Longer fire Ant?

I would post this in the ASC review thread but questions tend to get lost in there.

So the obvious question.... is there a longer version of Fire Ant out there somewhere?

This isn't part of that "a SGC2C DVD is coming soon" thing that WS street apparently gets a good laugh off of is it?

I'd like to make a more elaborate question but it's pretty simple...

So what's the story here oldtimers?

The long version of Fire Ant is SG following the ant back to his home for about 10 minutes. In fact here's a transcript of that 10 minutes

(For the next 10 -- yes, 10 -- minutes, Space Ghost follows the ant. As he hums to himself, he travels through the halls of Ghost Planet Industries, outside the building, over a rock, down a mountainside...)

Space Ghost: Ants are so stupid.

(He continues down the mountain, over and under a cliff...)

Space Ghost: I am going to so kill you.

(And he follows some more, knocking his head into a rock, through the Ghost Planet wildnerness, below the surface of a pond, past an underwater city, back above the surface of the pond, through more wilderness, over a sandy plain, across a desert...)

Space Ghost: This time tomorrow, you'll be dead. You down with that? 'Cause it's gonna happen.

(Finally -- FINALLY -- Space Ghost arrives at the ant's house, where he finds a giant ant monster.)

Space Ghost: Hey, your son just bit me here! I want to know what you're gonna do about it!

(The ant monsters roar and chase after Space Ghost.)

Space Ghost: (Running away) Your son is a moron!




As for the version that was in Table Read i'm not sure of.

Yes, there IS a longer version of Fire Ant.

It aired once in December 1999, and that was it. After that, they just cut out the whole chasing part and replaced it with a black screen that said "The Next Day" on it.

No not cockroach. La Coockarocha.... i'm not sure how to spell it.
It's a ray that Space Ghost downloaded off the internet he shoots it and his desk starts movin like a lowrider or something. One of those cars that bounices up and down.

I hope I don't seem to obsessed with that one joke or anything. There were a couple of great lines and stuff in Table Read that just didn't make it to Fire Ant for some reason. time I suppose. They cut good jokes so he could wander for ten damn minutes.
But it does actually sound funny. Wish they'd show the long version once more.
Hell, I just wish they'd keep showing space ghost period. There must be at least 2 or 3 "seasons" worth of stuff that i haven't seen.

Wow. So Dr. Fishopolis never made it to the finished product, huh? And the whole "the jig is up" thing was great too! That's classic. I'm always confused by the stuff they cut out of shows/movies, in general.
