they would be cameo'd in a McDonald's like place where the girls would be eating or something, and they would fight over the toys of Shake and crew and cause some chaos....but hey, as long as they're in their somewhere.
Was this post necessary? Sure. :p

Q about scene.
Is it the part when the female news caster calls the girls little freaks?

Another thing to add if that there are a few ppg references in some episodes of ATHF, so its not surprising.

Nin-Nin69, it's right before that.

That scene was on one of the trailers that was hosted by ppg801.com
I think it was the second one.
I think they make an appearance just before the part that plays in that clip, Joe.

I was wondering where the ATHF live. Gotham City, Townsville, or Cats City? It has scenes from all 3 shows.

They're in the new "Copter Mike" trailer for the movie. Try to spot them ;)

Trust me, the clip does have the Tom Brokaw guy and a small image of Master Shake. I saw it so many times that I practically had it memorized. Plus, I saw the movie today and recognized the part with the clip. :p
The screen is kinda blurry, but you can tell that it's Master Shake.

For anyone interested, the scene with Master Shake is approximately 35 mins. into the movie. I know some theatres have like 20 mins of previews and others only have 5, so its approximate. Also, the scene appears on screen a few times over the course of a few minutes, so it shouldn't be hard to miss.

Can you find Master Shake in this picture?
http://imagehost.auctionwatch.com/preview/jo/joetully/.mids/shake.jpg
Is that supposed to be him on the second screen from the left?

Yup. It doesn't help that the picture is so small, but it's not really all that clear in the movie either.

They should have Shake be the broadcaster. It would crack me up if they had Shake say, "look at those mutants with their fluids and diseases."

i saw it it was so easy to see, did anyone see brak in the very begining before the movie started. it was when it had most of the CN characters and there eyes formed the the CN logo.

Someone posted the picture of that a week or so back on the General Animation forum so you could pick out everyone who was in it.

I'll see it when it's shown on CN (if I can stay awake through it), which will probably be in about 3 months, considering how badly it performed at the box office this weekend

If you had any support for Cartoon Network at all, you would go see the movie.
Heck, if you don't want to see it, just buy the ticket and leave.

I guess some people wouldn't care if Adult Swim's budget gets reduced to nothingness and is destroyed, instead of increasing to provide even better programming. Shrug.

hmm, what else can we all do to prove that we're secure in our masculinity? have a sleep-over? play with Barbies? giggle at how cute Justin Timberlake is? pee sitting down?

Yes, enough that I'm not afraid to see a quality piece of cinema even though some may consider it girly. Can't say the same for you, I'm afraid.

I went to see PPG with a group of guys and girls. Some of the guys enjoy PPG along with other Cartoon Cartoons and some had never seen them before. EVERYBODY ENJOYED THE MOVIE!!!
So just go see it already! :D
And just to keep the thread on track: guess I'll have to see it again, 'cause I missed The ATHF guys the first time.

I'm not avoiding it because it's girly. I'm avoiding it because I don't like the Powerpuff Girls.
and before you throw up that argument that we must support Cartoon Network in all of its endeavors, let me just say that I disagree.
if we were to reward every bad move the Cartoon Network makes, we would be knee-deep in bad programming and worse movies. and if Adult Swim has to suffer (which it won't) because of CN's mistake, then it is the fault of CN, not the fans.

I have seen the PPG movie twice already. For all of you PPG Haters, you really should see the movie. There is a depth of character shown there that you can't squeeze into an 8-10 minute short. The visuals and music are OUSTANDING! (where's the frakkin' soundtrack already?!) There's nothing like seeing the girls "for the first time" ;)
And, yeah, ATHF should have had a real cameo instead of the still shot, but I'll take the cameos when/where they happen :D
Toonie/Treehouse, it was more like the final straw instead of the whole reason. Most of your other posts have been rather, uhm, off(!).

To applaud the banning of someone for having questionable opinions is just unAmerican. I've read Toonie/Treehouse's posts and, while I don't agree with all his opinions, I respect his right to speak his mind, as long as he's not verbally abusing people, which he isn't.

You sure were making it sound like you didn't want to see it because it was "girly."
You don't even know if it's a good movie or not. In your apparent ignorance of the show, you've written it off as "girly." I mean, c'mon. Three girls who fly around and make rainbows? Is that all you think the show's about? How many seconds of the show have you actually watched?
It's not so much the fact that you disagree to support Cartoon Network that angers me, it's the fact that you do it in apparent ignorance.
You weren't banned for your opinions, you were banned for the rude, abrasive ways you stated them. And then, you're given a second chance by not being immediately banned when you sign up under a different name, and you go and break the rules by starting a topic about a locked topic when you should've cleared things up through Private Messages.

