Superman: The Animated Series reruns are scheduled to return this fall to Cartoon Network. The WB Network will be premiering the new Superman series, Smallville, Tuesdays at 9 p.m. this fall. So naturally, using corporate synergy, Superman:TAS will be used to promote the new series. Similarly, TNT will continue to show reruns of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman to help promote Smallville.
Superman also will be featured heavily in Cartoon Network's new Justice League series.
Cartoon Network has not yet released when Superman:TAS will return to the network, but it is expected to return within the next two months. Superman:TAS reruns are currently on hiatus.
