Considering how like nobody really cared about my Virtru Fighter post, I descided to try a diffrent game. :(
I've only tried the game a bit but I seem to like the charecters of Jin, and Law/Lee.

They made Eddy way too strong. He over powers every other character.
and Once he gets going, there's no stopping him (like Maxi in Soul Calibur)

Now no one wants to hear my narrow minded Marvel vs. Capcom-only ramblings, but don't worry, it shouldn't be too long.
All those Virtual 3D Tekken fighters and games seem the same to me. My take on fighting games was very very limited (close to zero) until Capcom and Marvel used my TV show attitude of "not interested in the show unless I like the characters" to their advantage.
Ryu, Ken, Captain America, Cyclops, Spiderman....that's my team!
Wow, that really wasn't long! I figured that was going to be a lie, but what an interesting suprise.... ;)

I like Jin, and I like True Orge - the fire breathing is cool :D

I could disect the diffrent 3d Fighters for ya.
Tekken: Very attack based, you have to learn a bunch of combos in this thing. The deffense system is pretty much self automated. And their are lots of moves to learn.
Virtru Fighter: The first of the 3d Fighters, and still one of the best. This game is extreamly deep, it is by far the most technical of the 3d fighters IMo. The counter system is very stiff, in this game IE you have to be dead on accurate when you counter someone, and it is very hard to learn alot of moves. I'm, still learning so much about VF3.
Dead or Alive series: I have often called this series the cheap mans VF, but that's just my opinion. Anyway this game like Tekken relys on combos, however the true tour de force is the counter system. In my opinion the counter system is to off balance, IE to strong, but oh well.

I have only played two 3-d fighters in my life, and they were in an arcade.

I usually play Tekken Tag Tournament at my friends house, and I always pick Jin and Jun.

I like Dead or Alive 2's tag team battle more than Tekken Tag Tournament.
Favorite Soul Calibur characters= Seung Mina + Hwang

I haven't played much Tekken. Truth be told, I'm not a huge fan of fighting games... the genre has, by its nature, remained fairly stagnant over the years. True, the games can be beautiful or well-crafted and fun to play, but most haven't really offered anything new in years.
...so that's why I can't really give a good answer to that one. :)

Hmm. Ya know Jervis, maybe that's why the MvC line is the only one I'm interested in. I got started on this forum 3 years ago for my one and only interest: superheros. Oh well.
I guess in order to appreciate Tekken sequal number 52 you have to have a following of all the games before.

I don't play much Tekken, or any fighting games for that. The last fighting game I played was Motal Kombat 2. I'm more of a RPG player.