I'll reply for Treehouse/Toony since I work a a legal assistant, and since his voice has been silenced.
I've read that Ebert thread. You and Matt Wilson were rude to Treehouse before he was, and neither of you guys were banned from the forum.
Here is all the rudeness from that thread.
post 16, John Miles: "Look at the freaking title."
post 17, Treehouse: "IT'S A FREAKING CHILDREN'S MOVIE."
post 20, John Miles: "you are just making yourself look stupid"
post 21, Treehouse: "(amazing, huh?)"
post 24, Treehouse: "your fanatical logic"
post 26, Matt Wilson: "um," "um,"
post 28, Matt Wilson: "...........Dear Lord. That is the most unresearched reply I've ever read on this forum."
post 32, Matt Wilson: "Whoops, sorry, I didn't realize we weren't using logic tonight."
post 33, Treehouse: "well, now your reply is [the most unresearched reply]" "I've actually WATCHED the show. haven't you?"
post 34, Matt Wilson: ".............. ...... ......................... ...... .... ......... ..... .................................... ....yeah."
post 35, Treehouse: "why, yes, that makes loads of sense. interesting concept of "logic""
post 40, Jimmy Kustes (MOD): "I would close this thread. But it is too funny. LOL"
post 41, Treehouse: "hmmm, how could I possibly substantiate that? let me gather a team of research assistants and I'll get back to you." "I could use another good laugh"
post 44, Matt Wilson: "Um, "
post 47, CartoonFridays (MOD): "Treehouse, while your version of "logic" is so interesting, it bored me to tears. If you need a soap box to stand on, I'm sure other sites are looking for a big mouth."
Not a very democratic closing to that thread, rather a sad endorsement of intolerance and censorship.
There are also numerous accusations that Treehouse is ignoring points, and has never watched the PPG show. Treehouse stated several times in that thread that he's watched show, which wouldn't be too difficult since it's been on for around 5 years. You should probably just take his word for it and move on.
Treehouse is simply responding to rudenesses that you and Matt started. This leads me to suspect that he was banned for his opinions.

He also had the nerve to spam his thread on the CC board in other topics, like he was trying to rally support against Matt or something. Very troll-like behavior.

So what? Now you're just picking at nits and backing away from the central issue.
Treehouse is outraged that he was banned with no explanation so he simply stated his case in a thread and asked why he was banned. if someone is banned from this board, don't they at least deserve an explanation of why?
Besides, I don't see any "spam." He posted his "banned" thread in the Cartoon Cartoon forum, the forum that holds the thread for which he was banned.
You should respect Treehouse's right to state his opinion, not hunt for weak excuses to condone censorship.

I'm sure it was all handled through private messages, which was where it SHOULD HAVE BEEN.

Yeah, but he made at least one other out-of-nowhere reference to it in the Adult Swim review thread here.

I don't condone censorship. I respect his right to his opinion, as misinformed as it may be. At any rate, this is now and issue between Treehouse and the mods and admins, so let's put it to rest.

PowerpuffGrrl: Third time's a charm, eh Treehouse?
You MUST be a legal assistant for a criminal defender (if you are even that) the way you conveniently edit the conversation in your (treehouse's) favor. Why not just put up a link and let the people decide.
Some people have to stop hiding behind CENSORSHIP, and start realizing that "taking out the trash" is sometimes necessary.
Ugh. Enough already! Was it or was it not easy to spot Master Shake in the PPG movie? :p

If you had bothered to read Treehouse's "banned" thread, you would see that he was not informed through private messages of why he was banned. (and you call Treehouse misinformed. heh) Now maybe you see why he felt he had to start a thread about the issue, so people like you and me can be informed of the bullying that goes on behind the curtain.
Personally, I wouldn't mind knowing why Treehouse was banned. It seems very strange considering that there is no evidence of misconduct, expect for a few lines of condescending text which were provoked by you and the mods. If the mods truly have the power to ban someone for their opinions (which appears to be the case), then anybody could be next.

Yes, let's all just sweep our dirty injustices under the rug. THAT'S the American way. Now let's put this issue to rest and never speak of it again. Let the mods and admins handle this. They all know best.

First of all, "leads me to suspect" is a fancy way of saying that you don't really know what's going on. No offense, but you don't.
For now, I'm closing the thread. If Matt or any of the mods feel like explaining what's going on once it's all sorted out, we'll let ya know.
And please don't criticize mods on the boards. If you have to ask a question, do it privately.
EDIT: Oh, and Treehouse, I've confirmed that you're PowerpuffGrrl.
